Halloween Tag

This oversized tag was cut at 6.0 inches from the Wrap It Up Cartridge.  The fence cut was part of the tag so I added a strip of grass using the Fiskars Grass border punch.  The pumpkin is an embossed sticker.  The tag is embellished with Orange Licorice Trendy Twine.

The flag with the skull and cross bones was stamped from My Creative Time All Around Accessories stamp set.  I embellished my tag with a large brad added to a twine bow and some tulle.  The purple "Halloween" tag was in my stash so I added it to the top of the fence.

Coffin Treat Box

This coffin treat box was created using a die cut from the Recollections die cut stack which I have had in my stash since last year.  The tag also came from the same stack.
I added some Orangesicle Trendy Twine and I created a fun little box for some Halloween treats.

Trendy Twine Design Day

I am lucky enough to be back over at the Trendy Twine for an extra design day this month and I have a Halloween themed layout to share.
This layout was created using the Autumn Celebrations cartridge for the title and the trick or treaters.  I used the Designer's Calendar cartridge for the spider.
The Halloween silhouettes were perfect to add to this themed paper.  I added a photo mat to cover up the haunted house on the second page so I could create a two page layout.
I used several colors of Trendy Twine on my layout.  Orange Licorice was used on the title, the tag, the spider and the photo mats.  I also added a small bow in Lime Licorice to the title.
On the photo mats, I used the Fiskars Happy Jack border punch and added some twine to the bottom of the border.
The Happy Halloween tag came from a page of die cuts from my stash, I simply outlined it in Orange Licorice twine and added a bow with a paper flower and some bling.
The spider was created by outlining the center in Orange Licorice twine, Midnight twine for the legs and Black Licorice for the web path.  The spider was finished off with some bling eyes.
There are still a few days to link up your creations for the Trendy Twine challenge this month.

Up to my Eyeballs!

The inspiration for my card came from the patterned paper behind my card which has spooky eyeballs all over it.  This card was created using the jar from the Kate's ABC's cartridge and welding two jars together using my Gyspy.  This is such a simple card to create, I just used some scraps from my stash.
I stamped the jar with the Studio G eyeball stamps, colored in the eyeballs with my white gel pen and added Glossy Accents on top.  I also added some faux stitching using my white gel pen.  The lid was created with Black Licorice Trendy Twine and then I wrapped the top of the card with some Orange Licorice Trendy Twine for a pop of color.  The "spooky" sentiment is from the Fiskars Trick or Treat stamp set.

EEK! Layout

This layout was created using the Happy Hauntings cartridge for the title and the Moveable Monsters Digital cartridge for the skeleton.
The skeleton is intended to be put together with brads so that it could move, however, I just glued it together since I wanted to just use it on my layout.
The large scalloped circle is a die cut from my stash.  I added it to the patterned paper to break up the busy background.
I added some Lime Licorice Trendy Twine to the skeleton's bow tie.
The Martha Stewart Scary Fence border punch was used for the fence on the photo mats.  I also added some little jack-o-laterns trimmed from the Fiskars Scary Jack border punch.
The Halloween chipboard tag was also found in my stash.  I added a simple Orange Licorice Trendy Twine bow to it.

Along Came a Spider

This spider card was created using the Happy Hauntings cartridge for the spider web frame and Designer's Calendar for the spider.
The spider was altered by outlining him and his web in Orange Licorice, Midnight and Black Licorice Trendy Twine and some bling for the eyes.
I  added bow made with tulle topped off with a twine bow.  A few paper flowers with bling centers were added as a finishing touch.

Trendy Twine Design Day

Today is my design day over at Trendy Twine and I have a witch shoe treat holder to share.  I created this shoe with the Princess Party cartridge and added a buckle from the Fabulous Finds cartridge.   Just by using some Halloween paper I turned the princess shoe into a witch shoe. The Princess Party cartridge is such a fun and girly cartridge, I just love using it for my creations.
I outlined the buckle with the Orange Licorice Trendy Twine and added a paper flower with a bling center to finish off the top of the shoe.
I added some Halloween Oreos to a spider web bag and inserted them into the shoe to create a fun treat holder.  Another Trendy Twine bow was added to the back of the show with a paper flower.
Don't forget to check out the challenge going on this month over at Trendy Twine and come link up with us!  Today is also the last day to enter my giveaway.

Fa-boo-lous Celebration!

To enter my giveaway in celebration of Fa-boo-lous Halloween week, please click here.
Today I am a guest designer featured on the Happy Life, Crafty Wife blog.  Tamara has been celebrating a Fa-boo-lous Halloween week with lots of inspiration and giveaways and I am honored to be part of the celebration.  Please thank our sponsors for todays's giveaway Trendy Twine and My Thoughts Exactly by becoming a fan of their Facebook pages.
For my project, I created this standard A2 sized card using some fun Halloween themed paper.  I added a web border and a couple of smaller webs to my card from two different Martha Stewart border punches.  The patterned paper already included the "caution" sentiment.
The mummy was cut from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge and wrapped in Black Licorice Trendy Twine.  I added a couple of wiggly eyes to finish him off.
The mummy was then centered on an oval and adhered to the card.  I added a small tulle bow to the top of the card with a Lime Licorice Trendy Twine bow.

Trendy Twine Design Day

Welcome to another Trendy Twine Group Design Day.  We are featuring the Orange Licorice Trendy Twine this month.  For my project, I created this spider candy stick.  The spider was cut using the card feature from the Mini Monsters cartridge.  Since the spider is actually a card, the candy stick was easily adhered between the front and back of the card.
I outlined the spider in Black Licorice Trendy Twine.  Then added a pop of color with a couple of tiny bows using Orange Licorice.  The bows were finished off with a paper flower with bling centers.  I also used a small tulle bow behind the twine bow.
The spider was finished off with some googly eyes and a twine mouth in Black Licorice Trendy Twine.  These googly eyes have eyelashes which make them even cuter.
This month we have a Halloween challenge going on so come link up with us over at Trendy Twine.  Also, remember to check out the store for all of the fabulous twine colors!
