This simple layout was created using the Teddy Bear Parade and Celebrations cartridges. All of the die cuts were from Teddy Bear Parade other than the title.
The balloons are meant to be attached to the teddy bear, however, I added them to the opposite page to balance out the large bear.
A small hand cut flag was added with a "1" to memorialize my nieces first birthday. I added some bling to the tag and also to the teddy bears shirt.
I used several different embossing folders on my layout to give some texture to the die cuts. The D'Vine Swirls folder was used for the balloons and frosting on the cupcake. Spots & Dots was used for the birthday hat, Swiss Dots for the star on the hat and With Gratitude for the teddy bear's shirt.
I added some
Tickled Pink and
Lemon Tart Trendy Twine to the embossed balloons. The stamped sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms "Dancing In Circles" stamp set. In the center of the stamped sentiment, I added a tiny birthday hat button.
Another twine bow was added to the birthday hat. All of the die cuts were inked on the edges for added dimension.
