Relax Layout

We have had a pretty wet and rainy Spring in Northern California and I am so looking forward to some sun which inspired me to create this layout.  I used the Life Is A Beach cartridge for the die cuts.  I added brackets around the title to highlight it which were cut from the Letter Envy cartridge.
The background paper and the patterned paper for the photo mats had a sheet of coordinating stickers which I incorporated into my layout.  The drink on the chair, the pineapple and the tiki face are all stickers which were popped up on foam dots to create dimension.
The border at the bottom of the layout was torn by hand and inked on the edges to give the appearance of sand on a beach.  I also inked the edges of the photo mat.
The chair was cut twice and offset to create a layer and embellished with Orange Truffle Trendy Twine.  I had seen a picture on Facebook of a beach chair with twine so I scrap lifted the idea.  I absolutely love how the chair looks with the twice accents.
The flip flops were also embellished with Trendy Twine, however I used Chocolate Truffle twine instead.  Some bling finished off the flip flops.

All Dressed Up Layout

I am continuing my week of sharing new projects since I am home from work during my kid's Spring break. This layout was created with the Forever Young cartridge for all of the die cuts with the exception of the flourishes in the corners which were cut from Letter Envy.
The four photo mats for this layout were embossed with the Heritage Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The embossing folders add a nice texture to the layout.
I used lots of bling to embellish this layout to compliment the die cuts including a bling flourish which was added to the title.
A little bit of Grape Fizz Trendy Twine was used on the hat and on the purse handle.

Little Princess Layout

This layout was created to celebrate the birth of my niece who was just born last week.  I used the Sugar and Spice Lite cartridge for all of the cuts with the exception of the monogram "R" which was cut from the Letter Envy cartridge.
I used some patterned paper at the top of the layout which has a solid white border punched with the Martha Stewart Eyelet punch.
The title and the monogram were both cut from glitter paper.  I added the monogrammed "R" to a tag from my stash and embellished it with some bling and Posy Trendy Twine.  The twine was also used throughout the layout.
The die cuts were accented with my white gel pen and popped up on foam dots to create some dimension.

Happy Easter Layout

Today I have a one page 12x12 layout to share which was created for several challenges.  I created this layout with the Easter 2010 Seasonal Cartridge.  All of the cuts on my layout came from the Easter cartridge except for the little flowers which were cut from Letter Envy.
I used my favorite Fiskars grass punch for the grass border at the bottom of the page.
The Easter eggs and bunnies were embellished with Trendy Twine in Strawberry Cupcake, Twisted Lime, Grape Fizz and Blue Berry.  These color combinations were the perfect accent to the Easter eggs and bunnies.
I used my white gel pen to add some doodling to the die cuts and around the page.  The layout was finished off with just a little bit of bling on the flowers and the bow.

Road Trip Layout

Today I have another layout to share which was created using Hello Kitty Greetings, Hello Kitty Font and Letter Envy cartridges.  The car, luggage, butterflies and flowers were cut from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge.  The title was cut from the Hello Kitty Font cartridge and the arrows were cut from Letter Envy.
To break up the patterned background, I added a solid green piece of card stock in the center of the layout which has a border punched with the Fiskars Effervescence border punch.
I used two layers of card stock for the photo mats and layered a strip of patterned card stock from my scraps on top of the photo mats.  They were finished off with some ribbon.
All of the die cuts were popped up on foam for added dimension and embellished with faux stitching and some doodling with my white gel pen.  A little bit of bling was added to the flowers and butterflies.
I used some Halloween Orange Licorice Trendy Twine to accent the luggage pieces and the Hello Kitty car.  The orange and black twine added the perfect accent to the die cuts.

So Sweet Card

Today I am sharing a quick A2 size card that I created using the Mickey and Friends cartridge for the lollipop bouquet, the Letter Envy cartridge for the crest and the Cupcake Lite cartridge for the "So Sweet" sentiment.
I added some patterned paper to the base of my card and layered a piece of black ribbon on top.  All of the die cuts were added using foam pop dots for some dimension.
I used my white gel pen to add some stitching to the crest.  I embellished the lollipops with some Stickles and tied them together with some twine.
The title was embossed with the Mesh Texture Cuttlebug embossing folder and I added Stickles to some of the groves created by the embossing.  The card was finished off with a few pieces of bling.

Love You So Dearly

This Spring time layout was created with a couple of older cartridges including Create a Critter and Opposites Attract, however, I incorporated one cut from the new Cricut Circle cartridge, Letter Envy.
Most of the cuts are from Create A Critter. I took the "So Dear" phrase from Create A Critter and using my Gypsy welded the 'ly" from Opposites Attract to create the word "dearly".  I also cut "Love You" from the Opposites Attract cartridge to create the title for my layout.
I hand cut the green border at the bottom of the layout and then added a picket fence punched with the Martha Stewart border punch.
The flower with the small vine under the title was cut from the Letter Envy cartridge.  The same flower was also added to the second page of the layout.
All of the die cuts were embellished with my white gel pen, I even added a bit of doodling to the clouds with a blue pen.
I added a couple of cute bows using Holiday Holly Berry Trendy Twine.  Even though the twine is a Christmas color combination, I love how the colors work for this layout.
I used a Peachy Keen Face stamp from the Princess Face Assortment for the worm.
