Diva Layout

I created this layout for some pictures of my daughter that were taken last year.  The pictures have very bright pink and red colors and every time I tried to create a layout the colors just appeared to be too overwhelming causing me too "scrap" my layout.  I was finally able to incorporate the colors of the pictures into a layout that I liked.
This layout was created using the Out of Character cartridge for the title and Elegant Edges for the red circles and for the scalloped circle in the center of the layout.
The title was popped up on foam for added dimension and for some interest between the title and the circle behind it.  I added a pearl sticker above the "i" in "Diva".
The photo mats were double matted and accented with some pink and red polka dotted ribbon.
The photo mats were finished off with a button and a Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine bow.  The red and pink twine was the perfect accent for my layout.
I added lots of paper flowers to my layout in coordinating colors.  Each of the flowers were finished off with a pearl sticker center.

Love Layout

Today I have another simple layout to share.  I used my Out of Character cartridge for the title and Paper Lace for all of the hearts.
This patterned paper already had a mat on each of the pages so I simply cut out the title and some hearts for my layout.
For the heart ornaments I added some faux stitching with my white gel pen and hung them with Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine.  I also added a twine bow to finish off the hearts.
For the scattered hearts I used a Martha Stewart border punch and used the negative pieces to add to my layout.
The title was embellished with a couple of pieces of bling and pop dotted on foam to give it some dimension.

Create Layout

I generally don't scrapbook layouts about myself but wanted to memorialize a couple of fun pictures with a crafty friend of mine.  I created a layout which emphasized how much I enjoy scrapbooking. As my kids are getting older I find it easier to sneak into my craft room and create layouts to memorialize all aspects of our lives.
For this layout I used three of my Cricut Circle Cartridges.  The title was cut from Out of Character, the border from Paper Trimmings and the scissors and tags with the sentiments were cut from Cricut Everyday.
To create this layout I started with some patterned paper and added a fancy border frame as another layer for my layout.  The scissors were cut using some metallic silver paper so they would look like a real pair of scissors. A silver brad was added to each of the scissors.
I added the "Create" title to a large tag, the title has six layers which gives it a lot of dimension against the tag.  I also added the "Live, Laugh, Scrap" and "Eat, Sleep, Scrap" sentiments to oversized tags.
Each of the tags were embellished with some paper flowers with pearl centers and some crinkle ribbon topped off with a Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine bow.
Each of the tags were inked on the edges to create some definition between the tag and the background of the layout.

All Boy Layout

This layout was created using the Out of Character cartridge for "Boy" in the title.  The Boys will be Boys cartridge was used to cut "All" and the 2 circles in the background of the layout.
I used the negative cut from a tag that had "All" on it and added it to a large hand cut flag with some white stitching to create the title for my layout.
The layout was finished off with three different sentiments from the My Creative Time Sports Sentiments.  Each of the sentiments were stamped on hand cut flags with some faux stitching.

SWAK Tag

This oversized tag was cut from the Graphically Speaking cartridge.  "SWAK" was cut from the Out of Character cartridge and the kiss was cut from Indie Art.
I inked the edges of the tag and used lots of glitter glue to embellish the kiss.  I also added some paper flowers with bling centers along with a couple of strips of decorative tape.  The tag was finished off with Twisted Lime and Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine.

Birthday Layout

This bright layout was created with the Out of Character cartridge for the "Birthday" title and the Birthday Bash cartridge for the circle under the title and for the candles.
Since the patterned paper is so festive I decided to keep my die cuts very simple for this layout.
I cut out 10 candles and embossed them with the D'Vine Swirls and Spots and Dots Cuttlebug embossing folders.  I used some Stickles on the embossed candle flames and them wrapped them with Blue Berry Trendy Twine with a button center.  The photo mats were also accented with more twine.
The title was centered on a simple circle however some hand cut flags in coordinating colors were added all the way around the circle to highlight the title.
