Birthday Wishes

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a project for my design team post over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  I have a happy and bright card to share which is perfect for a Spring or Summer Birthday.
I found the patterned scrap of pink, white and black paper in my stash which coordinated perfectly with the solid colors.
I used each of the solid card stock sheets and cut out all of the Stitched Flowers knowing I would have enough for 2 cards.  I also cut out a couple of leaves from the same set and a banner from the Retro Tag Toppers.
I put 5 of the flowers together layering the different colors.  I added some foam dots to the back of each of the flowers for added dimension.
Once I created my card base, I anchored 3 of the flowers to fill up the center of my card base.
Next, I placed the remaining flowers clustering them together.  The leaves were trimmed and tucked in amongst the flowers.  I also added 3 of the flower centers as extra embellishments.
The finishing touch was a heat embossed sentiment from the Pink & Main Hello Sweet stamp set.  I curved the sentiment along the banner so it fit perfectly.
Here are the dies I used on my card, available in the shop:

True Story Layout

Hello!  This layout page is the second page of a layout page I had previously created.  I used papers from the Paper House "Be Happy" paper pad.
I used stamped sentiments from Pink & Main to tell the story on my layout page.  I used some dies and punches to add the flowers to my layout page.  A bit of Trendy Twine was adhered along the tiny banner.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

All Things Grow With Love Card

Happy Friday!  Today I have a quick card to share which I created for the challenge going on over at Pink and Main.  I used the Seeds of Kindness stamp set and watercolored the image.  The center of the watering can was paper pieced with the pink polka dot paper to give my project an extra pop of color.  A bit of Wink of Stella was added to the flower centers for a sparkly affect.
I cut out the image with a circle die and layered it on a banner die cut.  A sentiment from the same Pink and Main stamp set was stamped on the base of my card.  The finishing accent were some coordinating enamel dots.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

Sweet Birthday

Hello, today I have a sweet birthday card I created with some fun products that I've been hoarding in my craft room.  I picked out the papers from the Paper House Surf, Sun, Sand paper pad which coordinated perfectly with the adorable Paper House Sticker Flakes.  I used a few different dies for the base of my card and adhered the stickers on top.
The oversized sentiment is one of my favorites and is from the Pink & Main "Hello Sweet" stamp set.   The puffy clips are also from the same collection and were too cute not to show off in my pictures.
I stamped another sentiment from the same stamp set on the inside of my card.  Some Paper House washi tape and the same papers were used to decorate the inside of my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Love Card

Hello!  This love themed card was created with some non-traditional colors but definitely one of my favorite combinations.  My card was inspired by the large sentiment from the Pink & Main True Love stamp set.  I adore the fun font.
A die cut from the Lacey Lattice Circle Die Set provided the perfect decorative element along the edge of my card.  The heart banner was cut twice and layered for added dimension.  The banner is from the Gina Marie Designs Party Banners Die Set.  A few enamel dots were the finishing touch on my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a spectacular day!

So Thankful for You

Hello! Today I have a card to share for the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday.   The focal point of my card was created with the Momenta (Art-C) Feathers Stamp & Die set.  I opted to emboss my feathers and not use the stamps.  Each of the feathers were cut out in a different color, embossed and inked on the edges.
Next, I added a button and twine bow in Orange Truffle Trendy Twine on top of the feathers.  The sentiment is from the Pink and Main Thankful stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Twine - Thank You

Hello, I have a Fall themed project to share over on the Trendy Twine blog.  I started my project with the kraft Gable Box and used the Triburst Background Stencil from Gina Marie Designs with some Distress Ink to create the pattern on my box.  I used the same stencil for my card, however, I used some embossing paste along with several colors of Distress Inks to create the background of my card.
I layered my card with a small doily, a couple of die cut feathers from the Momenta Art-C Feathers Stamp & Die set and a Kraft Tag-Its.  I stamped the tag with a sentiment from the APB Happy Thanksgiving stamp set.  The tag was tied to my card with some gorgeous Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine.
My Gable Box was embellished with a couple of more feathers, a small button and more twine.  I also created a belly band for the Gable Box, adding a coordinating doily behind the belly band and wrapping it with more twine.  The sweet fox is from the Pink & Main Wild About You stamp set and was the finishing accent on my project.
All of the crafty goodies used on my project are available over at Annie's Paper Boutique.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

May All Your Wishes Come True

Hello!  Today I am sharing a card that I created using scraps of paper left over from other projects and several different dies from my stash.  The lavender and polka dot papers are from the DCWV Watercolor Ombre stack which were the inspiration for my card.  I die cut a circle using the CottageCutz Stitched Circle Set and then sliced parts of the circle with the same die.  I laid the sliced pieces to create a patchwork circle with the polka dotted peek through pattern.  The doily was die cut and layered underneath the circle.
For the base of my card, I adhered two different colors and ran them through my manual die cutter using a postage stamp die.  The flower was also die cut then rolled, pinched and layered for the 3D effect.  A sentiment from the Pink & Main Dandelion Stamp Set finished off my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

Birthday Wishes

Hello!  Today I have another inky project to share using some Oxide Inks and stamps.  I'm loving the Oxide Inks and I can't wait to pick up the new colors that were just released.  For this card I used 2 colors to create a unique looking background for my card.
I used Fired Brick and Faded Jeans and did some random ink blending on my card base.  The ink blenders gave the card stock a smooth, chalky finish.  Next I added the Medium Round Medallion stamp from Victorine Originals to a stamping block and sprayed it with some water.  I stamped the Medallion randomly all over my card base, removing some of the access water off of the card base by dabbing it.
As my card base dried, I used the same stamp and heat embossed it on a piece of paper with Ranger Super Fine White Embossing Power.  Then I added the Fired Brick ink over the embossed image, again wiping off any access ensuring the white embossed image looked bright.
I mixed a bit of acrylic white paint with some water and splattered my card base with it.  While waiting for my card base to dry, I fussy cut the medallion.  I used some Classic Navy Trendy Twine and Pink and Main's Hello Sweet stamp set to add to my card.  The sentiment was stamped on a Fish Tail Banner from Gina Marie Designs and wrapped with the twine. A few Ocean Sparkle Enamel Dots were the perfect finishing touch on my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Easter Card

Hello!  Today I have an Easter card to share which I created to play along with the Spring challenge going on over and Pink & Main.  I used the Pink & Main Seeds of Kindness stamp set for the adorable bunny and used a die to cut out the frame.  A small bow in Totally Black Trendy Twine finished off the frame.
I layered the frame on a couple die cut Stitched Ovals from CottageCutz.  Everything was layered on a base frame cut with Gina Marie Designs Loopy Rectangles Die Set.  I just love being able to combine different dies from my stash to create the perfect layered look.  The base layer papers are from the DCWV Watercolor Ombre stack.

DCWV - March Stack-a-holic Challenge

Hello!  It's the beginning of the month and that means it's time for another challenge over at DCWV! I created a card for the challenge using papers from the new DCWV Watercolor Ombre stack.  The light to dark shades of color in this stack are simply gorgeous and the fact that the papers are double sided makes it a must have stack.
For my card, I cut the base with the Scalloped Stitched Nested Rectangle Dies from Gina Marie Designs and embossed it with the Cuttlebug Decorative Tiles embossing folder.
I used a simple flower die to create the 3D flowers.  Each layer of flower was inked on the edges for added dimension.  It took a bit of rolling and manipulating of the paper to form the perfect flowers.  I added a bling sticker to the center as an accent.  The back side of the polka dotted paper was used for the punched greenery.  A sentiment from the Pink & Main Dandelion stamp set finished off my card.
Here is the card sketch for this month's challenge:

DCWV - Love

Hello!  I have this unconventional Valentine's Day card to share today over on the DCWV blog. Since we are only a few weeks away from Valentine's Day I thought I would whip out a card for my hubby.  I know he always appreciates my handmade cards.  I used the DCWV Watercolor stack for my card and a few different dies to cut out the pieces for my card.
I stamped a sentiment from the Pink & Main True Love stamp set on the center of my card and added a twine banner from some Totally Pink Trendy Twine.  Several die cut hearts were adhered along the banner and also layered next to the sentiment.

DCWV and Pink & Main Fun Fall Blog Hop

Happy Friday!  I am super excited to be part of the fun Fall Blog Hop with DCWV and Pink & Main. You will see some amazing projects from the 2 design teams and even a couple of giveaways.  You should have come over to my blog from Monique's blog.
For my project, I created a hostess gift bag with the 12x12 DCWV Autumn Leaves stack.  I used my Cricut Explore and a SVG file shared in one of the Cricut groups to cut out my gift bag.
The gift bag was embellished with a few coordinating bling stickers and a small tag tied with some May Arts ribbon.  I embellished the tag with a couple of feathers from the Pink & Main Wild About You stamp set.  The matching Pink & Main die set made it so easy to cut out the feathers.
For my card I used both the 6x6 and 12x12 Autumn Leaves stacks.   A few more feathers were added to the front of the card along with the sweet fox (also from the Pink & Main Wild About You stamp set) which was colored with my Chameleon Pens. The finishing touch was a sentiment from the Pink & Main Thankful stamp set.
Next on the hop is Stacey, so head on over to check out her amazing project.  Don't forget to head over to the DCWV and Pink & Main blogs to check out all of the amazing projects and comment to be entered into the giveaways!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fantastic day!
