Oh Snap Layout

Today I am sharing a layout which I created last year and never shared on my blog.  This double page layout was created using 4 different cartridges.  Opposites Attract for the title, Mickey and Friends for the film strip, Freshly Picked for the Polaroid frames and Pack Your Bags for the cameras.
I created an accent border at the top and bottom of the photo mats which was punched with the Fancy Flight EK Success punch.
The film strip was cut so it could be used as an accent on both pages of my layout.  I added a solid white background to the film strip.
The title was welded together using my Gypsy.  A few sentiments were added on hand cut flags.  The sentiments are from the Scrappy Moms Picture Perfect stamp set.
A hand cut flag embellished with Black Licorice Trendy Twine and a metal camera was added to the layout.
The Polaroid frames were left open on top so pictures could easily slide in.  Some bling was added to a couple of the frames and a journaling tag was tucked in behind one of the frames.
A couple of cameras finished off my layout.  The camera on the left was created using the negative pieces from the camera on the right.

Love You So Dearly

This Spring time layout was created with a couple of older cartridges including Create a Critter and Opposites Attract, however, I incorporated one cut from the new Cricut Circle cartridge, Letter Envy.
Most of the cuts are from Create A Critter. I took the "So Dear" phrase from Create A Critter and using my Gypsy welded the 'ly" from Opposites Attract to create the word "dearly".  I also cut "Love You" from the Opposites Attract cartridge to create the title for my layout.
I hand cut the green border at the bottom of the layout and then added a picket fence punched with the Martha Stewart border punch.
The flower with the small vine under the title was cut from the Letter Envy cartridge.  The same flower was also added to the second page of the layout.
All of the die cuts were embellished with my white gel pen, I even added a bit of doodling to the clouds with a blue pen.
I added a couple of cute bows using Holiday Holly Berry Trendy Twine.  Even though the twine is a Christmas color combination, I love how the colors work for this layout.
I used a Peachy Keen Face stamp from the Princess Face Assortment for the worm.

My Crafty Life Layout

In honor of a new year, I created this two page layout for a couple of different challenges which I thought would be a great way to kick off 2012.
I have never been big on making New Year's resolutions so I thought this would be a fun way to showcase some of my crafty priorities for the upcoming year.
The clipboards and paper clips were cut from the Fabulous Finds cartridge and the title was cut from the Opposites Attract cartridge.  I added a cute little face with my Peachy Keen Stamps to one of the paper clips.
I used several of my favorite crafty embellishments to this layout to memorialize what I currently love. I think I may have gone overboard with my white gel pen but I love the doodling and stitching.
I used some plastic letters for the paper clip to add titles so I could highlight how I personally want to grow creatively in the year 2012.  I plan on printing some crafty pictures and to add some journaling to my layout.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy New Year to all of my crafty friends!
