Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello everyone!  I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a double page layout to share featuring Grape Fizz Trendy Twine.  The Latte Stack from DCWV had the perfect papers for a wine themed layout.  I used a variety of Cricut cartridges in Design Space to created my layout pages.  I also used the writing feature on my Explore to write the title of the layout on a tag.  Even though I don't use the writing feature very often, I do love the way the tag looks.

The purple papers coordinating perfectly with the Grape Fizz twine.  I used it to accent the grapes, the tag and photo mats.  The twine was twisted tightly on a thin pick to get the curled look for the grape vines.  I slightly wet the twine with a mixture of glue and water prior to twisting it on the pick.

I scattered some coordinating bling on the lattice edge behind the photo mat.  The rustic layout seemed to need a bit of sparkle and shine from the bling.

Best of Times Layout

This simple layout was created using the Phrases cartridge for the title and the Carousel Lite cartridge for the roller coaster, banners and ticket.

I used a large photo mat so that I could display four pictures on the page.  A small banner was attached to the bottom of the photo mat outlined in Black Licorice Trendy Twine.

The title was added to the center of the large photo mat.  Some foam pop dots were used for added dimension.

A tag from my stash was added to the layout with a fabric "vacation" sticker, some ribbon, more twine and a banner.

Happy Day Layout

As we approach the end of summer, I created this layout to for a family trip to an amusement park, one of my favorite things during the summer.  I used the Phrases cartridge for the title and the Carousel Lite cartridge for both ferris wheels.

The layout was kept fairly simple to provide plenty of space to display amusement park pictures.

The title was popped up on foam dots for added dimension.  Two small hand cut flags were added next to the ferris wheel for a pop of color.

A few colored pearls were added to the center of each ferris wheel to coordinate with the patterned paper.

The flag was hand cut to which a sticker from my stash was attached.  A small bow in Midnight Trendy Twine finished off the layout.

Ticket 2 Fun Layout

Today I have a red, white and blue layout to share.  This two page 12x12 layout was created using the Cheerful Seasons cartridge for "Fun" in the title and the Mickey Font cartridge for the "2" in the title.

The banner was cut out twice from the Carousel lite cartridge and the stars are from Phrases.

I created a large photo mat so that multiple 4x4 pictures could be displayed on a single page.

The ticket in the title and the border were cut from a full page that I had in my stack.  I used foam dots for the title for added dimension.

I added Sky Trendy Twine to the title, along the banner and to the metal charm.

The flag was hand cut to which I will add a sentiment or some journaling, I will have a better idea as soon as I add my pictures to the layout.

Good Times Layout

Today is my turn over on the Trendy Twine blog and I am sharing a layout which was created using three different cartridges, Phrases for the "good times" title, Carousel for the merry-go-round and ticket booth and Cheerful Seasons for the "fun" tag.

I used a vibrant color scheme to reflect the bright colors of the pictures taken at an amusement park.

The title was added to a large hand cut flag to give it some definition.  I added some Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine to the title which is on sale this month.

A small ticket from my stash was added to the front of the ticket booth and finished off with a twine bow and some bling.

The "laughter" metal tag was adhered to a handcut flag.  The merry-go-round was also embellished to coordinate with the ticket booth along with some Stickles.

Lucky Day Layout

Today is my design day over at Trendy Twine and I created this two page layout for my project. I used a total of four cartridges; Phrases for the title, Simply Charmed for the pot of gold, Sesame Street Seasons for the clouds and rainbow and Teddy Bear Parade for the bears.

This Saint Patrick's Day themed layout features Twisted Lime Trendy Twine which was used on the photo mats and on the die cuts.

I added beads to the ends of the twine and tied a knot to hold the beads in place.  The shamrock from the title was used as a separate die cut on each of the pages.

The pot of gold was embossed with the Tiny Bubbles Cuttlebug embossing folder and some Stickles were added to the gold.

Both bears were stamped with the Peachy Keen Critter Faces Stamp set.  Their hats were embossed with the Argyle Cuttlebug embossing folder.

For the rainbow, I outlined the edges with Trendy Twine in Cranberry, Orangesicle and Lemon Tart. The clouds were embossed with the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder.
