Craftwell - Lunch Box Notes

Happy Monday! I have a set of lunch box notes to share today over on the Craftwell blog.  I thought these would be a fun project idea to slip into lunch boxes with some happy thoughts for the day.
To create my note cards I simply ran some papers from the DCWV Watercolor Ombre stack through my Cut 'n' Boss using a shaped die.  I stamped the lines onto the die cut to make the writing easier.
Next, I chose to cut some veggies with my electronic die cutter for a fun twist to the lunch box notes.
The eBrush was used to add a shaded effect to each of the die cut pieces.  I used my Sharpies in the eBrush to add the perfect amount of depth and dimension to each piece.
Here is a before and after picture of my die cuts, the transformation is amazing.  Just a bit of shading using the eBrush adds so much character to the die cuts.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

Let's Veg Out Layout

Today I have a single page layout to share over on the KaDoodle Bug Designs blog.  My layout was inspired by the adorable Shoptastic Cuties - Tomato Cutie and Cucumber Cutie from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I am so happy to have my tomato garden back this summer so I wanted to create a layout page to memorialize it.  I found the perfect papers from the DCWV Watercolor Florals stack to use for my layout.  Looking at the pictures of the layout, the cucumber looks a bit like the hornworms that are often seen around tomato plants.
The tools and sign were cut from the Cricut Freshly Picked cartridge.  The grass along the bottom was punched with the Fiskars Grass punch and the fence was punched with Martha Stewart Fence punch. Some wood grain washi from my stash was used as an accent.  I embellished the tag, sign and tools with a bit of Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine.  The finishing touch was some paper flowers with bling.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

I wrapped my frame with some Orange Truffle Trendy Twine and added a punched leaf along with a button.  A small hand cut flag with a sentiment from the Craftin Desert Diva's Happy Celebrations stamp set was added along the bottom.

Oh Snap Layout

Today I am sharing a layout which I created last year and never shared on my blog.  This double page layout was created using 4 different cartridges.  Opposites Attract for the title, Mickey and Friends for the film strip, Freshly Picked for the Polaroid frames and Pack Your Bags for the cameras.
I created an accent border at the top and bottom of the photo mats which was punched with the Fancy Flight EK Success punch.
The film strip was cut so it could be used as an accent on both pages of my layout.  I added a solid white background to the film strip.
The title was welded together using my Gypsy.  A few sentiments were added on hand cut flags.  The sentiments are from the Scrappy Moms Picture Perfect stamp set.
A hand cut flag embellished with Black Licorice Trendy Twine and a metal camera was added to the layout.
The Polaroid frames were left open on top so pictures could easily slide in.  Some bling was added to a couple of the frames and a journaling tag was tucked in behind one of the frames.
A couple of cameras finished off my layout.  The camera on the left was created using the negative pieces from the camera on the right.

Craftin Desert Diva's "Halloween" Linky Party

Welcome to another Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party.  The theme for this linky party is "Halloween."  For my project I created a fun Halloween card.
I used the Mini Monsters cartridge for the ghost and stamped his face with a Peachy Keen face stamp. I used some Stickles for a sparkly effect.  The frame was cut from the Freshly Picked cartridge and I added a border punched from the Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch.  The spider web is also punched from a Martha Stewart punch.  A coordinating bow in Trick or Treat Trendy Twine was added to the frame.  The sentiment is from the Craftin Desert Diva's Frightfully Cute stamp set.

Moments to Treasure Layout

This super bright layout was created with a couple of challenges in mind, one challenge required using at least 3 different patterned papers.  I used the Freshly Picked cartridge for the polaroid frames.  I accented the frames with some flowers, hand cut flags and washi tape.  I plan to add a couple of smaller pictures to the polaroid frames.
A small mat stamped with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Picture Perfect stamp set was added as the title of the layout.  I used a doily as an attempt to neutralize the bright colors of the layout.  A small banner created from hand cut flags and Pink Limeade Trendy Twine was adhered to the corner.
I tucked in a small journaling tag embellished with some coordinating ribbon, a flower and a twine bow.  A star punched from the Martha Stewart Bright Star punch was layered under the flower.

Scrappy Moms Guest Designer - Birthday Girl Card

Happy Friday, I am honored to be a guest designer for Scrappy Moms for their November stamp release.  There are two new stamp sets being released today along with a set of Die-namics dies.  They are all so fabulous and available now for purchase.

I have a project to share which features all three of these products.  I created this fun birthday card for a friend of mine whose birthday is in a couple of days.
The focal point of my card is the Polaroid frame which was cut from the Freshly Picked cartridge.  The Birthday Girl sentiment was stamped from the "Birthday Hugs" stamp set.  I used the Die-namics "Say What" die and stamped the "Pssst…" sentiment from the "Just Sayin" stamp set on to the word bubble. I added another sentiment from the "Birthday Hugs" stamp set to some pink card stock.  All three of the sentiments seemed to work perfectly together.  My card was finished off with a paper flower and a button along with a twine bow in Cotton Candy Trendy Twine.
Aren't these new stamp sets so fun?  I love how they can be used together along with the dies.  Stop by Scrappy Moms to get yours today!  Remember to stop by my blog all next week for more projects with the November stamp release!

My Gnomies Layout

Today I have a fun layout to share featuring these cute little gnomes from the Freshly Picked cartridge. The title was cut from Lyrical Letters and the circle and scalloped circle were cut from Elegant Edges.
Ever since I bought this cartridge I have wanted to create a layout with it but could not figure out any kind of theme.  I finally thought it would be fun to play on the word "homies" and substitute in "gnomies."
I added a coordinating circle and scalloped circle to the background of my layout and kept my photo mats very neutral.  I used Twisted Lime Trendy Twine to embellish the photo mats.
I also used some more twine to create a path for the felt ladybugs on my layout.
The layout was embellished with lots of paper flowers in coordinating colors with bling and pearl centers.
The gnomes got a little bit of chalk for their cheeks and lots of stickles as an embellishment.
I can't wait to use these cartridge again, I just love these cute little guys and am very pleased with they turned out for my layout.
