Love Layout

My Valentine themed layout was created using the ABC Blocks cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The cutting file was used for the "love" title and for the bear.  I used the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge to add the scalloped heart to the block the bear is holding.
The edges of the border were punched with the Beaded Arcs Martha Stewart punch.  Some washi from my stash embellished the top and bottom of the border and I finished it off with some felt flowers.
A journaling tag was tucked in behind the photo mat .  The tag was embellished with some Cranberry Trendy Twine and a "Pink & Red Double Dot" Trendy Page Dot.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Crazy for You stamp set and was added to a file folder tab.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Craftin Desert Diva's "Anything Goes" Linky Party

Welcome to another Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party.  The theme for this linky party is anything goes.  For my project I created a double page 12x12 layout.
This layout was created using four cartridges; Holiday Cakes for the doily, Cricut Essentials for the flourishes, Gypsy Wanderings for the title and Flower Shoppe for all of the flowers.  All of the die cuts were inked on the edges.  The Textile Cuttlebug embossing folder was used on the flag and title for added dimension.  Coordinating twine bows made from Nautical Trendy Twine were used as an embellishment.
The flag was hand cut, embossed and embellished with some crinkle ribbon and flowers.  Each of the flowers were accented with Stickles for the center.
The layout was finished off with this hand cut tag which was punched with the Fiskars Scalloped Daisy Embossing punch on one end.  A coordinating button was added to the tag.
We have some awesome sponsors for this linky party:

Moments Layout

This layout was created using several different paper elements layered on top of one another without die cuts.
The title was cut from the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge.  I simply added bling stickers to the center of the title.
The EK Success Morocco Lace border punch was used to create a border at the top and bottom of the layout.
A piece of coordinating ribbon was used on the corner of the layout as an embellishment.
The flag was hand cut and accented with In the Navy Trendy Twine and a paper flower with a bling center.
The tag was also hand cut.  The sentiments were cut from coordinating paper and adhered to the tag.
The banner was created using a circle punch and folding the pieces in half over a piece of twine.

True Love Layout

This single page layout was created using Gypsy Wanderings for the title, Holiday Cakes for the doily and Flower Shoppe for the flowers.
The Martha Stewart Doily Lace border punch was used on the top and bottom of the layout.  Lemon Tart Trendy Twine was used to accent the flower banners.
The negative piece from the heart in the title was outlined with Nautical Trendy Twine and used as an embellishment.
The flags were cut by hand to create the banner along the bottom of the photo mat.  Some more twine was used to adhere the banner together.

Smile Layout

This layout was originally designed to be a single page layout, however, I added a symmetrical page to make it a double page layout with two photo mats.
The title was cut from the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge and the flowers from the Flower Shoppe cartridge.
The title was cut twice and adhered with foam pop dots between the two layers for added dimension.  A flower from my stash was added to the title.
The chipboard sentiment came from my stash and was added to a hand cut flag.  Most of the cuts were inked on the edges.
The flowers were also popped up on foam dots and embellished with a bling center.  Blue Berry Trendy Twine was added to create a stem for the flowers.
Another hand cut flag was added to the second page of the layout and finished off with a triple twine bow.
The scalloped circles around the photo mats were punched from a 1 inch scallop punch.

Lucky To Be Me Wall Art

Today I am sharing an altered frame that I created for my daughter's room.   I bought this frame from the dollar section at Michaels.  Originally, it was black so I painted the frame white and then cut strips of glitter paper which were decoupaged onto the front of the frame.  I stapled coordinating sheer ribbon to the back to hang the frame.
After finishing off the outside of the frame I removed the glass and added some patterned paper as the background.  I used Cotton Candy Stickles to outline the flowers on the patterned paper.  Then I added pearl stickers to the center of the flowers.
Next I layered a strip of brown card stock on top of the patterned paper which was punched with a Martha Stewart punch and finished off with some sheer ribbon and a bow.  I also added a heart doily to the background.
The shoe and layer were cut at 4.0 inches from the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge and the title was cut at 1.5 inches from the Gypsy Font cartridge.  All of the die cuts were popped up on foam for added dimension.  I added a coordinating paper flower and a couple of pearls to the shoe as embellishments.
I cut two layers for the title to create extra dimension.  I offset the bottom layer which is cut in white to create the extra shadow.
I am entering this project in the Jinger Adams design team call.  Jinger is coming out with her own product line and her own shoe line and she and The Scrapbooking Queen are looking for designers for the new product line.

Ornament

Today I am sharing this two piece plastic ornament which was purchased from Michaels.  This ornament was inspired by Goody Bag Diva, she has a great tutorial on her blog.  I created this ornament with a glitter paper background which is a circle cut at 3.05 inches from the George and Basic Shapes cartridge.  The circle fits securely between the two ornament halves.
I simply added the snowman scene to the glitter circle background.  The snowman is from the Joys of the Season cartridge cut at 2.3 inches.  The snowman had a broom in his hand but I hid that feature with my Gypsy since the ornament has very little space in it.  The two trees are cut from the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge at 2.5 inches.  I used my white gel pen to the tips of the trees for a snowy affect.
I finished off my snowman scene with some pearl buttons, some sparkly snowflakes which are stickers from my stash and some quilt batting for the snow.  I also used a black gel pen for the eyes and mouth of the snowman.
I tied a bow made out of tulle at the top of the ornament.
