Happy Birthday Card

Hello!  Today I have a simple birthday card to share which I created for my daughter.  I wanted something fun and sparkly for her so I used the Momenta Happy Birthday Cut and Emboss set for the background, sentiment and stars on my card.
Once I embossed the background of my card, I masked it off with a die cut circle and inked the edges with some Oxide Inks. Next I adhered the birthday sentiment in the center of the circle and sprinkled the die cut stars and sequins around the sentiment.

Traveler's Journal

Hello! Today I have a fun project to share created with some new products from Momenta's Explorer Journal line.  I will be using my journal as a traveler's journal for documentation.  I love the fun, sparkly cover with the functionality of the inserts.
I used the DCWV Stateside stack to cover the insert pockets and die cut a banner with a Momenta die and layered it with some Momenta stickers which were also used on the tags inside the insert.  All of the tags are from the DCWV Maps, Text, Ledgers stack and were tucked in place with some Momenta Star Clips. This insert will be so perfect for keeping all of my travel mementos organized.

Celebrate Card

Hello!  Today I have a fun and festive card to share created with some dies from Gina Marie Designs.  I used the hexagon dies to cut out the design on solid white card stock and then placed the patterned hexagons into the solid frame.
The sentiment is from a stamp set I picked up at Joann craft store in the $2 product section.  The font is so fun I couldn't resist it.  The finishing accent on my card was a few coordinating enamel dots.

Happy Day Tags

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a set of yummy tags created with the new Momenta Junk Food Cutting Template.  I must admit ice cream is one of my favorites so I was immediately inspired to use this fun die.
I used the Art-C Adhesive Stencil along with some Oxide Inks to create the background of my tag.  Next I used the Art-C Love, Hello, Thanks Die & Stamp Combo for the sentiment and tag.  The ice cream cones were popped up on foam dots for added dimension.  I finished off my tags with some Black Licorice Trendy Twine.

Hope Layout

Hello! Today I have another layout page to share which was created with the DCWV Rose Quartz stack. This 12x12 page is essentially my second page to another layout I had created.  I am loving the subtle colors in this stack and have used it for a few projects.
I used several different dies to cut out the various flowers, tags, banners and doily for my layout page.   The photo corners were punched with a Fiskars punch.  The arrow word title is a SVG file which was cut with my Cricut Explore.  A few scattered sequins and a bit of Totally White Trendy Twine were the finishing touches on my layout page.

Thank You Card

Hello and happy Monday!  Over the weekend, I gave my blog an updated look with cleaner lines.  I was trying to achieve a more sophisticated and easy to read style.  Please let me know what you think.  I'm sure it will be a work in progress.
For today's project, I used the Momenta "So Sweet" stamp set and some Tsukineko inks to stamp the images for the background of my card.  I did a bit of masking so the images could be layered in the different colors. Once I had my background created, I simply stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set.  A Momenta die was used to cut out the banner shape of the sentiment.

Seagulls Card

Hello! Today I have a card to share which is definitely out of my comfort zone with all of the different inks I used.  I used the Seagulls Variety Die Set, Nested - Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies and Nested - Scalloped Stitched Rectangles all from Gina Marie Designs.
I created the background using lots of different Distress Inks watercoloring and blending until I achieved the look I wanted.  I layered the background with the sweet seagulls and stamped some cattails along the edges.  A few Sophisticated Gloss enamel dots were the finishing accents on my card.
