#Love Layout

Today I have a fun double page layout to share which was inspired by Cricut Design Space (DS).  I saw some fun emojis in DS which are available for purchase and not part of the DS Access.  I went to my list of linked cartridges and found these emojis on the Smiley Cards cartridge which was exclusive to Gypsy owners several years ago.
I changed up several of the emojis by adding some hearts, bows and even the mustaches to give them the look I was aiming for.  The title was cut from the Seasonal - Home Team cartridge which is part of the DS Access.  The fun papers came from stash and are from the DCWV Generation Tech Stack.  I think I've had this stack for several years.  The accents for my layout also came from this stack.
Some Stormy Trendy Twine was added to the photo mats.  I outlined the pirate emoji's patch with some Black Licorice Trendy Twine.  Some enamel dots and a couple of flags with coordinating washi tape were the finishing accent on my layout page.

Hello Beautiful

Today I have a layout page to share using the sketch from the February challenge over at DCWV.  All of the papers with the exception of the white card stock came from the DCWV Street Lace Stack and the Street Lace Card Stock Stack.  I love how all of the papers coordinate perfectly in the two stacks. When creating this page I used my Cricut Explore to score the large heart in the background which made the placement of the bling stickers so much easier.
The title of the layout was cut from the Home Decor Vinyl Wall Art cartridge.  The dress form is from the Nifty Fifties cartridge and was dressed up with the Adhesive Jeweled Sheet also from DCWV. The frame was cut from the Cindy Loo cartridge and stamped with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Happily Ever After stamp set.  Some Pink Midnight Trendy Twine was used to accent the frame and photo mat.

Happy Birthday

Happy Monday!  I have a busy month of birthdays in my family in March so I got a jump start on creating a birthday card using the sketch from the February challenge over at DCWV.  I used the Sweet Stack from DCWV and went with a softer color combination than I usually lean toward.
The cupcake was cut from the Baby Steps cartridge, wrapped with a bit of Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine and accented with a flower.  I added a bit of sparkle to both of the flowers with some Stickles. A few enamel dots were scattered around the cupcake which was popped up on foam dots for added dimension.  I finished off my card with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Hooray for Birthdays stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Shaker Tags

Today I'm sharing some fun tags I created with my new Fuse Tool which is so much fun to use.  There are so many great ideas on Pinterest too.  To create these tags, I started with printables which all came from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  They were all printed on heavy card stock so they would have some weight to them and then trimmed into a tag shape.  The tags were sealed inside the clear plastic by running the heated tool along the edges.  Prior to sealing the top, I added some sequins to each of the tags.
My first tag was created with the Cutie KaToodles Winter Hot Cocoa Bear file.  I used a Chevron Trendy Page Dot and some Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine.  After I finished this tag, I realized that I should have stamped a fun sentiment on the right side, I guess it's too late for that.  The sequins are a mix of the Raspberry Cupcake and Frosty sequins from Annie's Paper Boutique.
Next is the Valentine Patch Bears tag, I love the color combination of this tag.  All of the pretty red, purple and pink sequins are from my stash.  My tag was accented with a Swirly Trendy Page Dot and some Grape Fizz Trendy Twine.
My final tag was created with the Cutie KaToodles - Honey Wheelbarrow Bear.   This is such a fun file too and I know I will be paper piecing this one together for another project.  I used some of the Raspberry Cupcake sequins for this tag and added some heart sequins to it.  The Trendy Page Dot is from the Valentine Set which has some super cute page dots.  The final accent was the Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.
I know I will be using my Fuse Tool for lots of projects.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Out of this World

Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps.  The theme for this challenge is Out of this World.  For my project, I created a single page layout using the Out of this World cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I totally adore the astronaut dog from this file.  The fun papers are from the DCWV The Doodling Stack.  I cut the title from the Life's a Party cartridge using my Cricut Explore.  The arrows were also cut using the Cricut Design Space subscription.
I did a lot of doodling on my layout using my white gel pen.  A journaling tag was tucked in and stamped with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Designers Choice 2 stamp set.  The tag was accented with some Totally Lemon Trendy Twine, a Limesicle Hello Dottie Trendy Page Dot and a small heart.  A few pieces of washi tape and some bling were the finishing embellishments on my layout page.

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello everyone!  I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a single page layout to share featuring Krafty Red Trendy Twine and a Kraft Metal Rim Tag.  This color is such a gorgeous combination of kraft and red, it looks amazing!  I created my layout using the Gilded Paper Stack from DCWV.  I love the gold in this paper stack and have been hoarding it for quite some time.
The pretty doily in the background was cut from the Edge to Edge cartridge using my Cricut Explore.  I just love how intricate and pretty it is.  I added a Kraft Metal Rim Tag to the center of the layout and accented it with the twine.  The heart in the center of the tag was cut from my new Die Versions "Wee Petite Buttons" die.  More twine was used to accent my layout.  The finishing touch was a few sparkly hearts.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Head on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to check out the crafty products used on my layout!  Have a fabulous day!

XOXO - Love

Hello, today I have a Valentine's Day post to share using some fun products from Oriental Trading. I'm not sure how many of my crafty friends know that Oriental Trading carries lots of crafty supplies, I especially love all of the products they have for scrapbooking and paper crafts.  Today I am sharing some fun cards I created with these products.  All of the papers I used are from the Rainbow Paper Pack and the solid Super 150 Paper Sheets.  They cut beautifully in my Cricut Explore using the light card stock setting.
My first card is a shaker style card created with the Bright Sequin Assortment using the red sequins. The flag was cut from the Pretty Pennants cartridge with a heart sliced in the center.  If you love sequins you will want to pick these up, it is amazing how many sequins you get.  The bags are huge and include a variety of colors.  I especially love the bright colors.  My card was embellished with an XOXO Flat Brad.  I didn't actually use the brad, however instead used the Stick-Em Adhesive Dots to adhere the XOXO portion to my card.  A bit of Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine was used to accent my card.
For my next card, I took another approach to a shaker style card and simply inserted the silver sequins from the Bright Sequin Assortment into the heart.  The "love" was cut from the Create a Critter cartridge.  A small paper heart was added to the top of the clear acetate.  The heart was outlined with the Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.  I embossed the remaining letters of the word to keep them from blending into the background of my card.  A small sentiment from  the Happy Valentine's Day Printable was adhered to the top corner of my card.
My final card is probably my favorite of the bunch.  I used some dies from my stash to create the love scene inside the polaroid frame.  The polaroid frame was cut from the When I was a Kid cartridge.  All of the papers coordinated so perfectly, the scattered sequins were used as an accent.  I die cut the hearts from paper left over from my first 2 cards.  Another XOXO flat brad was adhered to the bottom of the polaroid frame.  The final touch was a coordinating Patterned Wood Button with a bit more twine.
I hoped you enjoyed checking out some of my projects using my new goodies from Oriental Trading. Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

This review is based strictly on my opinion.  I was provided the samples free of charge by Oriental Trading to provide my honest review.  No other type of compensation was received.  All ideas and opinions are my own.

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello everyone!  I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a Valentine's Day card to share featuring Krafty Red Trendy Twine, a Kraft Metal Rim Tag and a couple of other goodies from Annie's Paper Boutique.  I created my card by layering some solid and patterned card stock on top of a kraft card base.  Next I added a Kraft Tag which was trimmed to better fit my card.  I embellished my tag with a coordinating Cherry Latte Ziggy Trendy Page Dot, some washi tape from my stash and some flowers.  I used a die to cut out the hearts.  The smallest heart got a layering of Stickles for a bit of sparkle and shine.
Once my tag was embellished, I layered it with a gorgeous red doily, a burlap circle, a scalloped circle and then the Kraft Metal Rim Tag.  A red circle was cut to the size of the metal rim tag to give it a pop of color. The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Love Notes stamp set.  A bit more twine was tied to the metal rim tag and another heart was used to embellish the tag.
Head on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to check out the crafty products used on my layout!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Love Layout

Hello, I am sharing this double page layout over on the KaDoodle Bug Designs blog.  My layout was created using the Love Birds cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The title for my layout was cut from the Beyond Birthdays cartridge using my Cricut Explore.  I started my layout with a punched grass border along the bottom of the page.
My layout page includes lots of fun sentiments from the Scrappy Moms Happy Mail stamp set.  I tucked in one of the sentiments inside the mailbox.  Some coordinating washi tape was added to each of the pages and layered with some hearts and enamel dots.
A small journaling tag was added to the corner of the page and embellished with some hearts and Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine.  Touches of twine were also used to accent the paper piecings.  I finished off my layout with a metal tag which is a bit hard to see in the picture, however, it says "love birds".
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

I Love You to Infinity and Beyond

Happy Monday!  Today I have another project to share for the Scrappy Moms release using the new Out of this World Stamp set.  I created a Valentine's Day project using the Out of this World cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I stamped the alien's face with the Peachy Keen Sweet & Silly Face Assortment Stamps and added some Stickles to his eyes and to the heart.  It's a bit hard to see the sparkly eyes in the pictures.
I wanted my alien guy to appear as if he was inside the spaceship so I trimmed off his little legs and placed him inside the spaceship.  I did some doodling on the paper piecings with my white gel pen as an accent.
Here's a closer look at the new stamp set, available here:
