Football Layout

The football season finished up for my son a couple of weeks ago so I thought I better get his layout finished up before moving on to some holiday projects.  I created this one page layout using the Lyrical Letters cartridge for the title and the Digital Numbers cartridge for the "55" which was his jersey number.
The embellishments came from my stash of die cuts.  I added the football stickers to a punched circle and stitched around the circle with my white gel pen.
A hand cut flag with some washi tape was used as an embellishment along with a small bow made from Twisted Lime Trendy Twine.  A few star stickers at the bottom of the photo mat finished off my layout.

Scrappy Moms Guest Designer - Hello Card

I am a guest designer over at Scrappy Moms this month and I have another project to share using the November release stamps.  I used the "Just Sayin" stamp set and the Die-namics "Say What" metal dies which are now available for purchase.
For my project I created this CAS card using the 2 inch die.  I stamped the "Hello" sentiment from the "Just Sayin" stamp set in the center of the word bubble.  The die cut was popped up on foam dots for added dimension.
A small twine bow made with Berry Trendy Twine was used to embellish the die cut. I used some red washi tape on my card to break up the striped card stock.
Today is the last day of release week over at Scrappy Moms and I want to thank them for having me as their November guest designer.  I love the new stamps and dies and have enjoyed using them on my projects for the past week!

Operation Tag - A Birthday Celebration and Scrappy Moms Guest Designer

I am a guest designer over at Scrappy Moms this month and I have another project to share using the November release stamps.  I used the "Birthday Hugs" stamp set which is now available for purchase.
For my project, I created, a star shaped birthday tag for a special birthday.  The star was cut from A Child's Year cartridge and hole punched to create a tag.  I added a paper flower to the center of the star and layered it with a punched scalloped circle.  The star was finished off with a button in the center and a bow created with In the Navy Trendy Twine.
The finishing touch was a hand cut flag with the Happy Birthday sentiment stamped from the Scrappy Moms "Birthday Hugs" stamp set.
For a closer peek and the new stamp set released by Scrappy Moms, please visit the store here.  I will have another project to share with the new stamps later this week, please stop by to check it out.

Scrappy Moms Guest Designer - Love Layout

I am a guest designer over at Scrappy Moms this month and I have another project to share using the November release stamps.  I used the "Just Sayin" stamp set and the Die-namics "Say What" metal dies which are now available for purchase.
For my project today, I created this one page 12x12 layout.  To create my layout, I layered some patterned card stock and added a strip punched from the Martha Stewart Beaded Arc punch to each side of the patterned card stock.
I used both sizes of the "Say What?" Die-namics dies and stamped three different sentiments from the "Just Sayin" stamp set.  I also used the "I Love You" sentiment on a small hand cut flag on the tag on my layout, however I masked off the "I".
My layout was embellished with Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine, sequins, paper flowers, ribbon and some cording.  I created a large tag and embellished it.
I also used some pre-made coordinating tags with sentiments throughout my layout.  A small banner was added to the corner of the layout as a finishing touch.
Please stop by tomorrow for another fun guest designer project using the new Scrappy Moms release.

Scrappy Moms Guest Designer - Birthday Girl Card

Happy Friday, I am honored to be a guest designer for Scrappy Moms for their November stamp release.  There are two new stamp sets being released today along with a set of Die-namics dies.  They are all so fabulous and available now for purchase.

I have a project to share which features all three of these products.  I created this fun birthday card for a friend of mine whose birthday is in a couple of days.
The focal point of my card is the Polaroid frame which was cut from the Freshly Picked cartridge.  The Birthday Girl sentiment was stamped from the "Birthday Hugs" stamp set.  I used the Die-namics "Say What" die and stamped the "Pssst…" sentiment from the "Just Sayin" stamp set on to the word bubble. I added another sentiment from the "Birthday Hugs" stamp set to some pink card stock.  All three of the sentiments seemed to work perfectly together.  My card was finished off with a paper flower and a button along with a twine bow in Cotton Candy Trendy Twine.
Aren't these new stamp sets so fun?  I love how they can be used together along with the dies.  Stop by Scrappy Moms to get yours today!  Remember to stop by my blog all next week for more projects with the November stamp release!

Trendy Twine Design Day - With Thanks Card

Today is my design day over at Trendy Twine and I have a fall theme card to share.  This month we are featuring the Orange Truffle twine which is a twist of orange and brown and is perfect for all of those Fall projects.  I embossed the background of my card with the Paper Lace Cuttlebug embossing folder and inked it for added dimension.  I added a layer of burlap ribbon and card stock wrapped in twine as the focal point.  I punched a scalloped circle and adhered a hand cut flag with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set. Some paper leaves, stick pins, a coordinating button and some curled twine finished off the card.  I only have a sneak peek for you here, please visit the Trendy Twine blog for a closer look at my card.
The Orange Truffle twine is on sale in the store.  The store is packed with all sorts of goodies, perfect for the upcoming holiday season.

Dream Layout

I am sharing a single page layout which only features one die cut which is the scalloped circle, cut from the Teresa Collins Basics cartridge.  I added some paper flowers to the scalloped circle.
The title, flower and bird are chipboard embellishments from my stash.  All of the papers on this layout were inked on the edges for added dimension.
The hand cut flags were stamped with sentiments from the Scrappy Moms "Mini Messages" stamp set. A canvas flower with a coordinating button, ribbon and Nautical Trendy Twine were added as embellishments to the tags.
Several hand cut flags lined the bottom of the mats creating a focal point for the single photo mat on the layout.

Trendy Twine Group Design Day - Gift Bag

Today is our group design day over at Trendy Twine and we are showcasing the Orange Truffle twine.  For my project I created a gift bag.  I embellished the bag with a rosette and added loops of twine underneath to create a flower.  A turkey cut from the Thanksgiving cartridge was added to the top of the rosette.  The turkey was embellished with some bling and Stickles.  The rosette was finished off with a small hand cut flag and a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Mini Messages Stamp set.
The edge of the bag was punched with the Fancy Flight EK Success punch and the bag was closed with two coordinating paper clips.  I added a thin strip of coordinating paper to the front of the bag. Orange Truffle twine was also wrapped around the strip of paper for a finishing touch.
Visit the store to purchase your holiday twine, there are so many fun colors to choose from!
