Scrappy Moms Stamps - November Release Day

Welcome to the Scrappy Moms Stamps November Release Day!  We have 2 new stamp sets to share with you today:  In the End Zone and Local Lingo!  I created a fun coach's card as the football season is wrapping up at my son's high school.
I cut out the teddy bear football player from the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge and stamped his face with the Peachy Keen Teddy Bear Assortment stamps.  The grass border was punched with the Fiskars border punch and I tucked in an extra football which was cut from the same cartridge, however in a larger size.  The sentiment is from the new "In the End Zone" stamp set.
Here's a closer look at the new stamp sets, available here:

Tuesday Terrific Challenge - Saddle Up, Western Theme

Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps.  Our theme for this challenge is "Saddle Up, Western Theme".   For my project, I created a sweet birthday card with the Teddy Bear Parade and County Fair cartridges.  I stamped the bear's face with the Cute and Cuddly Face Assortment Peachy Keen Stamps.
The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Cowboy Up stamp set; stamped on a hand cut tag and embellished with some silver bling.  The bling was also added to the corners of the "wanted" poster. The finishing touch was a lasso created with some Totally Kraft Trendy Twine and attached to the bear's hand.  A bit more twine was adhered to the sentiment tag.
Please stop by Scrappy Moms Stamps to check out all of the design team projects and to link up your "Western" themed project to win a stamp set of your choice.  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Docerela Creations "Teacher's Pet" Release and Challenge

Today is challenge day over at Docerela Creations and we are showcasing the "Teacher's Pet' stamp set.
The new challenge is to use a border on your project.  For my card, I used 2 different borders.  One was cut from a patterned sheet of paper and the other was punched with the Notebook Fiskars punch.
I used the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge to cut the school girl bear and the Graphically Speaking cartridge to cut the star.  I stamped the star with a sentiment from the new Teacher's Pet stamp set.  The small notebook with the A+ was also stamped from the same stamp set.  A small twine bow in Celebration Trendy Twine finished off the card.
This fun stamp set is perfect for back to school projects and is available in the shop now.  There is more inspiration from the design time on their blogs:

Docerela Creations "Spa Time" Stamp Release and Challenge

Today is challenge day over at Docerela Creations and we are showcasing the "Spa Time" stamp set. This is a brand new stamp set being released today.
The challenge was to create a gift.   For my project, I created a "sour cream" container treat holder and a card gift set.
I used the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge to cut the spa themed bear and used Peachy Keen Stamps for the bear's face.  Some Trendy Twine in Stormy and Strawberry Cupcake was added as an embellishment. The sentiment was stamped on a tag from my stash.
The "sour cream" container has some mini polishes inside for a gift.  A couple of hand cut flags with sentiments from the new stamp set was the perfect finishing touch.
Check out the store for the new stamps and come link up your "gifts" for the new challenge.  Just for today, we have a special on the "Spa Time" stamp set and nail polish.

Bee Happy Layout

Today is my design day over at Trendy Trendy and I created this double page 12x12 layout.  The layout was designed using three different cartridges, Teddy Bear Parade for the "bee" bear, Sentimentals for the title and the flying bee and Teresa Collins Basics for the honeycomb and scalloped circle.
To create this layout, I used some scraps I had left over from other projects.  The colors seemed to work well with the cuts for this layout.  A couple of flags were also hand cut from the scraps.
I used the EK Success Pointed Flower Punch along the border at the bottom of the layout.  The photo mats were tied with a bow from Lemon Tart Trendy Twine.
The top layer of the title was embossed with the Preserves Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The bee was embellished with Stickles and some pearl stickers.  A twine flight path was added with the bee flying away.
I added lots of different paper flowers to the layout.  Pearl stickers were used for the centers of the flowers.
The "bee" bear was inked on the edges and embellished with Stickles.  I used the Peachy Keen Critter Faces stamps for the face.  A double Trendy Twine bow with a paper flower finished off the "bee" bear.

Bunny Hop

Hello and welcome to the Trendy Twine Bunny Hop!
Thanks for joining our hop today featuring Bubblegum Taffy twine.  We are showcasing color number 45 in the Trendy Twine line up.  This color is a twist of aqua, pink and white and is the perfect combination for Spring projects.
My project is a double page 12x12 layout.  The title for my layout was cut from the 3 Birds on a Parade cartridge, the fence from My Community, the eggs from Sugar and Spice and the bunnies from Teddy Bear Parade.
The Sizzix Woodgrain folder was used to emboss the fence for added texture.  The grass was punched with the Fiskars border punch.  The fence and grass were both inked on the edges.
The bunny faces were stamped with the Peachy Keen Animal Faces stamp set.  A couple of buttons with Bubblegum Taffy twine were adhered to the eggs.  The twine was also added to the bunnies, the title and the photo mats.
I loved the title for this layout, I plan to add a couple of picture of my niece to this layout.  The twine outline on the photo mats with the rolled ends was the perfect accent to highlight the pictures.
The next stop on the hop is Dawn.  Visit the store here to purchase the new twine color.

Lucky Day Layout

Today is my design day over at Trendy Twine and I created this two page layout for my project. I used a total of four cartridges; Phrases for the title, Simply Charmed for the pot of gold, Sesame Street Seasons for the clouds and rainbow and Teddy Bear Parade for the bears.
This Saint Patrick's Day themed layout features Twisted Lime Trendy Twine which was used on the photo mats and on the die cuts.
I added beads to the ends of the twine and tied a knot to hold the beads in place.  The shamrock from the title was used as a separate die cut on each of the pages.
The pot of gold was embossed with the Tiny Bubbles Cuttlebug embossing folder and some Stickles were added to the gold.
Both bears were stamped with the Peachy Keen Critter Faces Stamp set.  Their hats were embossed with the Argyle Cuttlebug embossing folder.
For the rainbow, I outlined the edges with Trendy Twine in Cranberry, Orangesicle and Lemon Tart. The clouds were embossed with the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder.
Aren't all of these twine colors fabulous?  Check them out in the store in addition to many other colors. Come link up your creations over at the Trendy Twine monthly challenge.
