May Your Day Be Magical

Hello!  I have a sweet card to share today created with the Pretty Ponies cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I stamped the face with the Peachy Keen Happy Family Emoji Face Assortment Stamps.  A few accents with my white gel pen were the perfect finishing touch on the pony's face.
The doily behind the pony was cut with a Sizzix die and inked on the edges.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Happily Ever After (retired) stamp set.  The patterned paper is from the DCWV Brights and Basics Stack.  A bit of washi tape and a few enamel dots were the finishing touch on my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Trendy Twine - You are my Anchor

Happy Monday!  I have a favor bag and tag to share over on the Trendy Twine blog today.  I created my project with a Red Chevron bag which is the perfect size to add a gift card too.  I created a tag with the DCWV Coastal Stack which coordinated perfectly with the Stars & Stripes twine.
The layered sentiment tag was cut using a Spellbinders die and stamped with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Anchors Away (retired) stamp set.  I used my Cricut Explore to cut the anchor out 3 times in the different colors layering it for some dimension.  The anchor was also embellished with some more twine.

DCWV - Life Moments Layout

Hello!  I am excited to share another layout page today over on the DCWV blog which was created with the new Modern Metallics Stack available at AC Moore.  I am a huge fan of scrapbooking and when I saw these gorgeous black and white papers accented with gold I was immediately inspired to create a layout.  My layout started with the black and white striped paper which was layered with the heart patterned paper.  The hearts were the theme for the rest of my layout page.
I broke up the black and white stripes by adhering some gold washi tape along the bottom of the layout.  I used a tag from the tags page and cut out the words from the sentiment page and layered each word on some metallic paper so they would pop.  The tag was accented with a bow cut from the Cricut Pretty Packages cartridge.  The title was cut from the Sophisticated cartridge.  All of the circles, hearts and sequins were cut with dies and scattered on the page.  A bit of gold ribbon was used as an accent on the tag.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fantastic day!

Pink isn't Just a Color . . .

Today I have a fun card to share which was created with the Tropical Birds file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I love this cool flamingo with her shades.  I tucked in a paper flower above her glasses to give her a more of a girly appearance.
The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Tiny Treasures (retired) stamp set.  I thought it was so perfect for my card.  I finished off my card with a few enamel dots.

Eat Up Layout

Happy Monday!  Today I have fun layout page to share which I created to scrapbook some pictures of my nephew.  I was inspired to use the newest Peachy Keen Sick & Tired Emoji Face Assortment Stamps since they reminded of the faces babies make when they try new foods.
All of the die cuts were cut from the Baby Steps cartridge except the tomatoes were cut from the B is for Boy cartridge and the apple was cut from the Doodlecharms cartridge.  I added some Stickles to the fork for a bit of sparkle.  A bit of Cherry Lemonade Trendy Twine was used as an embellishment. I tucked in a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Ice Cream Social (retired) stamp set.  A few die cut stars and some enamel dots were the finishing touch.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

DCWV - Hello Darling Layout

Hello! Today I am sharing a single page 12x12 layout over on the DCWV blog.  I created my layout with the new Blush Stack available at AC Moore. This stack is a beautiful mix of soft pinks and whites with gold foil accents.  When I saw the elegant papers I knew I had to create a layout page.
To create my layout, I layered the speckled pink and gold in the center of the floral page and added a photo mat.  The photo mat was the focal point of lots of embellishments.  The tags were all fussy cut from the tag page which was part of the stack.  I simply added some coordinating washi tape, paper flowers, bling and some twine accents with Posy Trendy Twine.  The trio of flowers were also fussy cut and popped up on foam dots for added dimension.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

The monkey was layered on a handcut flag.  I embellished my flag with some Raspberry Sorbet Trendy Twine and a Chevron Trendy Page Dot.  A few scattered flowers were also added to the flag. The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Designers Choice 2 (retired) stamp set.

Trendy Twine - Enjoy the Little Things Layout

Hello!  Today I have a single page 12x12 layout to share over on the Trendy Twine blog featuring some gorgeous Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine.  The combination of Red, White and Blue twine coordinated perfectly with the papers from the new DCWV Coastal Stack.  The red papers are from the DCWV Textured Border Brights Stack.  Although this is not a patriotic layout, I have a great family picture from 4th of July that I will be adding to this page.
I accented the double tag on my layout with a Chevron Trendy Page Dot and adhered more twine to it.  The twine was also used to accent the sentiment tag, photo mat and banner on my layout.  I cut out a few circles using doily dies and mixed in a few die cut stars.  The finishing touch was a sprinkling of enamel dots.
Remember to check out the gorgeous twine and craft supplies available in the store.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fantastic day!

Let's Veg Out Layout

Today I have a single page layout to share over on the KaDoodle Bug Designs blog.  My layout was inspired by the adorable Shoptastic Cuties - Tomato Cutie and Cucumber Cutie from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I am so happy to have my tomato garden back this summer so I wanted to create a layout page to memorialize it.  I found the perfect papers from the DCWV Watercolor Florals stack to use for my layout.  Looking at the pictures of the layout, the cucumber looks a bit like the hornworms that are often seen around tomato plants.
The tools and sign were cut from the Cricut Freshly Picked cartridge.  The grass along the bottom was punched with the Fiskars Grass punch and the fence was punched with Martha Stewart Fence punch. Some wood grain washi from my stash was used as an accent.  I embellished the tag, sign and tools with a bit of Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine.  The finishing touch was some paper flowers with bling.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Trendy Twine - Memory Keeping

Today we have a special post over on the Trendy Twine blog to share some "memory keeping" projects.  My favorite way to keep memories is to create layout pages.  I can get lost in my craft room for hours just playing with paper and embellishments.  I love having scrapbooks to look through with so many memories of my family.  For my project, I created a single page layout with the new DCWV Boho Style Stack.  This paper has a lot of pretty copper accents.
The papers coordinated perfectly with the Totally Pumpkin Trendy Twine.  I used the twine to accent my photo mat, the sentiment tag and the journaling tag.  I love the texture twine adds to my projects. I also used a Trendy Page Dot to accent my journaling tag.  A bit of copper and white washi was adhered along the top of the page and also to the bottom of the photo mat.  A few sparkly gems were sprinkled at the top of my layout page and also to the centers of the flowers on the sentiment tag.
Please head over to the Trendy Twine blog to check out all of the amazing projects created by my design team sisters.  Also, remember to check out the gorgeous twine and craft supplies available in the store.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a happy and safe 4th of July!

DCWV - July Stack-a-holic Challenge

Hello, there's a new Stack-a-holic Challenge over at DCWV for July.  There's a new challenge every month with both a card sketch and a layout sketch.  I was inspired by the layout sketch and created this single page layout with the new Minty Lace stack available at AC Moore.  I just love the soft mints and pinks combined with the black and white papers. The background with the ampersand pattern is so awesome, although it's a tad difficult to see the mint and pink ampersands.  I'm also loving the sentiment tags which make it so easy to create a layout page. The tag I used for the title is one of my favorites, such a lovely reminder!
I added a few embellishments from my stash to accent my layout page. I tucked in a black doily and adorned it with the same bling that I used for the flower centers.  My photo mats were embellished with some Black Licorice Trendy Twine for a pop of color against the pale pink.  A bit of washi tape was used to decorate the smile tag and more washi was used to represent the chevrons in the sketch. A sprinkling of pink enamel dots was the finishing touch on my layout page.
Here is the layout sketch for the Stack-a-holic challenge which inspired my layout page:
Here is the card sketch for card makers:
More details will be available a bit later today so remember to head on over to DCWV to check out the design team projects and to enter this month's challenge for a chance to win a DCWV stack. Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fantastic day!
