Admit One Layout

This bright and cheery layout was created using the Carousel lite cartridge for the "Admit One" title and the Mickey and Friends cartridge for the train.
I added a couple of groupings of paper flowers as an embellishments.  All of the flowers have bling centers.
The title was cut at 3 inches so that it would really pop on the page against the patterned paper.
The flag was hand cut and I added a metal tag with a brad from my stash.  The metal sticker was adhered to a paper flower and I added a Berry Red Trendy Twine bow.
A metal tag was attached to the train with some Black Licorice Trendy Twine and a couple of brads were added to the train.
I added a tag for journaling from my stash.  Another metal sticker adhered to a paper flower, some ribbon and twine finished off the tag.

Bloom Layout

This Springtime layout was created using lots of flowers from the Flower Shoppe cartridge.  The title was cut from the Bloom Lite cartridge and the doilies from Cricut American Alphabet.
To create this layout, I added a circle of flowers to each of the doilies and to the center of each doily.
The centers of the flowers were embellished with a dot of Stickles for a sparkly effect.
Hand cut flags were used to create a simple banner across the bottom of the photo mat.  Blue Berry Trendy Twine was used for tying the banner together as an embellishment.
Another banner was created at the top of the layout by simply adhering a row of flowers.  A few more flowers accented the photo mats.
The layout was finished off with some hand cut flags, one was stamped with a sentiment from a Studio G stamp set.

Birthday Princess Layout

This layout was created to scrapbook pictures of my daughter's 18th birthday.  I cannot believe how fast the years have flown by and she is now an adult.  She has always been a princess so I thought this was the perfect layout to memorialize this special day.
The Birthday Cakes cartridge was used for the title, the castle and the "18".  This cartridge has some fun hidden cuts on it.
The patterned card stock had Cinderella slippers and crowns on which was perfect for my layout.  I punched a border using the Martha Stewart Doily Punch and added it to the patterned card stock as an accent.
The title was embellished with a small paper flower, some pearl stickers and a Posy Trendy Twine bow.
Both the title and the castle were cut from glittered card stock.  I added some Stickles to the windows of the castle and a couple of flowers and bling.
The flag was hand cut and embellished with a 3D sticker and gold tulle which was also used on the photo mats.
The princess dimensional stickers were found in my stash.  I only had 3 of the princesses so I used what I had.
Lots of flowers were added to the layout to add to the princess theme.  The "18" was accented with a twine bow.
The large flowers looked a little plain on the layout so I added some Stickles to them for a sparkly affect.

Some Bunny Loves You Card

Today I am sharing a simple Easter card created with the 3 Birds on a Parade cartridge.  I used the Peachy Keen Animal Faces stamp set for the bunny faces.
The sentiment is from the Docerela "Mix & Match I" stamp set and was stamped on a hand cut flag.  I finished off my card with some Posy Trendy Twine and pearl stickers.

Baseball Layout

It is almost Springtime and that means baseball season for us.  Of course I had to create a layout to scrapbook some pictures of my son playing one of his favorite sports.
I used the Baseball Seasonal cartridge for all of the die cuts on my layout.  I inked the edges of the die cuts and photo mats.
I outlined the inside of the pennant with Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine.
A My Creative Time stamp from "Sports Sentiments" was added to a hand cut flag.  It was the perfect finishing touch

The shamrocks were embossed with the D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder and outlined with Twisted Lime Trendy Twine.   Some more twine was added to the mat with a small button.
A Studio G sentiment on a hand cut flag which was inked on the edges finished off the card.

Bunny Hop

Hello and welcome to the Trendy Twine Bunny Hop!
Thanks for joining our hop today featuring Bubblegum Taffy twine.  We are showcasing color number 45 in the Trendy Twine line up.  This color is a twist of aqua, pink and white and is the perfect combination for Spring projects.
My project is a double page 12x12 layout.  The title for my layout was cut from the 3 Birds on a Parade cartridge, the fence from My Community, the eggs from Sugar and Spice and the bunnies from Teddy Bear Parade.
The Sizzix Woodgrain folder was used to emboss the fence for added texture.  The grass was punched with the Fiskars border punch.  The fence and grass were both inked on the edges.
The bunny faces were stamped with the Peachy Keen Animal Faces stamp set.  A couple of buttons with Bubblegum Taffy twine were adhered to the eggs.  The twine was also added to the bunnies, the title and the photo mats.
I loved the title for this layout, I plan to add a couple of picture of my niece to this layout.  The twine outline on the photo mats with the rolled ends was the perfect accent to highlight the pictures.
The next stop on the hop is Dawn.  Visit the store here to purchase the new twine color.

Lucky Day Layout

Today is my design day over at Trendy Twine and I created this two page layout for my project. I used a total of four cartridges; Phrases for the title, Simply Charmed for the pot of gold, Sesame Street Seasons for the clouds and rainbow and Teddy Bear Parade for the bears.
This Saint Patrick's Day themed layout features Twisted Lime Trendy Twine which was used on the photo mats and on the die cuts.
I added beads to the ends of the twine and tied a knot to hold the beads in place.  The shamrock from the title was used as a separate die cut on each of the pages.
The pot of gold was embossed with the Tiny Bubbles Cuttlebug embossing folder and some Stickles were added to the gold.
Both bears were stamped with the Peachy Keen Critter Faces Stamp set.  Their hats were embossed with the Argyle Cuttlebug embossing folder.
For the rainbow, I outlined the edges with Trendy Twine in Cranberry, Orangesicle and Lemon Tart. The clouds were embossed with the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder.
Aren't all of these twine colors fabulous?  Check them out in the store in addition to many other colors. Come link up your creations over at the Trendy Twine monthly challenge.
