Love Layout

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a super bright and cheery layout created with the DCWV Glam Rhinestone Stack.  I needed bold colors to compliment my picture so these papers worked perfectly.  The yellow patterned paper and yellow tag are from the Recollections Spelendiferous paper pad.

I did a lot of fussy cutting of the flowers on my layout and popped several of the flowers on foam pop dots for added dimension.  I also die cut several smaller flowers to incorporate into my floral frame.  I used lots of bling amongst the flowers.  Some Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine was added to the photo mat.  The "love" and "smile" sentiments are from the same paper pads.

Favorite Moments Layout

Hello!  I finally had the opportunity to work on some layout pages which is my true passion.  I can get lost for hours playing with all of the elements on a layout page.  I find it very relaxing creating the embellishments for my pages.  For this 12x12 page, I die cut each of the flowers, inked them and layered them.  I was careful not to make them too bulky for my album.

The background papers are from the DCWV Pocket Blossom stack and the striped papers are from the DCWV Basics and Brights Stack.  The "favorite moments" sentiments is from We R Memory Keepers and the "beautiful" sentiment is from the Momenta Best Friends Stamp set.  A few die cut butterflies and an arrow were the finishing accents on my layout page.

Everything's Going Awesome Layout

Hello! I was inspired by the DCWV challenge on their Facebook page to create this layout page.  I took the card sketch and changed it to a layout page.  The papers are from the DCWV Floral Paradise stack. The tropical papers and colors are so gorgeous in this stack.

I simply added a few die cut embellishments to my layout page.  Some Grape Licorice Trendy Twine was the perfect accent color.  A few sprinkled sequins coordinated with the gold in the background of my layout page.

My Journey Layout

Today I have a layout page to share which I created for some pictures of my son.  Over the past couple of years, he began his health and fitness journey and has completely changed his lifestyle. I thought a layout would be the perfect way to memorialize the changes he has made.

I found the perfect papers in the DCWV Summer Stack, it's a few years old however has some great patterns.  I used my Cricut Explore and a bunch of different cartridges in Design Space for all of the die cuts and title.

The photo mats were accented with some chevron washi tape.  Since I was trying to stick with a masculine theme, I had to refrain from using too many embellishments.

Giggle Laugh Layout

Hello!  Today I have a layout page to share which may look a bit familiar to this one.  I ended up creating a second page since I loved these papers so much.  They are from the DCWV Minty Lace Stack and I just love the color combination even though it's a departure from my normal bright and cheery color combinations.

The adorable "Giggle, Laugh" was perfect for tucking under the photo mats.  I accented both of my tags with a bit of Black Licorice Trendy Twine.  A couple of paper flowers, a die cut arrow and some washi tape were used as embellishments.

Splash Layout

Hello! Today I have a double page layout to share created with the DCWV Watercolor Ombre Stack. The papers are a beautiful mix of patterns, some with iridescent treatments.

I used my Cricut Explore for the sea life on my layout page.  The smaller seahorse were embossed with the Cuttlebug Tiny Bubbles embossing folder.  The water border was punched with the Fiskars Boundary Waters Border punch and embossed with the Cuttlebug Chuck embossing folder.  

I tucked in a couple of tags behind the photo mat for journaling.  I added some coordinating flowers and bling as embellishments on my layout page.

Happy Birthday Card

Today I have a bright and cheery birthday card to share.  I used the DCWV Birthday Wishes stack to create my card.  I die cut the base of my card with the pretty, holographic chevron,  The strips of paper were adhered to the base of my card with with my favorite Glue Dots Adhesive Gluetape.

Next, I die cut the circle using the Cottage Cutz Circle die.  I fussy cut the birthday banners and adhered them to the die cut circle.  A bit of Limeade Trendy Twine was used to accent the banner.

Explorer Journal Pages

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a peek inside my Momenta Explorer Journal.  I created an insert pocket with a Momenta bag and embellished it with a fun Momenta tag and stamped sentiment which was clipped with a Momenta Gold Star Shaped Clip.  On the opposite page, I used a Momenta Metal Binder clip to hold my journal pages together.  The papers and tags are from the DCWV Maps, Text, Ledgers stack.

The stickers are from the Momenta Vellum Shaped Message Stickers Pad.  A Momenta stencil was used for the sentiment on the tag and for the globe.  I cut out the tags with the Art-C Love, Hello, Thanks Stamp & Die Combo.

Celebrate Layout

Hello! I was able to hide out in my craft room recently to work on an album for a wedding gift.  I will be sharing a few page from the album over the next couple of weeks.  Since I am working on an entire album I went with an 8x8 size in a neutral theme.

For the cover page of the album, I used the DCWV Everlasting Love stack for the papers, Momenta Wedding theme stickers, a couple of Momenta dies, Trendy Twine and some amazing Glue Dots products.

I had the opportunity to try out the Glue Dots Pop Up Dots which may now be my most favorite Glue Dots product.  I have always loved the Glue Dots Adhesive Tape for its strength and adherence but the Pop Up Dots provide the perfect dimension.  I love that they are clear.  I simply added some baby powder to the back of the Momenta Wedding Stickers and added the Pop Up Dots for dimension.

I tucked in a gorgeous doily behind the photo mat.  The celebrate sentiment is from the Momenta Hello Word Fetti dies.  The Glue Dots Adhesive tape was used to adhere everything in place. The finishing accent was a bit of Midnight Trendy Twine on the photo mat.

Happy Birthday Card

Hello! Today I have a festive birthday card to share which I created for a crafty friend.  I used the DCWV Basics & Brights stack and layered it with a stenciled background created with several different Oxide Ink colors and a Momenta stencil.  The inks were also used for the cupcake and sentiment.

The happy birthday sentiment and cupcake are from the Momenta Happy Birthday Cut and Emboss set.  I popped up the cupcake on foam dots for added dimension.

Explorer Journal Cover Page

Hello!  Today I'm sharing the inside cover of my Momenta Explorer Journal which I covered with papers from the DCWV Maps, Text, Ledgers stack.  I used the Momenta Alphabet Cutting Template and the Momenta Cut & Emboss Arrows set for the title and oversized arrow.

The airplane was added with a Momenta stencil and the word sentiments are from the Momenta Vellum Shaped Message Stickers.  A few enamel dots and a camera sticker were the finishing accents on my cover page.

Traveler's Journal

Hello! Today I have a fun project to share created with some new products from Momenta's Explorer Journal line.  I will be using my journal as a traveler's journal for documentation.  I love the fun, sparkly cover with the functionality of the inserts.

I used the DCWV Stateside stack to cover the insert pockets and die cut a banner with a Momenta die and layered it with some Momenta stickers which were also used on the tags inside the insert.  All of the tags are from the DCWV Maps, Text, Ledgers stack and were tucked in place with some Momenta Star Clips. This insert will be so perfect for keeping all of my travel mementos organized.

Hope Layout

Hello! Today I have another layout page to share which was created with the DCWV Rose Quartz stack. This 12x12 page is essentially my second page to another layout I had created.  I am loving the subtle colors in this stack and have used it for a few projects.

I used several different dies to cut out the various flowers, tags, banners and doily for my layout page.   The photo corners were punched with a Fiskars punch.  The arrow word title is a SVG file which was cut with my Cricut Explore.  A few scattered sequins and a bit of Totally White Trendy Twine were the finishing touches on my layout page.

Hello Darling Layout

Hello crafty friends, today I'm playing along with the DCWV Stack-a-holic challenge over on their Facebook page.  When I saw the sketch I was completely inspired to whip out a layout page.  I used the DCWV Hello Darlin' stack to create my 12x12 page.  I just love the adorable designs in this stack. It's definitely one of the stacks I've been hoarding.

I changed up the sketch just a bit to use the cut out tag for the title of my page.  I also fussy cut the typewriter and tiny envelopes and added them on some pop dots for dimension.  All of the flags were hand cut and layered with some punched flowers using 2 different Fiskars punches.  I accented my photo mat with a bit of Totally Lemon Trendy Twine.

A Bit of Elegance

Hello and Happy Monday!  Today I'm playing along with the DCWV Stack-a-holic Challenge.  I used papers from the Rose Gold 6x6 Stack and the DIY Project Stack which coordinated perfectly. The papers are so elegant and gorgeous that I chose not to add a sentiment to the front of my card.

Once I cut out the base of my card, I added a couple of pre cut tags from the DIY Project Stack. I used the Momenta Romance Die Cutting Templates for the heart and arrow die cuts.  I'm loving the non-traditional colors of this card for Valentine's Day.

May All Your Wishes Come True

Hello!  Today's card was inspired by the gorgeous gray and blue papers in the DCWV Winter Mat Stack.  I used the Gina Marie Designs Mitten Die Set and layered the mittens on the Loopy Oval Die Set.  The base of my card was cut from the Double Stitched In and Out Cut Rectangle Die Set, also from Gina Marie Designs.

I used a single Ocean Sparkle Enamel Dot to accent the mittens.  A bit of coordinating Stickles were also added to the mittens.  A small bow in Blue Berry Trendy Twine was the perfect accent on my card.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Winter Wishes (retired) stamp set.

Trendy Twine - Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!  Today the Trendy Twine has joined together to share some amazing Thanksgiving projects.  For my card, I used the DCWV Autumn Splendor stack for the base of my card.  I loved all of the different patterns on the paper so I kept the background fairly simple.

I created a simple rosette using some coordinating polka dotted paper. The rosette was layered with a die cut tag which was stamped with a sentiment from the APB Happy Thanksgiving stamp set.  A wooden button and a twine bow in Orange Truffle Trendy Twine was the finishing accent on my card.

DCWV - November Stack-a-holic Challenge

Hello!  DCWV has a new challenge for November up on their Facebook page.  I was inspired by this month's sketch to create this 12x12 layout page.  All of the paper are from the DCWV Elegant & Serene Stack.  The navy and coral color combination is absolutely gorgeous.  The foil papers also add some elegance to my layout page even though they are a bit hard to see in the pictures.

These papers are so pretty that I didn't need to add much to my layout page.  The cut out pages provided the perfect title and inspirational quote for my layout page.  The photo corners were punched with a Fiskars punch and provided a whimsical accent to my photo mats.  A bit of Totally Navy Trendy Twine provided a fun and coordinating embellishment on my layout page.  A couple of paper flowers were the finishing accents on my layout page.

Trendy Twine - Happy Halloween

Hello!  Today I have a Halloween card to share over on the Trendy Twine blog.  The shaker part of my card was cut with a die and trimmed to the 3 piece frame.  I simply adhered the letters and sequins to create the shaker.  I used a couple of punches from my stash for the grass and fence at the bottom of my card.

The Batty Sequins were adhered to the base of my card.  I stamped a sentiment from the APB Happy Halloween stamp set.  My card was finished off with some Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine.

Hello Friend

Hello!  Today I have a Halloween treat box to share.  I used the Momenta Stamp & Die-Cut, Gable Box to cut out my box.  The Jack o latern face was punched with an EK Success punch.  I'm loving this Gable Box die, it is super easy to put together to create a fun and festive treat box.  The papers are from the DCWV Fall & Halloween Basics Stack.

I tucked in some treats and tied the box with some Orange Licorice Trendy Twine.  The sentiment is from the same Momenta set and was stamped on a White Metal Rim Tag.  The contrast of the white tag adds some interest to this CAS project!
