Birthday Wishes Card

Hello!  Today I'm sharing this sweet birthday card over on the Scrapping Cottage blog for my guest designer post.  With it being the first day of Spring today, the floral design is perfect to share.  This die is so versatile and can be used for many occasions.
I used the Spring Teacup Bouquet for the focal point of my card.  Once I die cut all of the pieces out of white card stock, I watercolored everything with some Distress Inks. I went with a non-traditional color theme for my flowers.  I used some kraft card stock for the cup.
The background was kept simple with some kraft and watercolor card stock.  The frame was cut from the Stitched Wide Rectangle Frame Set
The flower clusters were assembled inside of the frame and adhered to the base of my card.  The arrangement of flowers was spread out to fill up the inside of my frame.
As a finishing accent, I added a sentiment from the My Craft Spot (retired) Tiny Tags 3 stamp set. The sentiment was attached to the cup handle with a jute bow.
I used these dies on my card, available here:

Trendy Twine - From Santa

Hello!  Today I have a Christmas themed project to share over on the Trendy Twine blog.  I started my project with some Mini Candy Cubes which were the perfect size for tucking in some treats.  I wrapped some festive paper around each of the candy cubes.
For the top, I cut out a couple of scalloped circles.  A die cut reindeer was popped up on foam dots on top of each of the circles.  I used a bit of Wink of Stella on the reindeer noses for a sparkly affect and inked the edges for added dimension.
A sentiment from the APB Hello Santa stamp set was stamped on a hand cut flag and adhered to each candy cube.  A tiny jingle bell was tied to each of the cubes with some Holly Trendy Twine.
The products used on my project are available over at Annie's Paper Boutique. Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

On Your Special Day

Hello! Today I have an open book card to share created with the DCWV Watercolor stack.  The base of my card was cut with my Cricut Explore as was the tassel.  I embossed the top layer of my card with the Cuttlebug Tropic Bloom embossing folder.  Next, I added some paint splatters with black acrylic paint.
The different flowers and foliage were cut from different dies from my stash.  The sentiment is from the Haute Wedding Dress stamp set from The Ton.  The sentiment flag was layered on a couple of Doily Dies (retired) from My Craft Spot. The finishing touch was some twine accents in Totally White Trendy Twine.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a spectacular day!

Congrats

Today I have a shaker style card to share which I created for a baby shower.  I used the DCWV Watercolor Florals stack for all of the papers.  The papers were perfect for all of the manual dies I used on my card.
The base of my card was cut with the Nested Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Die from Gina Marie Designs.  I used an unbranded window die for the shaker part of my card. The tiny bird was also cut from a die in my stash.  I ended up cutting it in 3 different colors for each of the windows.  The "congrats" is cut from a My Craft Spot (retired) die.  Several different sequins were used for each of the windows and mixed in with some iridescent sequins.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Layout

Today I am sharing a double page layout using the Happy Woof Day and Labels cutting files from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  All three of the dogs were cut from Happy Woof Day and I used the Labels file for the tag and the sentiment.
The title was cut from the My Craft Spot Big Words metal dies.  I added a hand cut banner under the title and attached some Totally Grape Trendy Twine along the top edge.  The twine was also added to the tags and to the present.  A couple of flowers and some gems from my stash were added as embellishments.
I created a present using some scraps and tucked the dog inside.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Birthday Hugs stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year!  I am back over on the Trendy Twine blog with a New Year's shaker card.
I used some gorgeous paper from Craft Smith and cut out the stars using my Momenta dies.  The "Happy" was cut from the My Craft Spot Big Words Metal dies multiple times and layered for dimension.  I attached a small hand cut flag with a sentiment from the Craftin Desert Diva's Get Your Jingle On stamp set.  I used a masking technique to only stamp "new year".  The finishing touch was a small bow in Totally Red Trendy Twine.  You can find this beautiful twine in the store and it's currently on sale.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I am looking forward to lots of crafty inspiration in 2015.  Happy New Year!

Happy Birthday Layout

My layout was inspired by the DCWV March Stackaholic Challenge.  I used the DCWV Celebration stack and also incorporated some patterned paper from the DCWV Dots, Stripes and Plaids stack.
The banner was hand cut and embellished with some Blue Berry Trendy Twine.  A couple of twine bows were also added to my layout.
The Happy Birthday title was cut using the My Craft Spot Big Words Metal Dies.  I love how delicate the title looks.
A bit of Twisted Lime and Blue Berry Trendy Twine was wrapped around each of the bingo cards.
I added a couple of my own embellishments by using different pieces from the same stack of paper.

Cookie Treat Bag

I used a Martha Stewart treat bag to create my cookie bag.  I created a topper for the bag by using a strip of polka dotted paper.  The topper was embellished with two doilies cut from the My Craft Spot Tiny Doilies set.  I added a spider to a pop dot and placed him in the center of the doily.  The spider was punched with the EK Success Spider Link punch.
The bag was finished off with some Orange Licorice Trendy Twine and a small hand cut flag stamped with a sentiment from My Craft Spot's Tasty Treats stamp set.  I thought the sentiment was so perfect for those yummy Oreos.

My Craft Spot Guest Designer and Giveaway

Happy Friday, this is Sukie from Scrappin Dhilly and I am honored to be a guest designer for My Craft Spot today.  For my project, I created a single page 12x12 layout using My Craft Spot's Tiny Doilies metal dies and the Tiny Tags 3 stamp set.
The cat was cut from the October 31st Cricut cartridge and the banner was cut using the Pretty Pennants cartridge.  I cut the banner flags at 3.5 inches and embossed them with the Darice Spider Web embossing folder.  Next I layered the doilies from the Tiny Doilies dies using 3 of the doilies and adding foam pop dots between one layer for added dimension.  I also embossed the top doily using the same embossing folder.
I used Totally Kraft Trendy Twine to join the banner together.  A few paper flowers with bling centers were added to the ends of the banners.  I used a small pre-printed "candy" tag next to the photo mat which is a die cut from the Recollections die cut paper pad.  The photo mats were embellished with a fence punched from the Martha Stewart Crooked Fence punch.
I added a small hand cut flag with another doily and added the "Sweet Treats" sentiment stamped from the Tiny Tags 3 stamp set.  My layout was finished off with a spider tag which was created by using a doily and adhering a spider tag on top using foam pop dots.  The spider tag is also from the Recollections die cut paper pad.
