Trendy Twine Design Day
Merry Christmas Eve! I am back over on the Trendy Twine blog with a fun and whimsical layout in anticipation of some sweet Christmas pictures tomorrow. Over the past month as I was working on my holiday creations, I stashed away some extra die cuts for this layout.
The gingerbread men were cut from Just Because Cards, the elf from Jolly Holidays, the penguins from Simply Charmed and the snowmen heads from Joys of the Season. I used Peachy Keen Stamps for their adorable faces.
A die from my stash was used for the sentiment tags. All of the sentiments are from the Scrappy Moms Picture Perfect stamp set. The sentiment tags were accented with some pearl stickers.
My layout was embellished with touches of Tickled Pink Trendy Twine. It was the perfect accent for my non-traditional layout.
The snowflakes were created from different punches in my stash. I added a few pink sequins from Annie's Paper Boutique to each of the pages.
Don't forget to stop by the store to check out all of the amazing twine colors, many are still on sale this month. You will also find lots of products for all of your crafting needs. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a Merry Christmas. I hope to see you back here tomorrow as I will be part of a special Christmas Day post along with the rest of the Trendy Twine Design Team.

Trendy Twine Design Day
Hello today is my design day over at Trendy Twine and I have a sneak peek of a simple project. I created a gift card holder using a lime chevron bag from Annie's Paper Boutique. I simply layered it with some fun papers, folded the top over and tied a cute bow with Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine. I added a couple of jingle bells to the twine. A sentiment tag using the Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set was tucked under the twine. The penguin was cut from the Simply Charmed cartridge. I stamped his face with a Peachy Keen Face stamp and added a cute little twine bow to him.
Check out the store for these adorable bags, they come in several fun colors. There is still time to purchase some holiday twine and lots of other fun packaging! Pop over to the Trendy Twine blog to see my entire project and have a great day!

Lucky Day Layout
Today is my design day over at Trendy Twine and I created this two page layout for my project. I used a total of four cartridges; Phrases for the title, Simply Charmed for the pot of gold, Sesame Street Seasons for the clouds and rainbow and Teddy Bear Parade for the bears.
This Saint Patrick's Day themed layout features Twisted Lime Trendy Twine which was used on the photo mats and on the die cuts.
Both bears were stamped with the Peachy Keen Critter Faces Stamp set. Their hats were embossed with the Argyle Cuttlebug embossing folder.
For the rainbow, I outlined the edges with Trendy Twine in Cranberry, Orangesicle and Lemon Tart. The clouds were embossed with the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder.

I added beads to the ends of the twine and tied a knot to hold the beads in place. The shamrock from the title was used as a separate die cut on each of the pages.
The pot of gold was embossed with the Tiny Bubbles Cuttlebug embossing folder and some Stickles were added to the gold. Both bears were stamped with the Peachy Keen Critter Faces Stamp set. Their hats were embossed with the Argyle Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Merry Christmas Layout
Today is my design day over at Trendy Twine and I have this double page 12x12 Christmas layout to share.
This layout was created using the Joys of the Season cartridge for all of the die except for the candy canes. All of the candy canes were cut from the Simply Charmed cartridge.
The train was accented with Candy Cane Trendy Twine and linked together using Black Licorice. The candy cane banner was joined together using Holly Berry twine.
I added a Santa brad, a button elf, gingerbread buttons and some gifts to the train. Each of the gifts were topped off with a Trendy Twine bow. A few little candy canes and chipboard candies finished off the train.
The title was popped up on foam dots for added dimension. Each of the photo mats were accented with a triple bow to give the appearance of large gifts.
The hand cut tag and flag were both stamped with a sentiments from the My Creative Time "All Around Christmas" stamp set. A large button with a Holly Berry bow was the perfect accent to the scalloped circle.

Happy Fall Layout
As it gets closer to winter I have ones last fall layout to share which was created using the Simply Charmed cartridge.
To give the layout more of a rustic appearance and to add dimension I inked the edges of the die cuts.
The faces of the scarecrows were hidden using my Gypsy. I used the "Too Much Fun Faces" Peachy Keen Stamps for the faces of the scarecrows. I also added some chalk to their cheeks and a little bit of doodling with my white gel pen.
The title of the layout was embellished with a large sunflower button. I added some jute twine bows to each of the photo mats.
The hair for the scarecrows was created with Lemon Tart Trendy Twine and the pumpkins were embellished with some Orange Truffle Trendy Twine.
The tree on my layout had a bat attached to it which I simply trimmed off and added a few leaves from the EK Success "Fall Leaf" punch.

Berry Sweet Layout
This layout was created for some pictures of my niece who was a strawberry for Halloween and at only 7 months old she definitely was berry sweet.
I used the Simply Charmed cartridge for the die cuts on my layout. With the strawberry themed patterned paper this layout was super simple to create.
The strawberries were embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder and inked on the edges for some dimension.
I used Berry Red Trendy Twine to embellish a few of the die cuts. A tiny bit of Twisted Lime Trendy Twine was used for the stem of the strawberry on the right page.

Rainy Day Layout
I found this fun rain themed paper at Michaels and couldn't wait to create a layout using it. I used the Simply Charmed cartridge for the title, clouds and raindrops. The Paisley cartridge was used for the umbrella and boots.
I used my Gypsy to hide several of the features on each of the die cuts in order to add my own embellishments.
The D'vine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder was used to emboss the clouds and the Seeing Spots Cuttlebug embossing folder was used to emboss the boots.
I added a few paper flowers to the boots, umbrella and title with the thought of "April Showers Bring May Flowers". A little bit of Posy Trendy Twine and bling were also added as an embellishment.
To finish off my layout I added some faux stitching with my white gel pen. I also added a little bit of doodling to the raindrops.
