I created this card with a couple of challenges in mind plus I needed a thank you card. The background of the card was embossed with the Darice Buttons embossing folder. I added some buttons to the card for a pop of color. Scalloped circles were used to create more buttons.
I added several colors of Trendy Twine to the buttons and finished the card off with a sentiment from Docerela stamps using only a portion of the entire sentiment.
Today is my design day over at Trendy Trendy and I created this double page 12x12 layout. The layout was designed using three different cartridges, Teddy Bear Parade for the "bee" bear, Sentimentals for the title and the flying bee and Teresa Collins Basics for the honeycomb and scalloped circle.
To create this layout, I used some scraps I had left over from other projects. The colors seemed to work well with the cuts for this layout. A couple of flags were also hand cut from the scraps.
I used the EK Success Pointed Flower Punch along the border at the bottom of the layout. The photo mats were tied with a bow from Lemon Tart Trendy Twine.
The top layer of the title was embossed with the Preserves Cuttlebug embossing folder. The bee was embellished with Stickles and some pearl stickers. A twine flight path was added with the bee flying away.
I added lots of different paper flowers to the layout. Pearl stickers were used for the centers of the flowers.
The "bee" bear was inked on the edges and embellished with Stickles. I used the Peachy Keen Critter Faces stamps for the face. A double Trendy Twine bow with a paper flower finished off the "bee" bear.

Welcome to the April Trendy Twine group design day! This month we are featuring Lemon Tart which is a pretty twist of yellow and white twine. For my project, I created this elegant birthday card.
I used a scallop punch for the squares and added a tag cut from the Lacy Labels cartridge. The paper flowers were layered on a twine looped flower and finished off with a pearl embellishment. The sentiment is from Docerela stamps and popped up on foam for added dimension.
We would like to invite you to link up your creations for our monthly challenge. Also, check out the store for your favorite twine colors here.
This simple layout was created using the Elmo's Party cartridge. I found this cartridge about a year ago on clearance and could not pass it up because of the price. I have finally broken it out of the clamshell to use it on this layout.
The cartridge has a fun font on it and the die cuts are super easy to layer. I added a party hat to Elmo and brightened it up with some yellow Stickles.
I trimmed off the string on each of the balloons and added Black Licorice Trendy Twine for the string.
For the two balloons, I just tied the twine together in a knot to create a small bouquet.
Today I am sharing a springtime layout which started with a sketch from Pinterest that I slightly modified to make it my own.
The title was cut from the Cheerful Seasons cartridge, the octagons from George and Basic Shapes and a few of the flower from Flower Shoppe!
The die cuts were inked on the edges for added dimension. Stormy Trendy Twine with a double bow was added to the photo mats.
Several different paper flowers in coordinating colors with pearl sticker centers were added to the layout.
The tag was hand cut and embossed with the Modern Wallpaper Cuttlebug embossing folder. The "perfect" sentiment chipboard came from my stash and was adhered to burlap. The tag was embellished with some tulle, jute, ribbon, flowers and a twine bow.
