Craftin Desert Diva's Design Day

Hello everyone, today is my design day over at Craftin Desert Diva's and I have a Father's Day card to share.  I always find masculine projects to be a bit of a challenge.  It seems to take me forever to pick out the right colors and papers to even begin my project so I went with a simple theme.
I used the Mustaches and Glasses digital cartridge to cut out the mustaches and aligned them along the right side of my card.  A sentiment from the new Craftin Desert Diva's Happy Celebrations stamp set was added to a hand cut flag.  A small bow in Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine was the finishing touch.
Stop by the shop to check out this stamp set, it has a little something for everyone.  You will also be able to see the rest of the May release!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Craftin Desert Divas "Buttons, Ribbon, Twine or Brads (use 2)" Linky Party

Welcome to another Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party.  The theme is buttons, ribbon, twine or brads, use 2.  I used ribbon, a button and some twine on my layout, I used the Mustaches and Glasses cartridge for the mustaches, Lacy Labels for the heart and "Love" and Kate's ABC's for the "I".
I hand cut a small tag and added the "Love" to the tag.  A button was added on top of the "o".  The tag and photo mat were finished off with some fun coordinating mustache ribbon.
The mustaches were added to wooden toothpicks and popped up on foam for added dimension.  A small bow in Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine was the perfect finishing touch.
A couple of hand cut flags were added to my layout using washi tape.  A sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Just Sayin' stamp set was added to one of the hand cut flags.  This fun square tag was created using the die cuts and a small twine bow.
We have some awesome sponsors for this link party: Too Cute By Jessica, Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons and Tombow.  Stop by Craftin Desert Divas to check out all of the inspiring projects from the DT and join in the linky party.

Happy Valentine's Day Card

This Valentine's Day card was created using the Mustaches and Glasses digital cartridge for the mustache.  The background of the card was embossed with the Cuttlebug Mr. Maverick embossing folder.
I added a couple of hearts from My Creative Times Stitched Heart Layering Dies.  A small twine bow in Cherry Midnight was the perfect coordinating color.  My card was finished off with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Crazy for You stamp set.  The sentiment was stamped on a hand cut flag.

Die Cuttin' Divas Guest Designer

Today I am super excited to be a guest designer over at Die Cuttin' Divas and they have a fun new challenge going on.
This week's challenge is to create a non-traditional Valentines using no pink or red.  My card for the challenge was created using the  Sweethearts cartridge for the scalloped heart and the Mustaches & Glasses digital cartridge for the Mustache.
The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Just Sayin' stamp set and was added to a hand cut flag. Some fun ribbon, a button and a bow made with Tickled with Teal Trendy Twine were added as embellishments. Several coordinating sequins were scattered on the front of the card as a finishing touch.
Head over to Die Cuttin' Divas to check out all of the design team projects.  Come link up your creative projects for the non-traditional Valentine's challenge!  Have a great day!

Happy Father's Day Card

Today I have a fun card to share which I scraplifted from Pinterest.  Here is the link to the original card.   I used the Elegant Edges cartridge for my mat, the Billionaire Lite cartridge for the bow tie and the Mustaches and Glasses Digital cartridge for the mustache and glasses.
I added a printed sentiment on a hand cut flag and a small bow made from Berry Red Trendy Twine. The finishing touch was a small heart punched from a Martha Stewart border punch.
