Oh Snap Layout

Today I am sharing a layout which I created last year and never shared on my blog.  This double page layout was created using 4 different cartridges.  Opposites Attract for the title, Mickey and Friends for the film strip, Freshly Picked for the Polaroid frames and Pack Your Bags for the cameras.
I created an accent border at the top and bottom of the photo mats which was punched with the Fancy Flight EK Success punch.
The film strip was cut so it could be used as an accent on both pages of my layout.  I added a solid white background to the film strip.
The title was welded together using my Gypsy.  A few sentiments were added on hand cut flags.  The sentiments are from the Scrappy Moms Picture Perfect stamp set.
A hand cut flag embellished with Black Licorice Trendy Twine and a metal camera was added to the layout.
The Polaroid frames were left open on top so pictures could easily slide in.  Some bling was added to a couple of the frames and a journaling tag was tucked in behind one of the frames.
A couple of cameras finished off my layout.  The camera on the left was created using the negative pieces from the camera on the right.

Trendy Twine Design Day

Today is my design day over at Trendy Twine and this month we are showcasing the Celebration twine. This cute bakers twine is a unique twist of red, yellow, black and white, such a fun and festive color combination.  My Disney themed project was inspired by this fun twine color.  For my project, I created a single page 12x12 layout using the Mickey and Friends cartridge.  I only have a sneak peek for you over here so hop on over to Trendy Twine to check out all of the details.
The stars were cut using a die from my stash and the die cuts were popped up on foam dots for added dimension.  Lots of fun little embellishments including some polka dotted washi tape, a button, scattered sequins and a couple of Mickey icons were added to my layout. A couple of sentiments from the Scrappy Moms Picture Perfect stamp set were added to hand cut flags as a finishing touch.  Don't forget to check out the store for lots of crafty products.  You also have a few more days to apply for the Trendy Twine Little Sisters Design Team call, all of the details are here.

Craftin Desert Divas "Anything Goes" Linky Party

Welcome to another Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party.  The theme is anything goes so I created a Disney layout.  I used the Sweet Treats cartridge for the "fun" cut and the Mickey and Friends cartridge for the Mickey Mouse, tag and "Disney" cuts.
My intent for this layout was to have plenty of large photo mats to display 4x6 pictures.
The Disney characters were individually cut from a 12x12 page and matted on black card stock.
A tag was added for some journaling.  The swirls were punched from a small punch in my stash and the tag was finished off with some ribbon and a Berry Trendy Twine bow.
Mickey Mouse was popped up on foam for added dimension.  He was the perfect finishing touch to my layout.
We have some awesome sponsors for this linky party: Fleurette Bloom, Love Bug Creations and Fresh Squeezed Stamps.  Stop by Craftin Desert Divas to check out all of the inspiring projects from the DT and join in on the linky party.

Disney Magic Layout

This Disney layout was created using the Mickey and Friends cartridge for Mickey and Minne, Mickey Font for the title and the Mini Monsters cartridge for the lampost.
The Mickey and Minnie die cuts with the lamp post reminded me of Main Street at Disneyland and were perfect for the pictures I have for this layout.
I twirled some Berry Trendy Twine around the lamp post as an accent and to add some color to my layout.
The Mickey ears silhouette were also cut from the Mickey Font cartridge and added above two of the photo mats.
The kraft tags came from my stash and were stamped with the Scrappy Moms "Mini Messages" stamp set.
I used my white gel pen to add some doodling to all of the die cuts and to the tags.
Some metal stickers, bling and felt flowers were added as embellishments to my layout.

Trendy Twine Design Day - Happy Birthday Card

Today is my design day over at the Trendy Twine blog and we are featuring the Celebration twine which was released earlier this month.  This is a four color twist of red, white, black and yellow.
It is perfect for celebration projects so I used it to create a birthday card.  I have a sneak peek for you, please see the Trendy Twine blog for more details.  I used the Mickey and Friends cartridge for Mickey Mouse and added a sentiment from Docerela stamps to the center of the largest circle.  Mickey is popped up on foam dots for dimension.

Disney Layout

This double page layout was created using the Mickey Font cartridge for the Mickey heads on the two banners.
The Mickey and Friends cartridge was used for all of the other die cuts on my layout.
I added some stitching and doodling with my white gel pen to provide some accent and detail to the die cuts.
This photo mat was added to the center of the Mickey ears to create a display for a family photo from Disneyland.  I intentionally pointed the arrows towards the photo mat to highlight this special picture.
A smaller banner with the Mickey ears was also added to the left page of my layout.  I loosely threaded the Black Licorice Trendy Twine through the punched holes.
The flags at the bottom of the page were cut by hand.  I added some dimensional stickers from my stash to the flags.

Trendy Twine Design Day - Disney Layout

Welcome to Trendy Twine's special release of color #50.  The Trendy Gals are showcasing the new color, "Celebration".  This is a very unique twine consisting of 4 different colors; red, yellow, black and white.
For my project, I created this double page 12x12 layout featuring a Disney theme which is perfect for the new Celebration twine.
All of the die cuts for my layout are from the Mickey and Friends cartridge other than the ticket with the Mickey ears which is cut from the Mickey Font cartridge.
I used the EK Success Zig Zag border punch for the 2 borders on my layout.  The borders are slightly embossed with the punch too.
The Celebration twine was used to embellish the balloons by punching a hole in them and adding the twine.  I then tied the balloons together with a little bow.
The Mickey tag was embellished with some ribbon and a small twine bow.  I created another smaller tag and added a Mickey button to it and tied it with the twine at the top.
More twine was used for this small banner and also for the the flags with sentiments.  I used several different sentiments on my layout.  The "fun" sentiment is from Docerela stamps, the "2013 and Happy Place" is from a Smash stamp.  The other 2 sentiments are from Scrappy Moms stamps.
A few stars and a large die cut Mickey Mouse were the perfect finishing touch for my Disney layout.
The new twine is available in the store now.  Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Admit One Layout

This bright and cheery layout was created using the Carousel lite cartridge for the "Admit One" title and the Mickey and Friends cartridge for the train.
I added a couple of groupings of paper flowers as an embellishments.  All of the flowers have bling centers.
The title was cut at 3 inches so that it would really pop on the page against the patterned paper.
The flag was hand cut and I added a metal tag with a brad from my stash.  The metal sticker was adhered to a paper flower and I added a Berry Red Trendy Twine bow.
A metal tag was attached to the train with some Black Licorice Trendy Twine and a couple of brads were added to the train.
I added a tag for journaling from my stash.  Another metal sticker adhered to a paper flower, some ribbon and twine finished off the tag.
