Sending You Sprinkles of Fun

Hello!  Today I have a shaker style card to share created with the new DCWV Good Eats stack.  My card started with the sprinkled theme papers for the base.  Next I die cut some donuts using a die and adhered them on the card base.
The frame was cut with the Scalloped Stitched Frame Set from Gina Marie Designs.  I adhered some foam pop dots around the frame to create the shaker.  A mix of coordinating sequins was sprinkled inside the card.  To finish off my card I added a fun sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Sweet Somethings (retired) stamp set.  The sentiment was adhered on the outside of the acetate.

DCWV - Moment Maker Planner System

Happy Monday!  Today I am sharing a peek inside the front of my DCWV Moment Maker Planner System.  Since I use my planner every day, I am inspired by the fun items as soon as I open it up.
The flags in the upper corner and tiny heart are from the Moment Maker Planner Sticker Sheets and were the inspiration for my planner decor.  I clipped in a simple quote from the word art page in the new DCWV Eclectic Chic Stack.  I adhered some washi tape in the center of the page and cut my name with my Cricut Explore using the DCWV 6x6 Chalk Paper Stack.  A few gold planner clips were also added to my planner.
On the opposite side, I created a large envelope using a sheet of paper from the DCWV DIY Project Stack - Envelopes.  To create my envelope, I simply folded in each of the corners and adhered the bottom flaps with my ATG.  I used my corner rounder for a finished edge.  The inside of the envelope was decorated with a scrap left over from the DCWV Scripts and Music Notes Stack and a doily from the DCWV 6x6 Paper Lace Stack.  A few die cuts were also added to the outside of my envelope along with a coordinating clip.

Easter Card

Hello!  Today I have an Easter card to share which I created to play along with the Spring challenge going on over and Pink & Main.  I used the Pink & Main Seeds of Kindness stamp set for the adorable bunny and used a die to cut out the frame.  A small bow in Totally Black Trendy Twine finished off the frame.
I layered the frame on a couple die cut Stitched Ovals from CottageCutz.  Everything was layered on a base frame cut with Gina Marie Designs Loopy Rectangles Die Set.  I just love being able to combine different dies from my stash to create the perfect layered look.  The base layer papers are from the DCWV Watercolor Ombre stack.

DCWV - Moment Maker Planner System

Hello!  Today I am sharing another project using my new DCWV Moment Maker Planner System. Since this is my work planner, I began customizing it to fit my needs.  I travel for my job and am required to track all of my expenses so the Lifestyle Tracker add on was perfect for my planner. In addition to the expense tracker pages, the Lifestyle Tracker also includes budget pages, a goal tracker and pages for contacts and passwords.
For this project, I used 2 of the new DCWV paper stacks available at Joann stores and online.  The gold foil papers were perfect for using in my planner.  I selected the inspirational word art paper from the Gold Foil stack and some polka dotted paper from the Electic Chic stack to create a planner insert.
The cut file for the planner insert was found on a crafty friend's blog which essentially provides a tab for my monthly expense tracker pages.  I used my Cricut Explore to cut out the heart shaped planner insert, hiding the holes in the original SVG file.  Several decorative strips were cut with my paper trimmer.
The DCWV 6-Hole Punch was used to punch holes on my pieces.  The punch is adjustable and provides a precision guide making it easy for the holes to line up.
Everything was adhered using my ATG. The planner insert has just enough peek through at the top to serve as a tab.
The finished tab with all of the gold foiling and inspirational words is not only functional but also beautiful with a bit of elegance!  I just love looking at pretty things even if it's for work purposes.
You can head on over to Melin's blog to check out her planner post and to pick up the planner insert files!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fantastic day!

Oriental Trading - Easter Treat Jars

Hello!  Today I am sharing some Easter Treat Jars using products from Oriental Trading.  I went with a simple approach to alter my plain treat jars using Easter themed papers.  These papers are a very heavy weight and are double sided so they are perfect for all kinds of crafts.
To create my project, I trimmed the paper at 7.25 inches using my Fiskars SureCut Paper Trimmer.  I inserted the paper inside the jar and then added a 3 inch belly band around the outside of the jar.  All of the papers were securely adhered to the jars with some Glue Dots.  The Glue Dots provided the perfect amount of adhesive on my project.
Using the die cut sheet from the same paper pad, I created a couple of tags for my treat jars.  I started my tag with a simple white scalloped circle using a die and layered it with the die cuts.  A small ribbon bow was tied to each tag.  More Glue Dots were used to adhere the tags, lid toppers and the paper handles to each jar.
I created a coordinating card with the left over papers.  The base of my card was cut out with some dies to add a finishing touch to my card.  I adhered the easter basket on top of the white oval so the colors would pop.
I hoped you enjoyed checking out my projects using my new goodies from Oriental Trading. These items are available in the Scrapbooking & Paper Crafting Store and the Craft Supplies Store from Oriental Trading. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

This review is based strictly on my opinion.  I was provided the samples free of charge by Oriental Trading to provide my honest review.  No other type of compensation was received.  All ideas and opinions are my own.

May Your Wishes Come True

Hello!  Today I am sharing a sweet Easter tag created with the DCWV Garden Charm Stack.  I used a tag die which I recently purchase from eBay to cut the base layers.  Next I cut out a doily using another one of my eBay dies and adhered them together.
The bunny was cut from the Pink & Main Seeds of Kindness stamp set and the sentiment is from the Pink & Main Dandelion Wishes stamp set.  A small bow in Grape Fizz Trendy Twine was the finishing touch on my tag.
Thanks so much for stopping!  Have a fantastic day!

DCWV - Moment Maker Planner System

Happy Monday! I have a fun post to share today featuring the new DCWV Moment Maker Planner System available at Joann stores.  I just got this beauty and adore so many things about it!
I have always used a planner system even when they were not cool.  I remember pulling out a planner in a meeting a few years ago only to be the brunt of some jokes amongst my colleagues. Things certainly have changed over the last several years.  I'm happy to report that now I am one of the cool kids with this gorgeous planner from DCWV.
The Paris theme cover is a gorgeous neutral fabric with a detailed print.  I love that the closure is magnetic.  This is such a charming cover not only for crafty planners but can also be used in a professional setting which is how I will be using mine!
Once opened, the planner lays completely flat.  The inside panel of this 6 ring binder system has 3 different pockets to tuck in all of those important items.  The gold binder rings add a touch of elegance which coordinates with the monthly titles and dividers.  I personally prefer the binder rings over coils so this was an added bonus for me.  The pen holder is another great feature of this planner system.
The starter kit includes monthly inserts, monthly gold foiled dividers (with a variety of designs, see below for a sample).  The gold sheet of stickers on the left in the above picture is also included in the starter kit.
Not only do I love the gold foiled monthly titles but the boxes are lined!  This really help me focus and simplify my day.  I basically write down what's important and can easily see how my day is structured.  The add on daily and weekly pages will be fun for decorating especially with some pretty papers from my DCWV stacks.
The great part of the Moment Maker Planner System is that it's customizable even with different covers.  There are several items available for purchase including stickers, the "stuff pouch", weekly inserts, and notebooks for different purposes.  The other add on items include daily and weekly planner pages, an expense tracker and a meal tracker.  DCWV offers a gorgeous gold planner punch and some fun stamps as part of this system.  The pocket pages shown below are included in the starter kit.
I am very excited about showing off the DCWV Moment Maker Planner System.  You will see it featured on my blog over the next several weeks as I begin to personalize it and make it functional for my needs. Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Mini Card Set

Hello!  Today I have a set of mini cards to share.  I used papers from the DCWV Copper Luxury stack.  The embellishments for my card are from the DCWV DIY Project Stack - Tags.  I love that these stacks coordinate so it is easy to mix and match the papers.
To create my cards I used some square stitched dies from my stash and layered each with some hand cut flags and sentiments.
A few scattered embellishments with gold accents brought a bit of elegance to each of the cards.  I added some Totally White Trendy Twine to the mini tag on my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fantastic day!

DCWV - March Stack-a-holic Challenge

Hello!  It's the beginning of the month and that means it's time for another challenge over at DCWV! I created a card for the challenge using papers from the new DCWV Watercolor Ombre stack.  The light to dark shades of color in this stack are simply gorgeous and the fact that the papers are double sided makes it a must have stack.
For my card, I cut the base with the Scalloped Stitched Nested Rectangle Dies from Gina Marie Designs and embossed it with the Cuttlebug Decorative Tiles embossing folder.
I used a simple flower die to create the 3D flowers.  Each layer of flower was inked on the edges for added dimension.  It took a bit of rolling and manipulating of the paper to form the perfect flowers.  I added a bling sticker to the center as an accent.  The back side of the polka dotted paper was used for the punched greenery.  A sentiment from the Pink & Main Dandelion stamp set finished off my card.
Here is the card sketch for this month's challenge:
Here is the layout sketch:

Craftwell - Spring Wishes Tag

Happy Monday! Today I have a Spring themed tag to share over on the Craftwell blog.  I am always amazed how the eBrush and Cut 'n' Boss machines can bring a simple kraft tag to life.
I started my project off with die cutting a simple kraft tag from the new DCWV 6x6 Kraft stack and embossed it with the Craftwell Checkered Argyle embossing folder.
I used my eBrush to shade the edges of the tag with a few different colors for depth and dimension. The same colors were used to shade the die cuts for my tag.
I stamped a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Walking on Sunshine (retired) stamp set and laid out my die cuts.  Once I was happy with the placement, I adhered the die cuts with some Glue Dots.
To finish off my tag, I added an additional branch, some bling stickers to each of the flowers and some Totally Pumpkin Trendy Twine.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderfully crafty day!

Happy Driver Layout

Today I have a fun layout page to share which was created with the Cricut Design Space Access using several different cartridges.  Most of the cuts came from the Cars, Locker Talk and Street Sign cartridges.  The background papers for my layout are from the DCWV DIY Project Stack Envelopes. The dark grey pattern and the ombre yellow were perfect for these pages.
I have several pictures of my kids driving and finally felt inspired to create a page for the pictures.  I tucked in a journaling tag and stamped it with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Ticket to Adventure (retired) stamp set.  I embellished the tag with a trendy page dot and some Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine.
The die cuts were accented with a white gel pen.  I added a couple of brads to the title of my layout and to the wheels of the car.  A few scattered enamel dots finished off my layout page.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!
