Good Times Layout

This summer themed layout was created to scrap book pictures of my kids at Six Flags.  I used the Carousel Lite cartridge for the title and the Summer Vacation cartridge for the other die cuts.
The Summer Vacation cartridge does not have any layers for the cuts so I added some Black Licorice Trendy Twine as an accent to the ferris wheel.
The pennant banner was created by cutting the pennants by hand and was accented with twine and some bling stickers.
I used my white gel pen to add some stitching to the large ticket on the title and also to the small ticket. Some bling was also used on the die cuts.
Some ribbon was added to a couple of the photo mats and as a finishing touch to the small ticket.  I used some stickers from my stash to spell out "Six Flags".

Docerela Creations Spa Time Release and Challenge

Today is challenge day over at Docerela Creations and we are showcasing the "Spa Time" stamp set.
The new challenge is to use a two color combination on your project.  I chose pink and white as my combination using many different shades of pink.
For my project I created a gift package with several goodies.  I used a clear bag and added some patterned paper and then created a simple topper which was punched with the Martha Stewart Doily border punch.  I added some coordinating washi tape to the bag topper.
A small tag punched from the Fiskars tag punch was stamped with the new Spa Time stamp set.  The tag was tied to the bag topper with Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.
The large flower was created with a scalloped circle punch and finished off with a small plastic flower and more twine.

Prom Layout

I created this layout for some prom pictures of my daughter.  I used several items from my stash and scrap pile to create this layout.
The doily was cut from the Martha Stewart Elegant Cake Art cartridge.  I layered a large hand cut tag on top.  The edge of the large tag was punched with the Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch.  The tag was finished off with some sheer ribbon and a twine bow.
Next I added a small medallion punched with the Martha Stewart Medallion Punch along with a glitter flower with a bling center.
I used a couple of flourishes on my layout.  I had the flourishes left over from another project and don't remember from which cartridge I cut them.
The title was cut from the Hello Kitty Font cartridge and added to a hand cut flags which created a banner.
The banner and the clothesline for the frames were embellished with Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine.

Special Day Gift Card Holder

Today I have a project to share which was created for a birthday gift.  To create the gift card holder, I used a sheet of paper slightly larger than a gift card.  The paper was glued together on the back and bottom to create a pocket.  I forgot to write down my measurements, however any size large enough to hold a gift card would work.
I added solid red cardstock to the front of the holder and used my circle punch to create the half circle.  A fun sentiment from Docerela Stamps was matted on card stock and added to the front of.
A hand cut tag large enough for a gift card was hand cut and embellished with Blue Berry Trendy twine.

The Design Team is showcasing Bumblebee Trendy Twine which is the new color released today.  It is a fun and festive twist of yellow and black twine.  Plus, if you order it today, it's on sale for only $8.
For my project, I created a bumblebee themed gift bag to go along with the new Bumblebee twine.  I used yellow and black card stock to create the background for my bag.  The bee was cut from the Garden Soup cartridge and highlighted with the twine.  I also used the twine to create the center of the flower.
More twine was used to attach the tag and close the bag at the top.  The sentiment is from Docerela stamps and created by combining two different sentiments.  The sentiment was added to a tag punched with the Fiskars tag punch.
Don't you love the new Bumblebee twine?  Remember it's on sale for $8, for today only.  You better hurry over to the store to order your new twine.  Your next stop on the hop is Candi.

Ticket 2 Fun Layout

Today I have a red, white and blue layout to share.  This two page 12x12 layout was created using the Cheerful Seasons cartridge for "Fun" in the title and the Mickey Font cartridge for the "2" in the title.
The banner was cut out twice from the Carousel lite cartridge and the stars are from Phrases.
I created a large photo mat so that multiple 4x4 pictures could be displayed on a single page.
The ticket in the title and the border were cut from a full page that I had in my stack.  I used foam dots for the title for added dimension.
I added Sky Trendy Twine to the title, along the banner and to the metal charm.
The flag was hand cut to which I will add a sentiment or some journaling, I will have a better idea as soon as I add my pictures to the layout.
