Sending you Christmas Blessings

Happy Friday!  Today I'm sharing a CAS card which was created with the Gina Marie Designs Cardinal Embossing Folder.  I embossed some Core'dinations card stock and used my sanding block to rough up the card stock and really make the image pop.
I stamped a simple sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Winter Wishes (retired) stamp set and surrounded the sentiment with some Sophisticated Gloss Enamel Dots.  A bit of Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine was the perfect finishing accent on my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Here Comes Santa Claus

Hello!  Today I have a fun project to share created with some papers from the Momenta "All Through the Year" paper pad.  I cut out an oversized envelope with my electronic die cutter and lined it with some coordinating paper.
I tucked in a doily cut from the Momenta Doily Cutting Template. The tags were cut from the Momenta (Art-C) Love, Hello, Thanks stamp and die set.  I embellished one of my tags with a Trendy Page Dot.  I also used some Cranberry Trendy Twine for the tags, buttons and for wrapping the envelope.
The stickers are from the Momenta Christmas Messages sticker sheet.  A few die cut snowflakes were added as decorative elements.  I added a Chevron bag to my envelope so I can tuck in a gift card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Oriental Trading - Snowmen

Hello!  Today I have another holiday decor project using some amazing products from Oriental Trading.  I saw some similar ideas on Pinterest and was completely inspired to create my own version of these adorable snowmen.
I started my project with the Mini Wood Blocks and sanded them a bit for a smooth finish.  Next I used the white Acrylic Paint to paint each of the wood blocks.  While my paint was drying, I cut out some burlap for the snowman hats.  Next, I stamped each of the snowmen faces with the Peachy Keen Candy Cane Assortment face stamps.  A bit of chalk was added to the cheeks of the snowmen.
The burlap was adhered to each of the blocks with an adhesive tape runner and tied with a bit of jute to create the hat.  I decorated the hats with some buttonsjingle bells and more jute.
Since my snowmen looked a bit plain, I added a couple of more buttons to each of the snowmen.  I used my Glue Dots to secure the buttons to each of the wood blocks.  The snowmen were sealed with some Mod Podge
Head on over to Oriental Trading to check out the items used on my project and for other holiday decor items.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

Merry & Bright

Hello! Today I'm sharing a Christmas card created with some fun dies from my stash. The deer at the focal point of my card was cut with the Momenta (Art-C) Southwestern stamp and die set.  I used some sparkly papers for the deer to give him a holiday flair.  I adhered a few die cut snowflakes around the deer and tied a tiny bow in Totally Black Trendy Twine.
Instead of using a stamped sentiment, I added a vellum sticker from the Momenta Christmas Message sticker sheet. The vellum sticker was adhered on some white card stock so it would pop against the plaid background.
Thanks so much for stopping!  Have a spectacular day!

Trendy Twine - From Santa

Hello!  Today I have a Christmas themed project to share over on the Trendy Twine blog.  I started my project with some Mini Candy Cubes which were the perfect size for tucking in some treats.  I wrapped some festive paper around each of the candy cubes.
For the top, I cut out a couple of scalloped circles.  A die cut reindeer was popped up on foam dots on top of each of the circles.  I used a bit of Wink of Stella on the reindeer noses for a sparkly affect and inked the edges for added dimension.
A sentiment from the APB Hello Santa stamp set was stamped on a hand cut flag and adhered to each candy cube.  A tiny jingle bell was tied to each of the cubes with some Holly Trendy Twine.
The products used on my project are available over at Annie's Paper Boutique. Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Oriental Trading - Joy

Hello!  With Christmas approaching right around the corner, I started working on a holiday decor project using some amazing products from Oriental Trading.  This project can also be a fun holiday gift idea.
I started my project with the Mini Wood Blocks and sanded them a bit for a smooth finish.  Next I used the red Acrylic Paint to paint each of the wood blocks.  While my paint was drying, I cut out the "Joy" phrase using my electronic die cutter and some White Cardstock.
I also cut out some rectangles to adhere to the front of my blocks using the Christmas/Winter Paper Pack.  I ensured each rectangle was sized to fit the front of each block. The letters were adhered to each of the rectangles.
Everything was then adhered and sealed with some Mod Podge.  The matte finish gave my blocks a professional appearance.
Head on over to Oriental Trading to check out the items used on my project and for other holiday decor items.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a lovely day!

Next, I stamped the images and sentiments on my tag, watercoloring each image.  I added some Wink of Stella to each of the images for a sparkly effect.  A few sparkly enamel dots complimented the images.  Some Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine was used to accent my tag.  A small wooden button was threaded with the twine as a fun embellishment.

Oriental Trading - Place Setting

Hello! As we are preparing for the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday, Oriental Trading came to the rescue and provided the perfect supplies for my place settings.  Not only did I pick out all of these wonderful products to create each place setting, I will also be able to use the wood plank and burlap table runner on my table for a bit of rustic charm.
I gathered my supplies all from Oriental Trading, trimmed the burlap, folded it over and adhered it using the double-sided tape which created a nice pocket for my utensils.
The burlap leaf shapes were the perfect embellishments for my utensil holder and were adhered with some Glue Dots.  I created the bow topper with a pre-made burlap bow, some jute cording and a wooden button.  A few more Glue Dots on the back of the bow topper secured it on my utensil holder.
This was such a fun and easy project to put together.  I just love the rustic charm of the burlap products which can be found over at Oriental Trading.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

DCWV - November Stack-a-holic Challenge

Hello!  DCWV has a new challenge for November up on their Facebook page.  I was inspired by this month's sketch to create this 12x12 layout page.  All of the paper are from the DCWV Elegant & Serene Stack.  The navy and coral color combination is absolutely gorgeous.  The foil papers also add some elegance to my layout page even though they are a bit hard to see in the pictures.
These papers are so pretty that I didn't need to add much to my layout page.  The cut out pages provided the perfect title and inspirational quote for my layout page.  The photo corners were punched with a Fiskars punch and provided a whimsical accent to my photo mats.  A bit of Totally Navy Trendy Twine provided a fun and coordinating embellishment on my layout page.  A couple of paper flowers were the finishing accents on my layout page.
Here is the layout sketch for this month's challenge:
Head on over to DCWV's Facebook Page for details on how to enter this month's challenge for a chance to win a DCWV stack.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!
