Us Layout

Today I am sharing this double 12x12 layout which was created using the Sophisticated cartridge for the die cuts and some patterned paper.
I used a shimmer paper so the die cuts would stand out against the red background.  Unfortunately, the shimmer paper does not photograph well and looks much lighter than it really is.

Several paper flowers with bling centers were added to each of the pages next to the frames.  The frames are open on one side to easily slide in the photos.   A small Berry Red Trendy Twine bow was added to the crown.
The chandeliers were embellished with Stickles and bling.  The tag was finished off with a chipboard clock sticker from my stash and some coordinating ribbon and flowers.
A bling flourish from my stash seemed to be the perfect finishing touch to the "blinged out" layout.

Disneyland Memories Layout

This Disneyland theme double page layout was created using the Mickey Font cartridge for the title and charms.
To create this layout, I started with solid yellow card stock and added some strips of patterned paper to the top and bottom of the page to create a border.
I used the charm letters to create the banner for the title at the top of the pages.  The title was then attached to the strip of patterned card stock using Orangesicle Trendy Twine.
The characters were cut from patterned card stock from my stash and matted on solid black card stock and added to the bottom of the layout.
A couple of Mickey ear charms were tied with twine and adhered to a couple of the photo mats.

Pretty In Pink Blog Hop

Hello everyone, welcome to the Trendy Twine Pretty In Pink Blog Hop!  The Trendy gals are showcasing the new release of Pink Licorice and Pink Midnight twine and both are available at a special price in the spools and minis.   Since I absolutely love pink, these colors are going to perfect for my creations.
My project features Pink Licorice Trendy Twine.  The treat container was cut from the Victorian Romance cartridge and modified by only leaving one of the ends open.
I added some pink tulle to the opening of the container and embellished it with heart stick pins and tied a twine bow with beads as an accent.  A second double twine bow with beads was added to the heart on the front of the container.  A few more embellishments including ribbon, a button with twine, a flower and a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms "Crazy for You" stamp set finished off the treat container.
The final stop on the hop is Yvonne.  Remember to check out the store to purchase these fabulous new twine colors!

Sweet Baby Princess Layout

Today I am sharing a fairly simple layout I created using the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge.  This cartridge has the cutest bears on it.
I found this patterned card stock in my stash.  I remember buying this many years ago when I first started scrapbooking.
In creating my layout, I kept with the theme of the boxes on the top and side of the card stock and added squares for my photos and embellishments.  A small ribbon border was added to each of the photo mats and a small bow to one of the mats.  I also added a doily to the background of the layout.
The "Princess" title was already printed on the card stock.  I used the Martha Stewart Daisy Chain punch to create a border at the top and bottom of the title to highlight it.
This 3D giraffe was also found in my stash of stickers, I added a small Posy Trendy Twine bow to his tail.
I added a hand cut flag above the title.  The sticker sentiment says "Sweet Baby".  The flag was also embellished with Posy twine.
The baby bear was inked on the edges and stamped with the Peachy Keen Critter Faces stamps.  I added a tiny paper flower with a pearl sticker to her hat.
A large Trendy Twine flower with a button center was added to the layout.  The outfit in the corner is another 3D sticker embellishment from my stash.  A left over border from the title was added to the mat.
The 3D elephant from the same embellishment pack as the giraffe was added to the last mat.  The tiny flowers and a twine bow finished off my layout.

Family Vacation Layout

This Minnie Mouse layout was created using the Mickey and Friends cartridge for Minnie and the Mickey Font cartridge for the Minnie ears.
The circle was a cut I found in my stash which was perfect to use as a base for Minnie Mouse.
The "family vacation" stickers were from my stash and used as the title for my layout.  A small twine bow in Tickled with Teal was also added to the title.
A group of three paper flowers with bling centers and a touch of ribbon created the perfect accent on each of the pages.
I used my scallop circle punch and the Stampendous "Circle Talk Spots" stamp set and a metal sticker to create a couple of fun embellishments.
Minnie ears with Tickled Pink Trendy Twine were attached to hand cut flags which coordinate with the photo mats.

Snow Globe Card

This snow globe card was created using the Joys of the Season cartridge.  I welded two snow globes cut at 5.5 inches using my Gypsy and created a card.  The snowman was cut at 3.0 inches.  He was embellished with some tiny pearl stickers and a Berry Red twine scarf.  His broom was accented with Black Licorice twine.
I added some snow to the bottom of the globe and a few trees punched from the EK Success Alpine Trail border punch.  I used my white gel to give the trees a snowy affect.  The Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine bow was the perfect color tying the card together.

Trendy Twine Design Day

Today is my design day over at Trendy Twine and I have this layout to share which follows the Trendy Twine challenge this month using Watermelon Taffy.
I used four different cartridges to create this winter themed layout.  The title was cut from Beyond Birthdays, the mittens from Jolly Holidays, the small scalloped circle from Lacy Labels and the snowflakes from the Christmas solutions cartridge.
My layout was created using a large snowflake which was cut in half and symmetrically placed between the two pages.  The smaller snowflakes with bling centers were scattered throughout the two pages.
I used several hand cut flags on my layout.  A large flag was used under the title. The title was embellished with Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine by outlining the heart.  Some doodling with my white gel pen and a coordinating ribbon bow finished off the title.
The mittens were also embellished with Watermelon Taffy Trendy twine, some brad buttons and snowflake buttons. The looped bow tied the mittens together perfectly.
Some coordinating ribbon with twine bows added a nice finishing touch to the photo mats.  Some bling was also added to the center of the twine bow.
This embellishment was created using a scalloped circle with a hand cut flag in coordinating papers and topped with a snowflake.
Stop by the store for your twine needs and there is plenty of time to come link up your creations for the monthly challenge.

Snow Much Fun Layout

This Snow Much Fun layout was really so much fun to create.  I used the Winter Frolic cartridge for all of the die cuts.
I added some torn pieces of paper to the bottom four corners of the layout to create snow hills for the die cuts.
I added some doodling with my white gel pen to the title of the layout and to all of the die cuts.
Berry Red Trendy Twine bow was used to accent the title of the layout and the outfit of the snow kid.
I added a metal embellishment from my stash to the hand cut flag.  The flag was accented with Berry Red twine.
The snowy hills were accented with Stickles and some plastic snowflakes, also from my stash.
This tag was also found in my stash and I added a snowflake sticker to the center.  More twine finished off the tag.
The snow kids and the snow bunny cheeks were chalked for a rosey look in the snow.
