Graduation Day Layout

Today I have a double page layout to share created with the Graduation Day Bookworms from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I found some ombre paper in my stash and cut out each of the bookworms so they are shaded from dark to light.  Their faces were stamped with the Peachy Keen Erkle and Merkle stamp set.
Some stars were cut from one of my Momenta dies and scattered on the title and layout page as an embellishment.  I also adhered some chevron washi tape and a few enamel dots as accents.
A large tag was tucked in behind the photo mat for some journaling.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Everyday Greetings (retired) stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have an awesome day!

Celebrate Card

Today I have an inspiration project to share for this month's DCWV Stack-a-holic challenge.  I don't know how many of my crafty friends have played along but I would strongly urge you to head over and check out the challenge, you could win a DCWV stack.  You still have a few days to submit a project for either one of the sketches.  For my project I used the Classy Copper Stack.  The copper is so sparkly and shiny, however a bit hard to photograph.
All of the elements on my card are from the same stack except for the 3 sequins which came from my stash.  I fussy cut around the flower and layered it on top of a sentiment flag.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello!  I am back over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a Kraft Gift Box featuring some gorgeous Midnight Trendy Twine.  I embellished my box with some coordinating papers from the DCWV Lemon Flower Stack.  A large hand cut flag was adhered onto my box and folded over the edges. Next, I cut out a tag and flower using my Spellbinders dies.  I love all of the detail on the flower which is a bit hard to see in the pictures.  The smaller flowers were punched with a couple of Fiskars flower punches.  A bit of bling was added to the centers of the flowers.
The sentiment was stamped form the Scrappy Moms Many Thanks (retired) stamp set.  The box was finally wrapped up with some Midnight Trendy Twine.
This fun kraft box and twine are both available in the store along with lots of crafty goodies.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Congrats Grad Tag

Today I have a fun tag to share which I created to add to a gift for one of my coworkers.  She is actually the division secretary who has been working 2 jobs and is finishing up her Bachelor's degree. I am so amazed how she was able to juggle school and work so I wanted to give her something to celebrate her accomplishment.
The oversized tag was cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge and layered with the Lucky Scallop Whispers Doily from Die Versions.  I trimmed off part of the doily for a better fit on my tag.  The graduate was cut form the Paper Dolls Teen Scene cartridge and her face was stamped with the Peachy Keen Fashionista Face Assortment Stamps.  I created a small clipboard for the sentiment which was stamped with the Scrappy Moms Fun Celebrations (retired) stamp set.  My tag was finished off with some Black Licorice Trendy Twine.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fantastic day!

Trendy Twine Design Day

Happy Monday!  I have a single page layout to share over on the Trendy Twine blog today featuring some gorgeous Midnight Trendy Twine.  I found the perfect paper in the DCWV High School Stack which I used for all of the different elements on my page.  The frame for the graduation tag and the silver flag and star came from my stash.
I added a couple of twine tassels to my layout and I love the dimension they add.  Both the photo mat and tiny notebook papers were accented with a bit more twine.  I punched the edges of the tiny notebook papers with the Fiskars Notebook Punch.  A few sprinkled enamel dots were used as an embellishment.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Critter Crazy (retired) stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Head on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to check out the gorgeous twine used on my project along with lots of other crafty goodies!  Have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday Card

Today I have a simple birthday card to share created with the KaDoodle Bug Designs Shoptastic Cuties - Pizza Cutie file.  My son is a huge fan of pizza to the point where he has to have it at least a couple of times a week so I thought this was the perfect card for his birthday.
The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Make a Wish stamp set which was the last stamp set they created for the design team prior to closing their business last month.  I love the bubble style sentiment.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a spectacular day!

Trendy Twine Design Day

Happy Monday!  I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a CAS card to share featuring some gorgeous Midnight Trendy Twine.  It was the perfect masculine color for a graduation card for my son who is graduating from high school.  I participated in a Cricut Cards file sharing event and this was one of the files shared in the group. I love the simple design of the cap and gown which were cut with the different shapes in Cricut Design Space.  The row of buttons were cut from the Paisley cartridge, the tassel from Wild Card and the 2016 from the Cricut Alphabet cartridge.
The tassel was outlined with some Midnight Trendy Twine and layered with a twine tassel.  A small brad was adhered to the center of the cap.  The twine also accented the diploma in the center of the sentiment circle. The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Dancing in Circles (retired) stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Head on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to check out the gorgeous twine used on my project along with lots of other crafty goodies!  Have a fabulous day!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!  Today we have a special post over on the Trendy Twine blog to share some Mother's Day projects.  For my project, I created a purse style gift card holder and card set.  The purse closes on top with a velcro and is the perfect size to insert a gift card.  I used some elegant papers from the DCWV Everlasting Love Stack which coordinated perfectly with the Black Licorice Trendy Twine.  I used the twine to frame the border on both the purse and card.  I also created a purse handle with the twine by doubling it up and slightly twisting the 2 strands to keep them together.
The purse was embellished with a flower brad.  I cut a coordinating tassel out of the same paper, embellished it with a bit of washi tape and hung it off of the brad with a bit more twine.  The card is a 3x3 size which can also be tucked inside the purse.  The sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Dancing in Circles 2 (retired) stamp set was stamped on a couple of scalloped circles.  A small flower with a bling center was the finishing touch on the card.
Please head over to the Trendy Twine blog to check out all of the amazing projects created by my design team sisters.  Also, remember to check out the gorgeous twine and craft supplies available in the store.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a Happy Mother's Day!

My Favorite Girls Layout

Today I have a double page layout to share over on the KaDoodle Bug Designs blog which I created for some pictures of my daughter and niece.  My layout was inspired by the sweet girls from the KaDoodle Bug Designs Lady Bug Girls file.  I had previously created a card with this file and knew I had to make a layout page with these adorable girls. This file was extremely tedious to piece together so I left off all of the little dots on the girl's dresses.  By the time I got to adding those, I was pretty much done.  The girl's faces were stamped with the new Peachy Keen Fashionista Face Assortment Stamps.  I'm really loving these new face stamps and how realistic they look.
The title for my layout was cut from the Sugar and Spice Cricut cartridge, however, the original title was "My Favorite Things" so I substituted in the word "girls" for  "things".   A few extra flowers were cut from the Wild Card cartridge to add a bit more detail and layering to the flowers from the Lady Bug Girls file.
A grass border punched with my Fiskars Grass punch was adhered along the bottom of my layout page.  A few bling accents and a fun tag were the finishing accents on my layout.  The tag was tied with a bit of Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Cutie Pie Layout

Today I have a simple layout page to share.  I started my single page layout with some cherry and kraft paper from my stash and added the Shoptastic Cutie  Cherry Pie Cutie and Cherry Cuties from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The Cherry Cuties were layered on top of a scalloped circle.  I adhered a bit of Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine as an accent to the bottom of the scalloped circle.
The title was cut from the Hello Kitty Font Cricut cartridge and inked on the edges for some dimension.  A single photo mat with some accent papers finished off my layout page.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Purse and Card Gift Set

Happy Monday!  I have a fun project to share today which was created using a Design Space file shared in one of the Cricut Facebook groups.  The purse and card set was created with some gorgeous papers from the DCWV Watercolor Stack.  The purse was cut with one sheet of 12x12 paper and embellished with part of another sheet which was also used for the card.  The card is a 3x3 which was perfect size to tuck inside the purse.
The purse is big enough to tuck in a few goodies and closes with a velcro at the top.   Since the papers were so beautiful, I only added a single embellishment which is the coordinating flower.  I inked the edges of the flower to add a bit of dimension.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have an awesome day!
