Oriental Trading - Valentine's Treats

Hello!  Today I'm sharing some yummy treats for Valentine's Day!  Here's another fun way to use some clear bags with a decorative topper.  I used a scalloped square die to cut my bag topper and simply folded it in half.
The topper was embellished with a bit of ribbon and layered with double die cut hearts.  I added a sentiment cut from the Momenta Word Fetti dies to each of the bag toppers.
I filled my bags with some candy which was wrapped with coordinating papers.  A Glue Dot was used to secure the paper to the candy bars.
Head on over to Oriental Trading to check out the items used on my project.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Oriental Trading - Valentine's Treats

Hello! Today I'm sharing some quick Valentine's Day treats using some fun supplies from Oriental Trading!  I picked up some clear bags and created bag toppers for them using some dies from my stash.  A simple die cut heart, arrow and a few sequins were the embellishments on my bag topper.
I filled my treat bags with some candy which was wrapped with the coordinating paper.  A tiny Glue Dot secured the backs of the paper to each of the mini candy bars.
Once my treat bags were full, I adhered the toppers on to my bag.  For a decorative finishing accent, I added some ribbon, lace and sequin trim which was clipped with a coordinating clothespin.

Oriental Trading - Snowmen

Hello!  Today I have another holiday decor project using some amazing products from Oriental Trading.  I saw some similar ideas on Pinterest and was completely inspired to create my own version of these adorable snowmen.
I started my project with the Mini Wood Blocks and sanded them a bit for a smooth finish.  Next I used the white Acrylic Paint to paint each of the wood blocks.  While my paint was drying, I cut out some burlap for the snowman hats.  Next, I stamped each of the snowmen faces with the Peachy Keen Candy Cane Assortment face stamps.  A bit of chalk was added to the cheeks of the snowmen.
The burlap was adhered to each of the blocks with an adhesive tape runner and tied with a bit of jute to create the hat.  I decorated the hats with some buttonsjingle bells and more jute.
Since my snowmen looked a bit plain, I added a couple of more buttons to each of the snowmen.  I used my Glue Dots to secure the buttons to each of the wood blocks.  The snowmen were sealed with some Mod Podge

Oriental Trading - Joy

Hello!  With Christmas approaching right around the corner, I started working on a holiday decor project using some amazing products from Oriental Trading.  This project can also be a fun holiday gift idea.
I started my project with the Mini Wood Blocks and sanded them a bit for a smooth finish.  Next I used the red Acrylic Paint to paint each of the wood blocks.  While my paint was drying, I cut out the "Joy" phrase using my electronic die cutter and some White Cardstock.
I also cut out some rectangles to adhere to the front of my blocks using the Christmas/Winter Paper Pack.  I ensured each rectangle was sized to fit the front of each block. The letters were adhered to each of the rectangles.
Everything was then adhered and sealed with some Mod Podge.  The matte finish gave my blocks a professional appearance.
Head on over to Oriental Trading to check out the items used on my project and for other holiday decor items.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a lovely day!

Oriental Trading - Place Setting

Hello! As we are preparing for the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday, Oriental Trading came to the rescue and provided the perfect supplies for my place settings.  Not only did I pick out all of these wonderful products to create each place setting, I will also be able to use the wood plank and burlap table runner on my table for a bit of rustic charm.
I gathered my supplies all from Oriental Trading, trimmed the burlap, folded it over and adhered it using the double-sided tape which created a nice pocket for my utensils.
The burlap leaf shapes were the perfect embellishments for my utensil holder and were adhered with some Glue Dots.  I created the bow topper with a pre-made burlap bow, some jute cording and a wooden button.  A few more Glue Dots on the back of the bow topper secured it on my utensil holder.
This was such a fun and easy project to put together.  I just love the rustic charm of the burlap products which can be found over at Oriental Trading.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

Oriental Trading - Treats

Hello!  I have some Halloween goodies to share today created with products from Oriental Trading. I saw a similar idea on Pinterest and thought it would be fun to create an up-cycled project using toilet paper rolls.
I gathered some papers from the Halloween Basic Pattern Paper Assortment which was measured and trimmed to the size of the paper rolls.  The Glue Dots adhesive tape was used to secure the paper and scallop trim to the paper rolls.  I glued the scallop circle to the bottom of the paper rolls and used the Glue Dots Multiple Surfaces Adhesives for the handle.  These Glue Dots are super strength and will ensure that the handle doesn't come apart from the paper roll.
The finished product is a fun treat container with a handle. These can easily be created and filled with some yummy Halloween candies.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Oriental Trading - Trick or Treat

Hello! Today I have a Halloween treat project to share featuring products from Oriental Trading.  I created a fun candy display with some glass jarscandy and Halloween papers all from Oriental Trading.  I kept my project very simple since I wanted the candy to be easily accessible.
The jars were embellished with the die cut tags from the Halloween paper pack.  Each of the tags were tied with some twine (Orange Truffle, Lime Orangesicle and Grape Limeade).  A bit more paper was used to embellish the lids of the jars.  I also used some paper to line the inside of my wood tray which was painted with black paint.

Oriental Trading - Halloween Treats

Hello! Today I have a Halloween treat project to share featuring products from Oriental Trading.  I always like to have a couple of special treats on hand for those trick or treaters.
To create this project, I picked out a couple of Paint Bucket Favor Containers and filled them with candy.  I cut out a 1.5 inch strip of paper and a few die cuts from the Halloween Basic Pattern Paper Assortment.  Each of the die cuts were inked on the edges for added dimension.
I simply adhered the die cuts to the bucket and lid using some Removable Glue Dots.  I chose to use the Removable Glue Dots so that the bucket could be repurposed if necessary. I also attached a double paper flower with the Glue Dots as an embellishment.
The final accent on my treat buckets was some fun ribbon which was adhered to the bucket handle.
I hoped you enjoyed checking out my treat project. These items are available in the Scrapbooking & Paper Crafting Store, the Craft Supplies Store, and from the Party Supplies Store all from Oriental Trading. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Oriental Trading - Back to School Survival Kit

Hello! Today I have a back to school project to share featuring products from Oriental Trading.  Back to school can be a crazy time of year so I wanted to put together a quick and easy gift idea which is also practical.  I would call it a teacher survival kit with some extra supplies.
I have 3 teachers in my immediate family so I know how tight their budgets are for supplies. Oriental Trading has lots of products available in the school supplies category.  Based upon one's budget, the gift basket can be any size.  I started my project with a Large Galvanized Pail and added some ribbon from the Family Ribbon Assortment package around the pail for a decorative element.
I picked out some fun items from the Teacher Supplies, Classroom Supplies & Resources Store and from the Craft Supplies Store for my survival kit.  I wanted the items to not only be functional for the classroom but also serve a dual purpose and be a fun gift specifically for the teacher.  A set of Watercolor Paint Brushes, some Sharpies and some colored and basic pencils were definitely must haves.  I added the Watercolor Paint Brushes to a jar which was perfect for storage.  Some Berry Trendy Twine added a pop of color to my jar.  I also tucked in a couple of adhesive items including glue and Glue Dots which are definite must haves.
To finish off my project, I added a fun printable tag on some White Paper Stock.  The printable tag was displayed on a Mini Wooden Easel.  All of the items were placed in a gorgeous Grey Distressed Wood Nesting Tray.  I added a couple of rolls of ruler themed washi tape and a light bulb full of paper clips (purchased at Walmart).  The tray, galvanized pail and jar can all be repurposed and used in the classroom.
I hoped you enjoyed checking out my projects. These items are available in the Scrapbooking & Paper Crafting Store, the Craft Supplies Store, and from the Teacher Supplies, Classroom Supplies & Resources Store all from Oriental Trading. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

Oriental Trading - Recipes for the Bride

Hello!  Today I am sharing a bridal shower display using products from Oriental Trading and the MarryMe shop.  This was a practical and fun set up for the bride-to-be who loves to cook.  The recipes can also be shared with other friends and family.
The hot pink, black and white colors theme was perfect for mixing in with some rustic elements.  The chalkboard and easel display was used for the centerpiece.  I simply used my electronic die cutter to cut out the vinyl letters for the chalkboard.
The black mini suitcase not only serves as a fun display piece but is also practical for packing up all of the recipes and recipe box for the bride to take home.  A bit of washi and a rosette added some pops of color to the suitcase.
The coordinating pails, gift bags and pink boxes are available from Oriental Trading.  Even the candy matched perfectly.  The clear candy boxes were my own addition from Annie's Paper Boutique, however, the candy jars are also available from Oriental Trading.
The Crocheted Table Runner and wood centerpieces brought some rustic charm to the table.  The Alphabet Tiles added another fun element.  The tiles were adhered to the table with some Glue Dots so they would hold in their position.
The banner was embellished with a few hand made rosettes.  The rosettes were also secured with some Glue Dots.
I hoped you enjoyed checking out my projects. These items are available in the Scrapbooking & Paper Crafting Store, the Craft Supplies Store, the Candy Store , the Birthday Party Supplies and from the Marry Me Store all from Oriental Trading. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

Oriental Trading - Stache Bash

Hello!  Today I am sharing a "stache bash" themed birthday using products from Oriental Trading. The masculine theme is perfect for all ages and can be found in the Birthday Party Supplies along with many other themes.  My son just celebrated his birthday so I am sharing some pictures of his birthday bash items.
To create my party decor, I gathered up my party ware and also a few basic scrapbooking supplies, some chevron paper straws and some plain cupcake picks.  I used my electronic die cutter and a couple of SVG files to cut out the party hat, scalloped circle and mustache in a variety of sizes.
I adhered all of items with the Glue Dots.  I used some coordinating paper to wrap the water bottle and added a scalloped circle and mustache for a fun element.
The black and white banner was also embellished with the mustache cut outs for a festive appearance.
The shot glasses were the perfect size for adding some treats available from the Candy store.  I tucked in a cupcake pick as a decorative element.  The mustache box was a fun addition to fill with more treats.
No birthday bash is complete without the yummy goodness of a triple fudge cake.  It was definitely a fan favorite.  Even the cupcake picks were used for scraping every last morsel of chocolate.
I hoped you enjoyed checking out my projects. These items are available in the Scrapbooking & Paper Crafting Store, the Craft Supplies Store, the Candy Store and from the Birthday Party Supplies all from Oriental Trading. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

Oriental Trading - Graduation Centerpiece

Hello!  Today I am sharing a graduation centerpiece using products from Oriental Trading.  It's that time of year to start planning those graduation events and Oriental Trading has some amazing Graduation Party Supplies.  Since my daughter is graduating from college next month, I created a table centerpiece for her special day.
For my project, I went with a simple yet elegant black and white theme.  I gathered up some basic craft supplies all available from Oriental Trading.
I painted my Wood Tray with some black craft paint to keep with my color theme.  Once the paint was dry,  I lined the tray with a sheet of card stock from the Black & White Monochromatic Paper Pack adhering it with the Glue Dots.  The Black Rolled Jewel trim was cut in half and adhered around the jars for a decorative look using my Glue Dots. The Glue Dots secured the trim perfectly and are transparent so the adhesive doesn't show through the trim.
Next, I created some rosettes and embellishments using more papers from the same pack and Black Card Stock.  I used several different dies from my stash to cut out the various embellishments. I also used my electronic die cutter to cut out the "2017" and "Congrats Grad" sentiments.  The black card stock cut perfectly on the light card stock setting.  A bit of washi tape was used to embellish the "2017" flag.  A few graduation caps from the Class of 2017 Confetti pack were added as embellishments on the die cuts.
Once the rosettes were put together, I used the Glue Dots to adhere them to the coordinating Paper Straws.  The straws were tucked into the glass jars with some paper shred to keep them in place.
I hoped you enjoyed checking out my projects. These items are available in the Scrapbooking & Paper Crafting Store, the Craft Supplies Store and from the Graduation Party Supplies all from Oriental Trading. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

Oriental Trading - Easter Treat Jars

Hello!  Today I am sharing some Easter Treat Jars using products from Oriental Trading.  I went with a simple approach to alter my plain treat jars using Easter themed papers.  These papers are a very heavy weight and are double sided so they are perfect for all kinds of crafts.
To create my project, I trimmed the paper at 7.25 inches using my Fiskars SureCut Paper Trimmer.  I inserted the paper inside the jar and then added a 3 inch belly band around the outside of the jar.  All of the papers were securely adhered to the jars with some Glue Dots.  The Glue Dots provided the perfect amount of adhesive on my project.
Using the die cut sheet from the same paper pad, I created a couple of tags for my treat jars.  I started my tag with a simple white scalloped circle using a die and layered it with the die cuts.  A small ribbon bow was tied to each tag.  More Glue Dots were used to adhere the tags, lid toppers and the paper handles to each jar.
I created a coordinating card with the left over papers.  The base of my card was cut out with some dies to add a finishing touch to my card.  I adhered the easter basket on top of the white oval so the colors would pop.
I hoped you enjoyed checking out my projects using my new goodies from Oriental Trading. These items are available in the Scrapbooking & Paper Crafting Store and the Craft Supplies Store from Oriental Trading. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!
