Becky's Birthday Blog Hop

Today I am joining Becky for her Birthday Blog Hop.  If you are visiting the blogs in order, you should have come from Gina's blog.  If you just came across my blog and want to start at the beginning, please start at Becky's blog, she also has the line up for the entire blog hop.  Now on to my project:
Birthday Girl Layout

For this layout I used four different cartridges.  The paper for my layout came from the Die Cuts With A View Rockstar Stack.  The title of the layout was cut from the Once Upon A Princess cartridge at 4.0 inches.
The mat is cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge at 10.5 inches.  I cut the mat in half so it would be symmetrical on the two pages.  I added some faux stitching to the mat with a white gel pen.
The presents were cut from the Birthday Bash cartridge at 9.0 inches.  I used the Swiss Dots and Seeing Spots Cuttlebug embossing folders to emboss the presents along with some stickles and a white gel pen for embellishment.
The girl was cut from the Rock Princess cartridge at 10.0 inches.  I used some stickles and a white gel pen to embellish her.
I used the Perfectly Paisley Cuttlebug embossing folder and some black ribbon to embellish the photo mats.
All of the die cuts were popped up on foam dots for added dimension.  I used my white gel pen to add extra detail.
Please remember to become a follower and leave a comment on each of the blogs to be entered to win Becky's blog candy.  Your next stop will be Stephanie's blog.  Thanks for celebrating Becky's Birthday by hopping with us!

Diva Layout

This is a one page 12x12 layout that I made some time ago.  This is probably my first layout that I made when I finally felt comfortable using my Cricut Expression.
This layout was made with the Hannah Montana and Rock Princess cartridges.  The frame and title are cut from Hannah Montana and the strawberry vines and crown are cut from Rock Princess.
I used Core'dinations glitter cardstock in black for the frame, title and strawberry vines.  This paper cuts very nicely in the Expression, however, you do have to remember to use the multi-cut feature.
I used some stickles, bling and white faux stitching to add the little extra details to my layout.
