Trendy Twine - Ho Ho Ho! Layout

Today I have a layout page to share over on the Trendy Twine blog featuring some Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine.  I'm loving this festive twist of red and light blue, it is so fun for holiday creations. My layout page started with some festive paper from the DCWV Merry Little Christmas Stack which I have had for a couple of years.  I used the adorable kids from the Peachkins SVG file from Peachy Keen Stamps and added a Santa hat to each of them. Their faces were stamped with the "In the Garden Babies" Peachy Keen Stamps.
The title was cut from the Elmo and Friends Holiday cartridge and I added a string of lights to their hands cut from the Winter Frolic cartridge.  I used the twine to accent the string of lights, the set of gifts and the photo mats.  A sentiment from the APB This is December stamp set was stamped on a tag tied to the photo mat.
Head on over to the store to check out this gorgeous twine for those holiday projects along with all kinds of crafty goodies.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

Happy Father's Day

Today we have a special post over on the Trendy Twine blog to share some Father's Day projects.  I went with a "photo booth props" style card for my project which was created with the Mustaches and Glasses file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The masculine papers came from the DCWV Treasures Stack, they were perfect for my card.  The button was cut from the Stork's Delivery cartridge and embellished with some coordinating Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine. The twine was also wrapped around the base of the card as an accent.
A small hand cut flag from the same paper was layered beneath the twine accent and stamped with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Countless Occasions (retired) stamp set.
Please head over to the Trendy Twine blog to check out all of the amazing projects created by my design team sisters.  Also, remember to check out the gorgeous twine and craft supplies available in the store.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy, Happy Birthday Card

Today I have a card to share which I created to give to my daughter for her birthday tomorrow.  I used the "All That Glitters" challenge over at Scrappy Moms as the inspiration for my card and used a Spring floral theme.  The cupcake and frame were both cut from the Stork's Delivery cartridge.  I added some Stickles to my cupcake frosting and to the candle flame for a glittery effect.
A few scattered sequins added a little more sparkle.  I punched some flowers with two different sized Fiskars punches and added some coordinating pearl centers.  A sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Birthday Hugs stamps set was popped up on foam dots for added dimension.  My card was finished off with a large satin ribbon bow created with May Arts embroidery satin ribbon from Annie's Paper Boutique.

Little Princess Cards

In order to build up my stash I created a set of baby cards using the Stork's Delivery cartridge.  I used some cards from the the dollar spot at Michaels and added the cute little onsie on the hanger.  The onsie was embellished with some lace ribbon and Cotton Candy Trendy Twine.
I added hand cut tags stamped with the "Little Princess" sentiment from Docerela Creations Mix & Match I stamp set.  The tags were attached with some more Cotton Candy twine and embellished with a purple bling heart.
The cards were finished off with some paper flowers with bling centers and accented with some coordinating tulle.

Baby Layout

This layout was created using the Stork's Delivery cartridge by "repurposing" the die cuts from another project.  Initially I had created a baby banner for a work baby shower.
The banner had just been laying around so I took the die cuts from the banner to create a layout for some pictures of my niece.
This layout was super easy to create since the background paper already had a pattern, a border and a little giraffe on it.
Each of the die cuts were popped up on foam for extra dimension.
I used five different Cuttlebug embossing folders to give some extra texture to the die cuts.
The die cuts were embellished with some Posy Trendy Twine creating a soft vintage affect.
The little onesie and the booties are two of my favorite cuts on this layout.  I thought the little hanger was just adorable.

Onesie Banner

This is my other banner that I created for a work baby shower.  This banner was really simple since it was hung above the gift table.
This banner was created using the Birthday Bash cartridge for the banner base and the Stork's Delivery cartridge for the onesies.
I used my white gel pen to add some faux stitching to the banner and added a few paper flowers.  The banner was hung with some tulle.
The onesies are all cut from different patterned papers and embellished with some lace and my favorite embellishment which is Trendy Twine in Cotton Candy.

Baby Banner

I created this layout for a baby shower at work.  The banner pieces were cut from the Birthday Bash cartridge and all of the remaining pieces were cut from Stork's Delivery.
I embossed the circle on the banner with the Polka Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder and continued the embossing theme on my die cuts. I used a total of six different embossing folders for the banner.
Each of the die cuts were embellished with some Posy Trendy Twine and I used the same twine to hang the banner.  This seems to be my go to twine color lately.
The banner was finished off with some paper flowers with bling centers.
