Recently I came across some pictures that I never scrapbooked which inspired me to create this layout. Two years ago, my son broke his arm playing baseball and I have a couple of pictures of him getting his cast. In all honesty, as I think about it I could probably create an entire scrapbook of all of his injuries over the past several years, yikes!
I started my layout page with the black and white paper from the DCWV Dots, Stripes, Plaids Stack and layered it with the legend paper which I found in my stash. Most of the die cuts are from the Dr. Checkup cartridge, however, I did use a few other cartridges.
I used some chevron washi tape to accent a few of the die cuts and tags on my layout. A bit of Cranberry Trendy Twine was used to embellish a few of my die cuts.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a spectacular day!

Trendy Twine Design Day
Happy Monday! I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a CAS card to share featuring some gorgeous Midnight Trendy Twine. It was the perfect masculine color for a graduation card for my son who is graduating from high school. I participated in a Cricut Cards file sharing event and this was one of the files shared in the group. I love the simple design of the cap and gown which were cut with the different shapes in Cricut Design Space. The row of buttons were cut from the Paisley cartridge, the tassel from Wild Card and the 2016 from the Cricut Alphabet cartridge.
The tassel was outlined with some Midnight Trendy Twine and layered with a twine tassel. A small brad was adhered to the center of the cap. The twine also accented the diploma in the center of the sentiment circle. The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Dancing in Circles (retired) stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Head on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to check out the gorgeous twine used on my project along with lots of other crafty goodies! Have a fabulous day!

My Favorite Girls Layout
Today I have a double page layout to share over on the KaDoodle Bug Designs blog which I created for some pictures of my daughter and niece. My layout was inspired by the sweet girls from the KaDoodle Bug Designs Lady Bug Girls file. I had previously created a card with this file and knew I had to make a layout page with these adorable girls. This file was extremely tedious to piece together so I left off all of the little dots on the girl's dresses. By the time I got to adding those, I was pretty much done. The girl's faces were stamped with the new Peachy Keen Fashionista Face Assortment Stamps. I'm really loving these new face stamps and how realistic they look.
The title for my layout was cut from the Sugar and Spice Cricut cartridge, however, the original title was "My Favorite Things" so I substituted in the word "girls" for "things". A few extra flowers were cut from the Wild Card cartridge to add a bit more detail and layering to the flowers from the Lady Bug Girls file.
A grass border punched with my Fiskars Grass punch was adhered along the bottom of my layout page. A few bling accents and a fun tag were the finishing accents on my layout. The tag was tied with a bit of Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Wild About You Layout
Today I have a fun layout page to share which was created using several different cartridges in Design Space. The lamb on the second page was cut from the Easter Seasonal cartridge and the chicken from the Country life cartridge. The other animals were cut from the Cute Farm Animals cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs. Their faces were stamped with the Peachy Keen Black Eyed Critters Face Assortment Stamps.
My layout page started as a simple one page layout and kept evolving as I continued to add die cuts. I love all of the details on each of the pages. I kept my embellishments to a minimum by only adding a few touches of Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine to the tags and the lamb. I also added some bling stickers to the fence posts.
All of the die cuts were inked on the edges for a bit more dimension. The finishing touch was a couple of sentiments from the Scrappy Moms Party Animals stamp set.

Lucky Card
Happy Saint Patrick's Day! I have a quick card to share which was created using the Create a Critter Cartridge for the title, Wild Card for the envelope and Indie Art for the Shamrocks. I added Stickles to some of the Shamrocks and to the title.
The background of the card was embossed with the Darice St. Pat's Background embossing folder. I added some Limeade Trendy Twine on the edge of my card and finished it off with a bow.

Love Layout
Today I have a single page layout to share inspired by the sketch challenge going on over at My Creative Time.
I used this gorgeous Anna Griffin stitched paper for my background which already had the "love" title stitched on it. Next I layered some black card stock punched with the Spiral Arches Martha Stewart punch.
The tiny envelope was cut from the Wild Card cartridge and I added several hearts from the My Creative Time Stitched Heart Layering Dies. A small heart was also added to the center of the camera which is from the My Creative Time Stitched Camera Die.
I added lots of embellishments to my layout including some Valentine's ribbon, sequins and a fun chevron button. The tickets and journaling tag came from my stash. The photo mats, envelope and button were accented with Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.
My layout was finished with a fun sentiment from the My Creative Time Sports Sentiment stamp set. I combined 2 different stamps to create the I Love You tag.
