Craftin Desert Divas "Mother's Day" Linky Party

Welcome to another Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party.  The theme is Mother's Day so I created this card using the From My Kitchen cartridge for the apron.  The apron was embellished with some Stickles along the top and bottom edges and also on the pockets.

I added some ribbon to the center of the apron and attached a small twine bow in Totally Sky Trendy Twine.  I tucked in a sentiment from the Craftin Desert Diva's Sugar & Spice stamp set by masking off the "my" off of "mommy".  A few coordinating pearl stickers finished off my card.

Baked with Love Layout

I created this layout for some pictures of my kids actually baking in the kitchen so of course I had to memorialize the special day.

For this layout I used the Quarter Note cartridge for the title and From my Kitchen for all of the other die cuts.

I used my white gel pen to do lots of doodling and stitching on each of the die cuts and on the photo mats.  The corners of the photo mats were rounded off with a corner rounder punch.

The title was popped up on foam dots to give it some extra dimension and to keep it from blending into the patterned card stock.

The apron and glove were embellished with the Houndstooth Cuttlebug embossing folder and finished off with just an accent of Posy Trendy Twine.

The oven received some little pearl sticker buttons as a finishing touch.
