Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there!  In honor of this wonderful day I have a card to share.
The flowers for my card were cut from the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge and "Mom" was cut from the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art cartridge.  I used Posy Trendy Twine to stitch around my card and added a small bow to finish it off.

Mother's Day Card

This card was created using the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art cartridge for the word "Mom".  I outlined it with Twisted Lime Trendy Twine.  The twine was also added to the edge of the card and to a tiny folded fan.
The card was embossed with the Darice "Simple"border embossing folder and embellished with some Stickles.  A small border punched with the Effervescence Fiskars border punch was added to the bottom of the card.
We have a Mother's Day special on Docerela Stamps for both the english and portuguese stamp sets.  The word heart is such a fun and unique stamp set, pick them up before they're gone!

Frosty Layout

Today I am sharing this "Frosty" layout that I created for a couple of challenges.  This layout was created using the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art and Winter Frolic cartridges.
I have had this paper in my stash from when I first started scrapbooking.  I remember the pre-Cricut days when I would buy patterned paper and just stick my pictures on it with a few embellishments.  I essentially did the same thing with this layout except I added my favorite snowmen from the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art cartridge.
I have used these snowmen for various projects over the past month.  The snowmen and their cute little faces quickly became one of my favorite seasonal creations.  I used the Peachy Keen Happy Lashes Stamp for their faces, some pearl stickers for the buttons and some twine for their hats.
The "Frosty" title was cut from the Winter Frolic cartridge and the snowflakes are from a punch.  I added some bling to the center of the snowflake to embellish it.  A pop dot was added between the snowflake layers to add some dimension to it.
The photo mats were embossed with the Darice Snowflakes embossing folder.  The snowmen were popped up on foam dots to add dimension and I used my white gel pen for a few little details.
I am entering this layout in the Thankful Party challenge at DL.ART Thankful Thursday because I am so thankful for my creative outlet.  I enjoy all things crafty and am thankful that I am able to spend time doing what I love.  Although this project was newly created, it uses my favorite snowman cut from this year.

Wishing You A Beautiful Holiday Season Card

This simple 5x7 card was created with a snowman cut and tag that I had leftover from other projects.  I just couldn't see myself tossing this cute little guy out so I made a card for my friend. The snowman was from the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art cartridge and the tag was cut from Cupcake Wrappers Lite cartridge.
I embossed the metallic cardstock with the Darice Snowman embossing folder and added a little bling to the embossed snowmen.
The snowflakes are from a punch and I added Diamond Stickles for the sparkly affect. The stamped sentiment is a Fiskars stamp.  I added some dots to the scallops on the tag with a Martha Stewart glitter marker.
A little twine was added to the snowman's hat along with some pearl buttons.  I also embossed his scarf.  I used the Happy Lashes Peachy Keen stamp for the snowman's face.

Snowman Mug

For this project I took a basic ceramic coffee mug that I purchased and instead of just putting it in a gift bag, I used the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art cartridge to dress it up.  Both the snowman and the snowflake border were cut from this cartridge.  I was able to use my scraps for my cuts.
I used the Happy Lashes Peachy Keen Stamp and added some maraschino Twinery twine to his hat. Of course I had to add a little bling so I used some pearl stickers for the snowman's buttons and added some bling to the snowflake border.
I used some more of the maraschino twine to tie a bow on top of the mug. This festive coffee mug is now ready for gift giving.
With the inside filled with some candy I will leave this on my coworkers desk as a little holiday treat.

Let It Snow Card

Docerela Creations is hosting another challenge!  Today's challenge is to create a 3-D project with a Christmas theme.  Just in time for the holidays!  I created this 5x7 snowman card using the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art Cartridge.
The snowflakes are from two different punches and the snowflake border is the Winter Ribbon from Making Memories.
I used two different Happy Lashes Peachy Keen Face stamps for the snowmen and added some twine to their hats and some pearls as buttons. I also embossed their scarves with the Sizzix Diamonds embossing folder.  The sentiment is from the Docerela Mix & Match I stamp set available here.  I hope you will pop over and visit Docerela's design team and join in the challenge over at Docerela Creations and be entered to win one of her stamp sets!
