Little Love Monster Card

Hello, today I have another fun card to share using the new Warts Up stamp set from Scrappy Moms Stamps September release.  For my card, I used the Toadally Wicked cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I modified the cutting file to create a shaker design.  The pumpkin's face was stamped with the Pumpkin Faces Peachy Keen Stamps.

A web border punched from the Martha Stewart border punch was adhered to the base of my card and the sentiment tag was added on top.  I used some Stickles on the witch hat for a bit of sparkle.  The finishing touch was a small bow in Grape Limeade Trendy Twine along with a small flower.

Witch Way to the Candy?

Happy Monday!  Today I have fun Halloween themed card to share.  I designed my card using a "tea length" card.  This style card is 4x9.25 inches and fits perfectly in a regular mail envelope.  I used the adorable Witchy Ghosts cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  Each of the witchy ghosts were matted on some card stock to keep them from blending into the background.  Instead of cutting out the faces for the ghosts I opted to used the Variety Face Assortment from Peachy Keen Stamps.  I just love the fun personality the face stamps add.

I accented the paper piecings with several different colors of Stickles for some sparkle and shine. The sentiment is from the new Warts Up stamp set from Scrappy Moms Stamps.  I stamped it on a tag cut from a Momenta die.  The sentiment tag was embellished with some Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine.  A couple of enamel dots and a coordinating button with a bit more twine were the finishing touch on my card.

Scrappy Moms Stamps - September Release

Welcome to the Scrappy Moms Stamps September Release Day!  We have 2 new stamp sets to share with you today:  Homeland Heroes and Warts Up!  For my project I created a patriotic card.  I went to my stash of dies to create my card using 2 Momenta dies, one for the stars and one for the sentiment tag.

All of the gorgeous papers are from the DCWV Christmas & Winter Diecut Stack.  I used some Stickles on several of the stores to give my card some sparkle and shine.  The sentiment is from the new Homeland Heroes stamp set.  The sentiment tag was embellished with some Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine and some bling stickers.

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello everyone!  I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a coffee themed double paged layout featuring Cherry Latte Trendy Twine.  This double page layout is a fun representation of my recently found love for coffee.

I created the layout pages using Cafe Coffee Girls cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The girls face was stamped with Rosie's Favorites Face Assortment Peachy Keen Stamps.  The die cuts for my layout came from the Love You A Latte, Holly & Ivy and Summer Celebrations Cricut cartridges.

Some fun washi tape was adhered along the top and bottom edge of my layout pages.  I did a lot of embellishing with the Cherry Latte Trendy Twine.  Not only did I outline several of the cuts on my page with the twine, I also used it as an accent, the color combination was perfect.  All of the sentiments are from the Scrappy Moms Freshly Brewed stamp set.

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello everyone!  I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a fun project featuring Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine, and these adorable mini cups which the design time has been spotlighting this entire month.  For my project, I went with a Halloween theme and used these adorable Kraft metal rimmed tags which are new in the store.

After I covered my mini cup with some fun Halloween paper, I adhered a punched web border over some solid card stock and wrapped the coffee cup to create a sleeve.  One of the metal rimmed tags was adhered to the front of the cup while the other one was added as a tag.  The embellishments for the metal tags were cut from the Creepy Cookies cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The Spooktacular Taffy twine was the perfect color combination for a fun embellishment not the lid of the coffee cup and on the tag.  I tucked in a small sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Bewitched stamp set.

Udderly Fun Layout

Today I have a simple layout page to share.  The patterned paper was perfect to create a sunny day theme.  The Cutie KaToodles Girl Cow is from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The title was cut from the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge and welded together.

I added a couple of fun flowers to the cow and a small bow in Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine. Another bow was also added to the title.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Stamps Just Sayin' stamp set.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Fall Color Challenge - Brown and Orange

Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps.  The theme for this challenge is to create a project with Fall colors specifically brown and orange.  I created a shaker card for my project using a polaroid style frame from the When I was a Kid cartridge.  I printed the cute little pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch Bears from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The leaves for my shaker card were punched from the Ek Success Falling Leaves punch.

I embellished my card with some Orange Truffle Trendy Twine and a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Bewitched stamp set.  The tiny acorn and leaf were left over from another project however coordinated perfectly with my card.  A few enamel dots were the perfect finishing touch.

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello everyone!  I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a fun project featuring Cherry Latte Trendy Twine, and these adorable mini cups and mini spoons.  I created the coffee caddy using my Cricut Explore, however made lots of modifications to it by hand for it to fit my cup perfectly.

These adorable mini wooden spoons were tucked in the front of the caddy, however, also fit nicely in the back.  A bit of washi tape was wrapped along the top edge of the spoons for a decorative touch. The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Freshly Brewed stamp set and was stamped on a hand cut flag.

The mini cup was covered in some coffee themed paper and embellished with a small banner and Cherry Latte twine.  The tiny cups on the banner are cut from the kraft seal which is also adhered to the caddy, available from Annie's Paper Boutique.  I love that the mini cups are the perfect size to tuck in a K-Cup, these will be perfect office gifts for the upcoming holidays.

Girl Time Layout

As I scrapbook layout pages I have to remind myself to also capture the everyday moments and that is exactly what this layout is about.  I used the It's a Girl Thing cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs for all of the paper piecings.  The title was cut from the Paisley Cricut cartridge.

The whole page is so girly so I added the several flowers and lots of bling to keep within the theme.  I framed my word art paper on some solid card stock which was punched on the edges with the Scalloped Sentiments Fiskars punch.  A small tag with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Girls Just Want to Have Fun stamp set was added to my layout page.  A small bow in Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine was the finishing touch on my layout.

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello everyone!  I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a fun card featuring Cherry Latte Trendy Twine.  I absolutely love the twist of red, kraft and white in this twine.  I created a yummy card using the Donut Lovers cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  All of the donuts and the sleeve for the coffee cup were embossed with various Cuttlebug embossing folders.  The added texture certainly makes the donuts look more appealing even though donuts always look appealing to me.

I used the twine to accent the tag and lid on the coffee cup.  I also outlined the heart on the coffee sleeve with the twine.  A Cherry Latte Ziggy Trendy Page dot was added to the sentiment tag which coordinated perfectly with the twine.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Ice Cream Social stamp set.
