Coffee Time Layout

Today I have a double page layout to share over on the KaDoodle Bug Designs blog.  I am totally loving all of the coffee themed Shoptastic Cuties and thought they would make a fun layout page.  I used the Coffee Pot Cutie, the Togo Coffee Cutie and the Coffee Cup Cutie.  I also used the Coffee Cup Cutie to cut out the smaller togo cups by shrinking them down and adding a heart in the center.
I went to my stash of goodies and found a chipboard clock and some doilies which all coordinated perfectly with my layout.  The title was cut from the Designer's Calendar and Reminisce Accent Cricut cartridges.  Each of the words for the title were on a different cartridge.  I also cut out a coffee themed tag from the Summer Celebrations cartridge.
A bit of Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine was used to accent my layout page.  The finishing touch was a journaling tag and some kraft paper flowers with bling centers.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello everyone!  I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a coffee themed double paged layout featuring Cherry Latte Trendy Twine.  This double page layout is a fun representation of my recently found love for coffee.
I created the layout pages using Cafe Coffee Girls cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The girls face was stamped with Rosie's Favorites Face Assortment Peachy Keen Stamps.  The die cuts for my layout came from the Love You A Latte, Holly & Ivy and Summer Celebrations Cricut cartridges.
Some fun washi tape was adhered along the top and bottom edge of my layout pages.  I did a lot of embellishing with the Cherry Latte Trendy Twine.  Not only did I outline several of the cuts on my page with the twine, I also used it as an accent, the color combination was perfect.  All of the sentiments are from the Scrappy Moms Freshly Brewed stamp set.
Head on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to pick up this gorgeous twine.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello everyone!  I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a 4th of July layout featuring Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine.  I went for a fun and festive theme using the Moo-velous BBQ cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The 4th of July title and flags were cut from the Summer Celebrations cartridge and the BBQ Time title was cut from the Create A Friend cartridge.
I used several different red, white and blue patterns to keep with the patriotic theme.  A bit of striped washi was adhered to the photo mat.  The twine was used to highlight some of the cuts on my page and I also added a whimsical twist by looping the twine next the photo mat.  This technique helps to accent the photo on a busy layout page.
Head on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to pick up this Stars & Stripes twine for those patriotic projects.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have an awesome day!

Road Trip Layout

This layout was created for our family road trip pictures.  I used the Summer Celebrations cartridge for all of the die cuts.
For my layout, I added a coordinating border to the center of the solid card stock which had a road trip theme.
The photo mats had three layers to give them some dimension and to coordinate with the center border.
For the handle of the suitcase, I wrapped some Berry Red Trendy Twine and added a sentiment to the front.  The suitcase was also inked on the edges to give it more of a rustic appearance.
All of the sentiments came from the Fiskars "Away We Go Road Trip" stamp set.  I hand cut the flags to use for the sentiments and also matted the stamped images on coordinating card stock.
For the car and camper tires, I used the Herringbone Cuttlebug embossing folder and added a brad to each of the tire centers.

Lazy Summer Days Layout

This layout was created with a couple of challenges in mind.  I challenged myself to participate in the Trendy Twine challenge even though as a Design Team member I don't qualify to win the prize. Remember you still have a few days to enter the challenge to win some Trendy Twine.  I found this patterned paper in my stash which made my layout super easy to create using the Summer Celebrations cartridge.
I only added four die cuts to my layout with lots of little embellishments to create this little outdoor scene.
I used the D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder for the tree top, Herringbone for the tire and Houndstooth for the basket on the bike.
I tied some Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine to the tire swing and created a couple of twine butterflies with Blue Berry and Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.  The twine butterflies were created by wrapping some twine around a fork and just tying the center with a different color of twine, very simple to create.
Blue Berry twine was also used to embellish the bike.  I added a fun sentiment from Docerela Creations "Summertime" stamp set.
Some bling butterflies also completed the scene.  I added some paper flowers to the bicycle basket with some pearl stickers for the centers.  A few buttons accented with Trendy Twine finished off my layout.
