HB2U Card

Hello! This CAS card came together very quickly using some scraps of paper left over from another project.  The background paper has a beautiful textured appearance.  I layered the chevron paper on the die cut background for a pop of color.
The doily was cut from the Momenta Doily die and adhered over a hand cut flag.  Next I used the Momenta Alphabet and Numbers Cutting Templates.  A simple bow in Totally Grape Trendy Twine finished off my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

You Make My Heart Flutter

Hello!  Today I have another Valentine's Day card to share for my guest designer post for the Scrapping Cottage.  Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays and these new Valentine's dies makes it so easy to create some adorable cards.
I used the Lovebug Butterfly and the Lovebug Bee & Ladybug dies to cut out these sweet die cuts. The squares were cut from the Stitched Rounded Square Set.  I went with a pink and red theme and inked everything on the edges.  A bit of chalk was added to the cheeks along with a tiny dot with a white gel pen.
Each of the die cuts were adhered to the squares.  I found the perfect papers in my stash from an older Martha Stewart paper pad.  The pink, red and white papers complimented my die cuts perfectly.
I hand cut a small rectangle tag and heat embossed it with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Crazy for you stamp set.  I hole punched the tag on each of the ends.  The hole reinforcements were punched with the We R Memory Keepers Hole Reinforcer Punch.  The tag was adhered to the bottom of my card and tied with some Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.
The adorable die cuts were aligned in a row above the sentiment tag.  I absolutely love these cute die cuts.
Here are the dies I used on my card which are currently on sale here

I Love You - With All My Heart

Hello!  I'm sharing another project for the Cottage Cutz Valentine's die release as their guest designer. The design team has been sharing the most adorable projects over on the Scrapping Cottage blog over the last few days.
My card was created with the Valentine Hedgehog and Double Stitched Square die sets.  This outdoor scene came together very quickly with a bit of inking and some sparkly accents.  I adhered a bow in Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine to the top of the banner for a bit of texture.  The finishing touch was a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms (retired) With All My Heart stamp set.

Be My Valentine

Hello!  I have another card to share today showcasing the new Cottage Cutz Valentine's die release.  I absolutely adore these sweet hedgehogs, they are the cutest.  This sweet scene was created by combing the Hedgehogs in Love with the oversized heart and sentiment from the Be My Valentine Puppies die set.
This "pretty in pink' scene incorporates several shades of pink amongst the hearts, flowers and sentiment. A bit of Totally Pink Trendy Twine served as the back drop for a popped up sentiment from the Scrappy Moms (retired) With All My Heart stamp set.

Valentine Cottage

Hello!  Today I'm participating in showcasing the Cottage Cutz Valentine's die release over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  The Valentine's and St. Patrick's Day dies are so cute, I know they will be the focus of my projects for the next couple of months.  For today's project, I used the Valentine Cottage and Valentine Phrase & More die sets.
I cut out the Valentine Cottage and sentiment, inked everything on the edges and layered them on the Nested Wacky Stitched Rectangle frame.  I love how the sentiment connects the entire scene together.  The patterned papers add the perfect amount of curb appeal.
I always love to add a bit of sparkle and shine to my creations so I went with my Wink of Stella pen and added some glitter accents to the windows and to the hearts on the flag, flower, fence and shrubs. A small bow in Totally Pink Trendy Twine was adhered to the corner of the frame.
Here are the dies I used on my card, available in the shop:

Warm Wishes Layout

Hello! I'm back over on the Scrapping Cottage blog for my guest designer post.  Today I'm sharing a single page 12x12 layout.  I used several Cottage Cutz dies on this page.
The patterned paper was the inspiration for the die cut cuts on my layout page.  I cut all of the drinks from the Cottage Cutz Coffee & Cocoa Warm Wishes and Sweet Christmas die sets.  Everything was inked on the edges for added dimension.  The mug from the Sweet Christmas set was layered on top of a circle cut from the Pierced Circle set.
I created a pocket and tucked in an ephemera die cut card.  A couple of tags cut from the Cottage Cutz Nested Stitched Scallop Rectangle set were stamped with sentiments from the My Creative Time "Do the Cocoa Motion" stamp set.  A small bow in Christmas Mint Trendy Twine was adhered to the mug.
The title and drinks were layered on a piece of paper to act as a shelf.  I added a second layer of paper underneath for a pop of color.
Some Stickles were used to accent the holly berries and the candy cane for a sparkly finish.  The Stickles coordinate perfectly with the strip of red glitter paper on the base of my layout page.
To fill up some of the space at the top of my page, I layered the title at an angle above the 4x4 photo mat.
The journaling pocket was layered with the mug and the sentiment tags were tucked insides.  A few adhesive gems were sprinkled amongst the drinks.

Christmas Journal

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a fun project idea to capture those holiday traditions.  This journal is perfect for memory keeping. I used the Momenta Explorer Journal and embellished the original kraft cover by adding my own festive papers.  The red, white and green theme really give the journal a traditional Christmas feel.
I adhered a Momenta doily layered with some die cut snowflakes and a Christmas tree.  I used my Cricut Explore for the snowflakes and Christmas tree.  I placed the stag from the Art-C Southwestern stamp and die combo on a Pierced Circle from Cottage Cutz and added some holly as an embellishment.  The "december 25 and 2018" were cut from the Momenta Months of the Year die set and layered on the cover.
I heat embossed the stag and "december" with some glitter embossing powder and added Stickles to the 25 and to the holly berries.  The holly was accented with the Art-C Glitter Water Brush.  A whimsical "cheer" sticker from the Momenta Christmas Messages sticker sheet was added on a hand cut flag.  A few glittery enamel dots and some Cranberry Trendy Twine were the finishing touches on my journal.

Merry Christmas Card and Tag Set

Hello!  Today I have a fun Christmas card and tag set to share.  For this card and tag set, I used some Oxide Ink for the aqua background, spritzed it with water and then splattered it with some white paint. I really like the snowy end result.  I layered the background with a stag die cut from the Art-C Southwestern die & stamp combo.  On the tag, I added the stag to a circle die cut from the Cottage Cutz Circle die.
Some Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine was used as an embellishment on both my card and tag.  I also scattered a few sequins on my card and added one to the center of the snowflake on my tag.
The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Merry & Bright stamp set.  I popped up the sentiment on some foam pop dots for a bit of dimension.

Merry Christmas Card and Treats

Hello!  I'm sharing a fun project idea over on the Scrapping Cottage blog as their guest designer.  I used the Cottage Cutz Christmas Tag Topper set for my card and treats. This set is so versatile and can be used for so many different projects.
I found the papers in my stash from the DCWV Winter mat stack, the papers are a lighter card stock which works best for wrapping the Hershey's Nuggets.  I trimmed the wrappers to 1"x3" which is the perfect size for the chocolate.  I used Glue Dots Temporary Adhesive tape to adhere the wrappers to the Nuggets.
The tray for the Nuggets was cut at 2"x4" in a heavier card stock.  I scored the sides at 1/4" to create the tray.
The tag toppers were die cut to coordinate with the Hershey's Nuggets.  I used a pen to detail the snowmen faces and buttons.
Once I wrapped all of the Nuggets, they were secured to the trays with a removable Glue Dot, this helps to keep them from shifting in the clear bags.  I cut out the rectangles from the Cottage Cutz Nested Stitched Scallop Rectangle set and folded it in half to create the bag topper.  The base of my card was inked on the edges and splattered with some blue paint for a bit of detail.
I adhered the banners to the card based and used some Totally Blue Trendy Twine to accent the top of  my card.
Here are the dies used on my project available over in the shop:

Birthday Fishes

Hello!  I'm sharing another project for the Cottage Cutz Black Friday die release as their guest designer. The design team has been posting the cutest projects with these dies over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.
My card was created with the Goldfish & Bowl die set which is just one of the 16 new dies in this release. I used the Nested Stitched Eyelet Circle set over the chevron card base.  I adhered the goldfish bowl to my die cut circle.  The goldfish and bubbles were accented with Glossy Accents for a shiny affect.
The adorable sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms (retired) "Little Critters" stamp set.  Some Cranberry Trendy Twine was tied along the top edge of my card for a bit of texture.

Baked with Love Layout

Hello!  Today I'm back over on the Scrapping Cottage blog for my guest designer post.  When I saw the adorable Measuring Cup Snowman die, I was immediately inspired to create a layout page to memorialize our holiday goodie baking event.
I found the perfect papers in my stash with the oven mitt background. The rich colors are so beautiful.  I cut out a few of the measuring cups and an additional snowman for extra embellishments on my page.  All of the die cuts were inked on the edges for a bit of dimension.
The Stitched Circle Set was used for the different sized die cut circles.  The hearts are from the Stitched Heart Set.
I tucked in a journaling tag behind the photo mat accented with a die cut heart.  The sweet snowman was placed on the die cut circle and adhered next to the tag with some Glue Dots Adhesive Tape.  A bit of Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine was the perfect accent on my photo mat and tag.
A line of measuring cups hanging along the edge of the paper provides a fun element on my layout.  The hearts were adhered to the measuring cups with some Memory Book Glue Dots.
The whimsical title was placed on the double die cut circle so it would pop on my page.  I simply added the the measuring cup snowman next to the title for a cohesive look.
I placed the title on my layout page and tucked in heat embossed sentiment from the Scrappy Moms (retired) "Filled with Love" stamp set.  A few enamel dots and die cut heart were the finishing accents on my layout page.
Here are the the dies I used to create my layout page available over at Cottage Cutz:
