Love Layout

Today I am sharing an elegant layout which I created several months ago.  I used some gorgeous papers from the Lemon Flower Stack from DCWV.  The title was cut from the Victorian Romance cartridge, the flowers from the Sophie cartridge and the yellow mat from the Elegant Edges cartridge.

The Pointed Flower EK Success punch was used for the photo mat border and the Fiskars border punch was used along the edges of the horizontal border.

Bling flourishes from my stash were added as an accent amongst the flowers.  I tucked in a tag behind the photo mat with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Crazy for You stamp set.  A small bow in Totally Black Trendy Twine was the finishing touch on my layout.

Pretty In Pink Blog Hop

Hello everyone, welcome to the Trendy Twine Pretty In Pink Blog Hop!  The Trendy gals are showcasing the new release of Pink Licorice and Pink Midnight twine and both are available at a special price in the spools and minis.   Since I absolutely love pink, these colors are going to perfect for my creations.

My project features Pink Licorice Trendy Twine.  The treat container was cut from the Victorian Romance cartridge and modified by only leaving one of the ends open.

I added some pink tulle to the opening of the container and embellished it with heart stick pins and tied a twine bow with beads as an accent.  A second double twine bow with beads was added to the heart on the front of the container.  A few more embellishments including ribbon, a button with twine, a flower and a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms "Crazy for You" stamp set finished off the treat container.
