Have a Sweet Day Layout

This layout was created using the Birthday Cakes and Cupcake Lite cartridges.  I used a Martha Stewart punch to add an accent border around the photo mats.
The "Have a Sweet Day" title and cupcake border are cut from the Birthday Cakes cartridge.
The other two cupcakes and the "16" are cut from the Cupcake Lite cartridge.
I used the Distressed Stripes, D'Vine Swirl, Swiss Dots and Once Upon A Princess Cuttlebug embossing folders for the cupcakes and one of the photo mats.
I also used stickles, ribbon and pearl stickers to embellish this layout.

Cards

Here are a couple of simple cards I made using the Summer in Paris cartridge.
For the Happy Birthday card I used some plastic letters that I had and a prima flower.  I also used some coordinating pearls as embellishments.
The next card, I stamped a sentiment on a strip of paper that was punched with a Martha Stewart punch. I again added a prima flower with a pearl in the center.
I also used pop dots to add dimension to the shoe on both cards.

School Zone Layout

This layout was created with the Graphically Speaking and Locker Talk cartridges.  The title was cut from Graphically Speaking and all of the other cuts are from Locker Talk.
The title is cut at 5.O inches, the scissors at 4.0 inches, the lock at 4.0 inches, the A+ at 3.0 inches, the compass at 4.0 inches and the globe at 5.0 inches.
I used the Houndstooth Cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss the A+.
I also used a white gel for lots of faux stitching on this layout.

Me and My Sisters Layout

I created this girly layout to use for some fun pictures of me and my sisters.  I used the Summer in Paris and Gypsy Font cartridges for this layout.
The title was cut from the Gypsy Font cartridge and welded together on my Gypsy.  The dress form, french maid and crown were cut from the Summer in Paris Cartridge.
I cut off the feather duster in the french maid's hand so she didn't look like a maid.  Now she looks like she is holding that big diamond ring on the patterned paper behind her.
I used a Martha Stewart Border punch to add the lacy border between the two patterned papers.  I also used white foam flowers, diamond stickles and a white gel pen to accent the die cuts.  The die cuts were popped up on foam dots for the dimensional affect.
I used three layers for the mats to break up all of the patterned papers in this layout.

Built to Play Layout

Today I'm participating in Cricut Craft Rooms Scrapbook Saturday event to showcase one of my layouts.  This is a layout that I created using the Wrap It Up, Boys Will Be Boys and B is for Boy cartridges.
The title for the layout was cut from the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge at 2.5 inches.  I have seen this title used on several other layouts so I admit that I "scraplifted" the title, however, at this time I don't recall which designers used it so I am not able to give them credit.
The blue robot was cut from B is for Boy Lite cartridge at 6.0 inches.  I added a metal button to his tummy to add some hardware to him.
The green robot was cut from the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge at 5.5 inches.
The last robot was cut from the Wrap It Up cartridge at 5.5 inches.  I used some metal brads to also add some hardware to him.
I added a lot of faux stitching to this layout with a white gel pen.  My intent was to make the die cuts stand out from the multiple patterns used in this layout.  Each of the robots are also popped up on foam dots so they don't blend into the background.  The arrows throughout the layout were cut from the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge at 1.5 inches.

Diva Layout

This is a one page 12x12 layout that I made some time ago.  This is probably my first layout that I made when I finally felt comfortable using my Cricut Expression.
This layout was made with the Hannah Montana and Rock Princess cartridges.  The frame and title are cut from Hannah Montana and the strawberry vines and crown are cut from Rock Princess.
I used Core'dinations glitter cardstock in black for the frame, title and strawberry vines.  This paper cuts very nicely in the Expression, however, you do have to remember to use the multi-cut feature.
I used some stickles, bling and white faux stitching to add the little extra details to my layout.

Surprise 100 Cartridge Blog Hop

Welcome to the Surprise 100 Cartridge Blop Hop.  This is a special blog hop by Erica's design team for this very special day in her life.  Congratulations Erica!  If you are visiting the blogs in order you should have come from Rosa's blog.  If you just came across my blog and want to start at the beginning, please start at Erica's blog.  Now on to my project:

Love Layout
In honor of Erica's wedding today, I decided to create a "love" themed layout.  I used the Wedding Solutions cartridge to create this layout.  The background paper is from the DCWV Immortal Love stack.
The Love title was cut at 3.5 inches including all layers except for the bottom layer which was cut at 4.0 inches.
The double hearts were cut at 4.5 inches.
Both of the larger hearts and the layers were cut at 5.5 inches.
I used two different colors for the photo mats and embossed the top photo mat with the Love Language Cuttlebug embossing flolder.  Please remember to become a follower and leave a comment to be entered into My Cricut Craft Room's blog candy.  Your next stop will be Sue-Ann's blog.  Thanks for celebrating Erica's special day by hopping with us!
