Football Layout

The football season finished up for my son a couple of weeks ago so I thought I better get his layout finished up before moving on to some holiday projects.  I created this one page layout using the Lyrical Letters cartridge for the title and the Digital Numbers cartridge for the "55" which was his jersey number.
The embellishments came from my stash of die cuts.  I added the football stickers to a punched circle and stitched around the circle with my white gel pen.
A hand cut flag with some washi tape was used as an embellishment along with a small bow made from Twisted Lime Trendy Twine.  A few star stickers at the bottom of the photo mat finished off my layout.

My Gnomies Layout

Today I have a fun layout to share featuring these cute little gnomes from the Freshly Picked cartridge. The title was cut from Lyrical Letters and the circle and scalloped circle were cut from Elegant Edges.
Ever since I bought this cartridge I have wanted to create a layout with it but could not figure out any kind of theme.  I finally thought it would be fun to play on the word "homies" and substitute in "gnomies."
I added a coordinating circle and scalloped circle to the background of my layout and kept my photo mats very neutral.  I used Twisted Lime Trendy Twine to embellish the photo mats.
I also used some more twine to create a path for the felt ladybugs on my layout.
The layout was embellished with lots of paper flowers in coordinating colors with bling and pearl centers.
The gnomes got a little bit of chalk for their cheeks and lots of stickles as an embellishment.
I can't wait to use these cartridge again, I just love these cute little guys and am very pleased with they turned out for my layout.

Feel Better Soon Gift Bag

The Circle weekly challenge required using the Cricut to create a get well soon card or project incorporating a Cuttlebug embossing folder, kraft cardstock and string.  This challenge was timely since my daughter's friend had her wisdom teeth taken out and my daughter wanted to take over a couple of treats.  I chose to decorate this wine bag so we could add a couple of magazines to the bag.
I used the Campin' Critters cartridge for the First Aid bird, Elegant Edges for the mat and Lyrical Letters for the title.  Since there were no layers for the title, I created my own layer by cutting the title out twice in two different colors and off setting the layers.  I added some doodling to the title as an accent.
The mat was embossed with the Polka Dot Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I added wiggly eyes to the bird and pop dotted him on foam to give him a little dimension.
My white gel pen was used to add some stitching to the kraft cardstock and to the border which is punched from an EK Success border punch.  A little bit of string that has been in my stash forever and a couple of buttons tie the whole package together nicely.
