Happy Driver Layout

Today I have a fun layout page to share which was created with the Cricut Design Space Access using several different cartridges.  Most of the cuts came from the Cars, Locker Talk and Street Sign cartridges.  The background papers for my layout are from the DCWV DIY Project Stack Envelopes. The dark grey pattern and the ombre yellow were perfect for these pages.
I have several pictures of my kids driving and finally felt inspired to create a page for the pictures.  I tucked in a journaling tag and stamped it with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Ticket to Adventure (retired) stamp set.  I embellished the tag with a trendy page dot and some Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine.
The die cuts were accented with a white gel pen.  I added a couple of brads to the title of my layout and to the wheels of the car.  A few scattered enamel dots finished off my layout page.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello, it's my day over at Trendy Twine and I have a back to school themed layout to share.  I only have a sneak peek of my project so hop over to Trendy Twine for all of the pictures.  All of the die cuts came from the Locker Talk cartridge.  I popped up the die cuts on foam dots and used some ink for added dimension.  I used three Trendy Twine colors:  In the Navy, Lemon Tart and Cranberry.  These are the perfect colors for those back to school projects.
The finishing touch on my project was a cute little paper clip with all three of the twine colors tied at the top.  Make sure to stop by the store to check out these fun twine colors and lots of other crafty products!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

School Friends Layout

In honor of back to school this week, I created this School Friends layout using the Locker Talk and Don Juan cartridges.  I love this notebook paper that I had in my stash.
The title "School Friends", laptop, pennant and calculator were all cut from Locker Talk.  The letters for the pennant were cut from the Don Juan Cartridge.
This was my first project using baker's twine and I really like the look of it on the photo mats.
I also added a button with some twine to the laptop.  I used my white gel pen to add lots of faux stitching to my layout.
I will be using this layout for the Cricut 360Whimsical WednesdayDie Cuttin Divas, and 2 Sister Challenge Blog Back to School Challenges.  This layout is also being entered into The Paper Variety Threads challenge.

Driver's License Layout

Here's a fun layout I created to scrapbook pictures of my daughter the day she received her driver's license a few months ago.  I used 5 different cartridges for this layout.
I really wanted to create a California license plate with my daughters name so I find one on the Holiday Cakes cartridge.
The key was cut from Locker Talk, California was cut from the Billionaire cartridge and Shareen was cut from Don Juan.
I also used two metal buttons for bolts on the license plate.
Both the car and the "Hit the Road" sign were cut from Locker Talk.  The road was cut from My Community.
I kept the colors and cuts very simple on this layout since I wanted the emphasis to be on the license plate.
I again used my white gel pen to add some faux stitching to the sign.

School Zone Layout

This layout was created with the Graphically Speaking and Locker Talk cartridges.  The title was cut from Graphically Speaking and all of the other cuts are from Locker Talk.
The title is cut at 5.O inches, the scissors at 4.0 inches, the lock at 4.0 inches, the A+ at 3.0 inches, the compass at 4.0 inches and the globe at 5.0 inches.
I used the Houndstooth Cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss the A+.
I also used a white gel for lots of faux stitching on this layout.
