Lucky Card

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!  I have a quick card to share which was created using the Create a Critter Cartridge for the title, Wild Card for the envelope and Indie Art for the Shamrocks.  I added Stickles to some of the Shamrocks and to the title.
The background of the card was embossed with the Darice St. Pat's Background embossing folder.  I added some Limeade Trendy Twine on the edge of my card and finished it off with a bow.

Trendy Twine Design Day - Lucky Hat

Today is my design day over at Trendy Twine and we are incorporating Limeade and/or Totally Limeade on our projects, both of which are on sale this month.  For my project, I created a Saint Patrick's Day hat card cut from the Designer's Calendar cartridge and welded together. The shamrocks were cut from Indie Art.  I only have a sneak peek for you on my blog so pop over to Trendy Twine to check out my project.
I wrapped some coordinating ribbon around the hat and added my glittery shamrock, a chevron button and a double bow in Totally Limeade.  For the center of the hat I used the negative piece of the shamrock and wrapped some Limeade twine around a piece of card stock which was adhered to the back.  Another small button with twine was added to the hat.  I finished off my card with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Crazy for You stamp set which was partially masked off. Hope you will come join our monthly challenge.  Remember to check out the store for all of your craft needs.

Lucky Treat

Today I have a quick Saint Patrick's Day treat to share.  The shamrock was cut from the Indie Art cartridge and stamped with the Happy Lashes Peachy Keen Face stamp.  I added a cute little twine bow in Limeade Trendy Twine and accented it with a flower and a gold bling center.
My cute little shamrock was finished off with a ribbon bow, bling and a fun sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Crazy for You stamp set.  The sentiment was partially masked off and added to a hand cut flag.

Trendy Twine Group Design Day - Lucky Layout

Today is our group design day over at Trendy Twine and we have some fun projects to share following this month's challenge.  I created a layout featuring Totally Limeade Trendy Twine.
My layout was created using the Straight from the Nest cartridge for the title, Jubilee for the tag and Indie Art for the Shamrocks.  I used some flowers punched from a Fiskars punch and added bling centers to them.
My tag was embellished with some sparkly flowers, sequins, and some ribbon.  I tucked in a small sentiment on a hand cut flag.
Remember to join the Trendy Twine challenge going on this month and check out the store for a huge selection of craft products.

SWAK Tag

This oversized tag was cut from the Graphically Speaking cartridge.  "SWAK" was cut from the Out of Character cartridge and the kiss was cut from Indie Art.
I inked the edges of the tag and used lots of glitter glue to embellish the kiss.  I also added some paper flowers with bling centers along with a couple of strips of decorative tape.  The tag was finished off with Twisted Lime and Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine.

Poker Night Layout

Hello everyone, today I am honored to be a guest designer for Liz from Liz's Paper Loft during her time of recovery from her surgery.  Liz is a fabulous designer and has had amazing guest designers over the last few weeks.  I am hoping I can live up to the standard set by Liz and her guest designers. Please remember to leave her some bloggy love and happy thoughts as she recovers.  If you are a regular visitor of my blog, you know that I love creating layouts to memorialize anything and everything.  I decided to create this two page 12x12 layout for my project today.
For this layout I used three different cartridges.  The stack of money and the poker chips were cut from the Father's Day seasonal cartridge at 4.0 inches.  I used Indie Art for the suits cut at 2.5 inches and the tag cut at 4.0 inches.  Black Letter was used for the title which was cut at 2.0 inches.
The die cuts were all popped up on foam dots for added dimension against the patterned background.  I also used my white gel pen to add some doodling to the die cuts and the photo mats.
I created this fun tag using the Game Night stamp set from My Creative Time which just happens to be Emma's favorite stamp of the month.  I stamped the sentiment on the tag in black ink.  Next, I stamped the cards separately in red ink and cut them out and added them to the tag.  I finished off the tag by using some coordinating twine.
I would like to thank Liz for inviting me to be a guest designer and all of you for visiting and supporting my blog.

Liz has some exciting news to share with you, but not quite yet. However, in the meantime, while she's recovering, she is reading every comment!  Not only is she reading them, she's counting them, because at the end of all this, she will have two announcements!  The first will be a winner of some exciting BLOG CANDY!  The second, it's a big one...and no, she's not coming out with stamps...you just have to wait and see!
