I have had a fun time playing with my Simple Stories papers to create some easy layouts. Today I am sharing one of the last ones I created.
All of these fun papers and tags are from the same paper line so they coordinate perfectly. I wrapped some beautiful Celebration Trendy Twine around one of the tags. This twine coordinates perfectly with anything Disney themed. The characters on the roller coaster were cut from a Cuttlebug die.
At the top of my layout, I tucked in a Mickey Mouse head from the Mickey Font cartridge. I added some stitching with a white gel pen. I also tucked in a journaling tag from the Craftin Desert Diva's Tag It stamp set and stamped it with the Destination Fun stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Word Art Layout
Today I have another simple Disney themed layout to share. I love the word art banner which really sums up every trip I have ever take to Disneyland and Disney World. A couple of Mickeys cut from the Mickey Font cartridge were used as embellishments.
The small cards tucked in behind the photo mat are from the Simple Stories Say Cheese 6x6 paper pad. I added a small hand cut flag with a sentiment from the Craftin Desert Diva's Destination Fun stamp set and attached a small twine bow in Cranberry Trendy Twine. More twine was wrapped around the photo mat as an accent. Some chevron washi tape was adhered along the bottom of my layout.

Happiness Starts Here Layout
While cleaning out my scrapbooking room, I found some Disney pictures in my stash that I still need to scrapbook from a trip from a couple of years ago. I used the Say Cheese collection from Simple Stories for my layout.
All of the elements are from the same collection with the exception of the Mickey head which were cut from the Mickey Font cartridge. I punched some scalloped circles and added them as embellishments. Some Chevron Washi tape was adhered to the photo mats and the title card.
The sentiment is from the Craftin Desert Diva's Destination Fun stamp set and was stamped on a hand cut flag. A small bow in Black Licorice Trendy Twine was added to the flag.

Disney Magic Layout
This Disney layout was created using the Mickey and Friends cartridge for Mickey and Minne, Mickey Font for the title and the Mini Monsters cartridge for the lampost.
The Mickey and Minnie die cuts with the lamp post reminded me of Main Street at Disneyland and were perfect for the pictures I have for this layout.
I twirled some Berry Trendy Twine around the lamp post as an accent and to add some color to my layout.
The Mickey ears silhouette were also cut from the Mickey Font cartridge and added above two of the photo mats.
The kraft tags came from my stash and were stamped with the Scrappy Moms "Mini Messages" stamp set.
I used my white gel pen to add some doodling to all of the die cuts and to the tags.
Some metal stickers, bling and felt flowers were added as embellishments to my layout.

Disney Layout
This double page layout was created using the Mickey Font cartridge for the Mickey heads on the two banners.
The Mickey and Friends cartridge was used for all of the other die cuts on my layout.
I added some stitching and doodling with my white gel pen to provide some accent and detail to the die cuts.
This photo mat was added to the center of the Mickey ears to create a display for a family photo from Disneyland. I intentionally pointed the arrows towards the photo mat to highlight this special picture.
A smaller banner with the Mickey ears was also added to the left page of my layout. I loosely threaded the Black Licorice Trendy Twine through the punched holes.
The flags at the bottom of the page were cut by hand. I added some dimensional stickers from my stash to the flags.

Docerela Creations "Teacher's Pet" Stamp Release and Challenge.
Today is challenge day over at Docerela Creations and we are showcasing the new "Teacher's Pet" stamp set. This stamp set is being released today.
The design team shared sneak peeks all week long using this stamp set. The new challenge is to create a project using a button and ribbon. For my project, I created a back to school treat and added a couple of pencils to the bag. I used the Mickey Font cartridge for the tag and used my white gel pen to add faux stitching.
The tag was embellished with a button a small bow made from Cranberry Trendy Twine and then finished off with a large ribbon bow. The sentiment was stamped in the center of the tag.
The new stamps are now available in the store. Also, come join our "button and ribbon" challenge going on now. For more inspiration from the design team, please stop by their blogs:

Trendy Twine Design Day - Disney Layout
Welcome to Trendy Twine's special release of color #50. The Trendy Gals are showcasing the new color, "Celebration". This is a very unique twine consisting of 4 different colors; red, yellow, black and white.
For my project, I created this double page 12x12 layout featuring a Disney theme which is perfect for the new Celebration twine.
All of the die cuts for my layout are from the Mickey and Friends cartridge other than the ticket with the Mickey ears which is cut from the Mickey Font cartridge.
I used the EK Success Zig Zag border punch for the 2 borders on my layout. The borders are slightly embossed with the punch too.
The Celebration twine was used to embellish the balloons by punching a hole in them and adding the twine. I then tied the balloons together with a little bow.
The Mickey tag was embellished with some ribbon and a small twine bow. I created another smaller tag and added a Mickey button to it and tied it with the twine at the top.
More twine was used for this small banner and also for the the flags with sentiments. I used several different sentiments on my layout. The "fun" sentiment is from Docerela stamps, the "2013 and Happy Place" is from a Smash stamp. The other 2 sentiments are from Scrappy Moms stamps.
A few stars and a large die cut Mickey Mouse were the perfect finishing touch for my Disney layout.
The new twine is available in the store now. Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Ticket 2 Fun Layout
Today I have a red, white and blue layout to share. This two page 12x12 layout was created using the Cheerful Seasons cartridge for "Fun" in the title and the Mickey Font cartridge for the "2" in the title.
The banner was cut out twice from the Carousel lite cartridge and the stars are from Phrases.
I added Sky Trendy Twine to the title, along the banner and to the metal charm.
The flag was hand cut to which I will add a sentiment or some journaling, I will have a better idea as soon as I add my pictures to the layout.

I created a large photo mat so that multiple 4x4 pictures could be displayed on a single page.
The ticket in the title and the border were cut from a full page that I had in my stack. I used foam dots for the title for added dimension.I added Sky Trendy Twine to the title, along the banner and to the metal charm.

Disney Memories Layout
This double page layout was created using three cartridges, Graphically Speaking for "memories", Mickey Font for "2012" and Mickey and Friends for the rest of the cuts.
I used the Effervescence Fiskars border punch at the top and bottom of the layout to add a pop of color.
The small Mickey ears are buttons from my stash which were added to a large hand cut flag. I wrapped Black Licorice, Berry Red and Lemon Tart Trendy Twine around the tag.
A ribbon bow and paper flowers with bling centers finished off this Disney layout.
