Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello everyone!  I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a coffee themed double paged layout featuring Cherry Latte Trendy Twine.  This double page layout is a fun representation of my recently found love for coffee.

I created the layout pages using Cafe Coffee Girls cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The girls face was stamped with Rosie's Favorites Face Assortment Peachy Keen Stamps.  The die cuts for my layout came from the Love You A Latte, Holly & Ivy and Summer Celebrations Cricut cartridges.

Some fun washi tape was adhered along the top and bottom edge of my layout pages.  I did a lot of embellishing with the Cherry Latte Trendy Twine.  Not only did I outline several of the cuts on my page with the twine, I also used it as an accent, the color combination was perfect.  All of the sentiments are from the Scrappy Moms Freshly Brewed stamp set.

Craftin Desert Diva's "Christmas in July" Linky Party

Welcome to another Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party.  The theme for this linky party is Christmas in July.  For my project I created a one page 12x12 layout.  I had previously created a single page layout with the same paper so I thought I would make another coordinating page for a double page layout. You can take a peek at the other page here.

The cocoa cups were cut from the Love You A Latte cartridge and inked on the edges.  The "S'more Cocoa Please" sentiment is from the Holly Days Punnies stamp set and the "Love" sentiment is from the Teenage Dream stamp set.

The sentiment was stamped on a die cut from my stash.  I popped the sentiment on foam dots for added dimension.

A coordinating double bow from the Krafty Red Trendy Twine was added between the two photo mats.

Trendy Twine's We Like You a Latte Blog Hop!

Hello everyone, welcome to the Trendy Twine We Like You a Latte Blog Hop!  The Trendy Gals are showcasing the new release of Cherry Latte and Krafty Red Trendy Twine.  Both of these amazing color combinations are available now for purchase here.  Since I absolutely love red and kraft, these colors will be perfect for my projects.

My project features Krafty Red Trendy Twine.  I created a single page 12x12 layout using the Love You a Latte cartridge.  I also used the Martha Stewart heart punch for the 3 hearts above the title.

All of the die cuts were inked on the edges for added dimension.  I used the Krafty Red twine to add a whimsical flair to my layout by looping the twine and adhering it along the edges.

The twine created a nice frame around the title, it was also a perfect embellishment for the heart. More twine was added to the photo mat.

A sentiment from the Craftin Desert Diva's Teenage Dream stamp set was stamped on a hand cut flag and I colored in the tiny hearts for a pop of color.  A manilla tag with a coordinating circle reinforcement from Annie's Paper Boutique was tucked in behind the photo mat for journaling.

Just for You Card

This card was created to tuck in a gift card for a friend.  I used the Love You A Latte cartridge for the coffee cup and welded it together to create a card using my Gypsy.  A mustache left over from another project was added on top of the heart.

The top of my card was embellished with Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set.
