Winter Wonderland Layout

This one page 12x12 layout was created using winter themed tags cut from a paper stack.  I added Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine as an accent.  The pop of red in the twine coordinated perfectly with the red in the large hand cut flag.
The snowflakes came from my stash.  I added a small doily behind the photo mat as an embellishment.
My layout was finished off with some coordinating buttons.  I added a bit of twine to the button holes.

Special Day Layout

This simple layout was created to display as many pictures as possible.  I was able to add photo mats for 6 pictures.
A banner was added to the bottom of the layout which was created by folding punched scallop circles in half over Totally White Trendy Twine.  Some bling was also added to the banner.
Since I didn't have much room left on my layout for a title, I thought the sentiment was the perfect title for my layout.  The sentiment is from Docerela stamps.
A small journaling tag was tucked in behind a photo mat and accented with twine.  Some paper and felt flowers were used as an embellishment.
The tag for the sentiment was cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge and finished off with a twine bow and a flower.

Memories Layout

This layout was created using three different cartridges, Cheerful Seasons for the "true story" tag and the "memories" title, Carousel for the food items and Summer Vacation for the tickets.
The carnival themed paper provided the perfect accent for my theme park layout requiring only a few die cuts.
A small banner was attached to each side of the large ticket.  Berry Trendy Twine and some bling stickers were added to the banner.
I used my white gel pen to add some doodling on the title and on the scalloped circle tag.
The Making Memories "Panorama" stamp set was used to stamp images on the tickets.  A small metal sticker and a twine bow finished off the ticket.
The candy apple and the two ice cream cones were glittered with some Stickles.  Another twine bow was added to the apple.

Candy Treat Bag

I needed to make a simple treat bag to tuck in with a gift so I went to my stash for some items.  I added some holiday M&M's to the bag and used a festive clothespin to clip a pre made tag to the bag.  A small bow with some new Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine was the finishing touch.

Treat Bag

This holiday treat bag was created using several items from my stash.  I purchased some treat bags from Michaels to use for small holiday gifts.  I added a doily and a tag from my stash.  The tag was embellished with some polka dot ribbon and a little bit of Twisted Blue Berry Trendy Twine.
A few snowflakes from my stash were added to the tag.  A clothespin was used to hold the tag in place.  A small hand cut flag with a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set finished off my treat bag.

Today is our group design day over at Trendy Twine and we are sharing Christmas gift wrapping projects using 2 of the new holiday twines Christmas Mint and Cherry Limeade.  For my project, I have a pretty package wrapped with Kraft wrapping paper.
A small doily was added to the center of the package as an embellishment.  I then added the Cherry Limeade twine to my package.  A small pom pom was created for the center of the package.  The pop of color was perfect for the simple package.
Check out the new holiday twine colors available for purchase in the store.  We also have a new challenge going on, "Wrap It Up with Trendy Twine".  We would love to see you link up your Christmas gift wrapping using Trendy Twine.

Football Layout

The football season finished up for my son a couple of weeks ago so I thought I better get his layout finished up before moving on to some holiday projects.  I created this one page layout using the Lyrical Letters cartridge for the title and the Digital Numbers cartridge for the "55" which was his jersey number.
The embellishments came from my stash of die cuts.  I added the football stickers to a punched circle and stitched around the circle with my white gel pen.
A hand cut flag with some washi tape was used as an embellishment along with a small bow made from Twisted Lime Trendy Twine.  A few star stickers at the bottom of the photo mat finished off my layout.

Scrappy Moms Guest Designer - Hello Card

I am a guest designer over at Scrappy Moms this month and I have another project to share using the November release stamps.  I used the "Just Sayin" stamp set and the Die-namics "Say What" metal dies which are now available for purchase.
For my project I created this CAS card using the 2 inch die.  I stamped the "Hello" sentiment from the "Just Sayin" stamp set in the center of the word bubble.  The die cut was popped up on foam dots for added dimension.
A small twine bow made with Berry Trendy Twine was used to embellish the die cut. I used some red washi tape on my card to break up the striped card stock.
Today is the last day of release week over at Scrappy Moms and I want to thank them for having me as their November guest designer.  I love the new stamps and dies and have enjoyed using them on my projects for the past week!

Operation Tag - A Birthday Celebration and Scrappy Moms Guest Designer

I am a guest designer over at Scrappy Moms this month and I have another project to share using the November release stamps.  I used the "Birthday Hugs" stamp set which is now available for purchase.
For my project, I created, a star shaped birthday tag for a special birthday.  The star was cut from A Child's Year cartridge and hole punched to create a tag.  I added a paper flower to the center of the star and layered it with a punched scalloped circle.  The star was finished off with a button in the center and a bow created with In the Navy Trendy Twine.
The finishing touch was a hand cut flag with the Happy Birthday sentiment stamped from the Scrappy Moms "Birthday Hugs" stamp set.
For a closer peek and the new stamp set released by Scrappy Moms, please visit the store here.  I will have another project to share with the new stamps later this week, please stop by to check it out.

Scrappy Moms Guest Designer - Love Layout

I am a guest designer over at Scrappy Moms this month and I have another project to share using the November release stamps.  I used the "Just Sayin" stamp set and the Die-namics "Say What" metal dies which are now available for purchase.
For my project today, I created this one page 12x12 layout.  To create my layout, I layered some patterned card stock and added a strip punched from the Martha Stewart Beaded Arc punch to each side of the patterned card stock.
I used both sizes of the "Say What?" Die-namics dies and stamped three different sentiments from the "Just Sayin" stamp set.  I also used the "I Love You" sentiment on a small hand cut flag on the tag on my layout, however I masked off the "I".
My layout was embellished with Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine, sequins, paper flowers, ribbon and some cording.  I created a large tag and embellished it.
I also used some pre-made coordinating tags with sentiments throughout my layout.  A small banner was added to the corner of the layout as a finishing touch.
Please stop by tomorrow for another fun guest designer project using the new Scrappy Moms release.
