Hello Card

I have a fun little card to share which was created using another one of the Cutie KaToodles from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  This time I used the Skunk, he's so stinkin' cute!
The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms More Mini Messages stamp set.  I stamped the sentiment on a punched scalloped circle which was added to the center of a doily cut from the Sophie cartridge.  The doily was then adhered to a tag punched from a Fiskars tag punch.  A small bow in Totally Orange Trendy twine finished off the tag perfectly.  I scattered a few home made enamel dots in the corner of my card as an accent.
Thanks for stopping by and have an awesome day!

Congrats Grad Card

Hello today I have a fun card to share which I created for my daughter's graduation from Community College.  Although initially she wasn't too keen on participating in the ceremony, I may have nudged her a bit to celebrate this important milestone in her life.
My card was created using the Graduation Day cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I used the Christmas in July Peachy Keen Stamps for the face and the Fun Celebrations stamp set from Scrappy Moms for the sentiment.  A few scattered stars, enamel dots and a small bow in Totally Lemon Trendy Twine were the finishing touches on my layout.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Hogs and Kisses Layout

Today I have a layout to share using the newly released Scrappy Moms Party Animals stamp set.  With all of the animal themed projects I create, I know this will be another one of my go to stamp sets.  The pig was cut from the KaDoodle Bug Designs Cutie KaToodles Girl Piggie cutting file.  I swapped out the ear of corn for a heart which was more fitting for my layout page.
The title of my layout was cut from the Just Because Cards cartridge.  I stamped the sentiment on a hand cut flag and tucked it near the photo mat.  I wrapped some Stormy Trendy Twine around the photo mat as an accent.
Here's a closer look at the new stamp set:

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Animals, Animals Everywhere

Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps.  Our theme for this challenge is "Animals, Animals Everywhere".  For my animal themed project I created this fun birthday card using the Scrappy Moms Zodiac Signs stamp set.  The lion was cut from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge and I stamped the face with the Here Kitty Kitty Peachy Keen face stamps. The embossing was done with the Cuttlebug Mesh Texture embossing folder.
The strip of grass was left over from another project so I added it to the bottom of my card and cut off the excess.  A small bow in Orangesicle Trendy Twine was the finishing touch.
Please stop by Scrappy Moms Stamps to check out all of the design team projects and to link up your "Animals, Animals Everywhere" themed project to win a stamp set of your choice.  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello everyone!  I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a fun layout to share featuring Krazy for Kraft twine.  To create my layout I used the Cutie KaToodles Bumble Bears from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The "Bee Happy" title was cut from the Just Because Cards cartridge and adhered to a hand cut tag.
The neutral colored twine was perfect for accenting my layout by creating some whimsical trails for the bees, a center for the flower and embellishments for the photo mat and tag.  I also tied a bit of twine to the wood vaneer love arrow, pointing directly towards the photo mat.  These wooden embellishments are so fun for layout pages.  The photo mat was embossed with the Cuttlebug Honeycomb embossing folder.
Stop by Annie's Paper Boutique to pick up the products featured on my layout and so many other crafty goodies!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Panda-monium Layout

As I was digging through my stash of scrapbooking paper, I found these fun papers and knew I had to create a layout page.
The "panda" portion of my title was cut from the Noah's ABC Animals cartridge and the "monium" was cut from the Art Nouveau cartridge.
The pandas and bamboo are all from the KaDoodle Bug Designs Cute Little Pandas cutting file. These little pandas are just the cutest.
I wanted to break up the animal print so I added some coordinating papers to the top and bottom of my layout pages.
A hand cut sign was created to stamp a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Crazy for You stamp set. A small bow in Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine embellished the sign.
Thanks for stopping by, have a fabulous day!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - All About Mom!

Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps.  Our theme for this challenge is "All About Mom".  For my project, I created a shaker card using my Cricut Explore.
I used the Natural Luxury paper pad from Craft Smith.  I adore the elegant papers with the touches of gold.  The doilies were cut from the Sophie cartridge and layered on top of the sliced circles on the patterned paper.  A few coordinating sequins were added to each of the circles.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Fun Celebrations stamp set.  The finishing touch was a small bow in Totally Natural Trendy Twine.
Please stop by Scrappy Moms Stamps to check out all of the design team projects and to link up your "All About Mom" themed project to win a stamp set of your choice.  Have a great day!

Some info on National Scrapbooking Day:

Each year on the first Saturday in May, it is National Scrapbook Day.

Also known as National Scrapbooking Day, on this day thousands of people get together all over the country to celebrate with scrapbooking parties and share their talents with others.

Scrapbooking dates back to the 15th century.

As per Wikipedia: “Scrapbooking is a method for preserving personal and family history in the form of a scrapbook. Typical memorabilia include photographs, printed media, and artwork. Scrapbook albums are often decorated and frequently contain extensive journaling. Scrapbooking is a widely practiced pastime in the United States.”

Scrapbooking is a hobby of preserving memories and at the same time it provides a strong social network.

”Scrappers”, as they are called, get together and scrapbook at each others homes, local scrapbook stores, scrapbooking conventions, retreat centers and have even gone on cruises.  Together they share tips and ideas and enjoy the social outlet.

Scrapbookers are often referred to as "Paper Hoarders".

AWESOME LAYOUTS

Recently my son got his braces off so I wanted to memorialize this fun event by creating a layout.  I found these adorable cuts on the Dr. Checkup Cricut cartridge.
The boy's faces were stamped with the Boymates Peachy Keen face stamps, however on the left side of the page, I used the braces die cut since I will be adding a picture of my son with his braces to that page.
My layout was embellished with some fun chevron washi, a few scattered enamel dots and a couple of coordinating brads.  A bit of Orangesicle Trendy Twine was used as an accent on each of the pages.
I tucked in a small journaling tag behind one of the photo mats with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set.  A chevron embossing folder was used for the circle behind the boys face.
Let's get to hopping!!!
