Trendy Twine Birthday!
Hello everyone, the Trendy Twine Design Team has joined together to surprise Lesley with a special birthday post. Each of the design team members created a special card that was mailed to Lesley to wish her a very Happy Birthday! For my project, I used some fun papers from Doodlebug Design since I know Lesley loves their products and the color pink is one of her favorites.
I adhered a Treat Bag to the front of my card which was the perfect size to tuck in an oversized tag which can be reused as a bookmark. The tag was accented with a Chevron Trendy Page Dot and some gorgeous Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine. The twine was also wrapped around the Treat Bag. The cupcake was cut from the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge and adhered to a scholloped circle which was popped up on foam dots for added dimension. A sweet sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set was tucked in on a hand cut flag.

Trendy Twine Design Day
Hello everyone! I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a fun project featuring the newly released Creamy Pumpkin twine. It is a gorgeous twist of pumpkin orange and natural/unbleached twine. For my project, I created a fall themed layout page using the Crisp Autumn Days cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs. I added the fox and his barrel of apples to a large banner tag so he would stand out on my project. The banner tag was accented with a couple of coordinating Hello Fall Trendy Page Dots and some twine.
A few scalloped flowers were punched using kraft card stock and the twine was used for the centers. I used my watercolor pencils to create the accents on the scalloped flowers. I also embellished the background mat with a bit more twine. A couple of doilies from my stash were tucked in behind the mat and accented with some coordinating flowers.
Head on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to check out all of the new gorgeous twine colors available for those Fall projects. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

Touchdown Layout
Today I have another project to share with the newly released Scrappy Moms Stamps In the End Zone stamp set. I created a single page layout for a picture of my son who is a senior in high school. I used the Simple Life: Football cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.
I always find it a challenge to keep my layouts simple since I love embellishments. I had to keep the masculine theme in mind. I added 3 different sentiments from the new stamp set since they were all perfect for my layout. The finishing touch on my page was a bit of Totally Black Trendy Twine tied to the "2015" tag.
Here's a closer look at the new stamp set, available here:

Thank you for all you do!
Hello! Since it is Veteran's Day, I thought I would share a simple patriotic card created with the Cutie KaToodles - Army Penguin from KaDoodle Bug Designs. I used the print and cut feature to create this quick card.
The scalloped square was cut from a spellbinders die and embellished with some star sequins. I added a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Homeland Heroes stamp set and finished my card off with a small bow using Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine.

Dino-Mite Layout
Happy Monday! I haven't been feeling well for the past couple of weeks and haven't had the chance to get in my scrap room so I thought I would share a simple layout which I created some time ago and never shared on my blog. My layout was created using the Cute Little Dino cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs. The title was cut from the Dino Play cartridge. I embossed the dinosaur with the Mesh Texture Cuttlebug embossing folder and the egg with the Darice Crackle embossing folder. I love the texture embossing adds and need to remember to use my embossing folders more.
The "you rock" sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp sets. This is one of my go to stamp sets. Some Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine was added to the photo mat as a finishing touch.

Scrappy Moms Stamps - November Release Day
Welcome to the Scrappy Moms Stamps November Release Day! We have 2 new stamp sets to share with you today: In the End Zone and Local Lingo! I created a fun coach's card as the football season is wrapping up at my son's high school.
I cut out the teddy bear football player from the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge and stamped his face with the Peachy Keen Teddy Bear Assortment stamps. The grass border was punched with the Fiskars border punch and I tucked in an extra football which was cut from the same cartridge, however in a larger size. The sentiment is from the new "In the End Zone" stamp set.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Scarecrow for Hire
Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps. The theme for this challenge is Scarecrow for Hire. For my project, I created a card using the Happy Harvest Scarecrows cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs. I printed the scarecrow on card stock and used my Spellbinders die to cut out the shape.
I punched out some leaves using the EK Success Falling Leaves punch and scattered them around the scarecrow. Some Orange Truffle Trendy Twine was used to frame in the scarecrow on the mat. A hand cut flag with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms "A Holiday to Remember" stamp set was adhered to my card.

Trendy Twine Design Day
I found this fun textured burlap paper in my stash and added it to the sides of the Kraft Boxes. Each of the sides were stamped with the Peachy Keen Basic Fall Faces (retired) stamp set. I cut a hat from the Simply Scarecrow cartridge using my Cricut Explore and adhered it to the top of the scarecrow face on the front of the box. A small twine bow accented the hat. I also wrapped the lids of the treat tubes with some fun paper and tied a bit more twine around the tube.

A Trendy Twine Halloween
The Trendy Twine Design Team is finishing off this month with a special post to wish our fans a very Happy Halloween. For my project, I created these fun Peppermint Patty Treat Holders. I started my project with the Peppermint Patty - Turkey Treat Holder from Treasure Box Designs and only cut out the base which created my pumpkin.
I used my Cricut Explore to add the stem and leaf at the top. The pumpkins were stamped with the Peachy Keen Pumpkin Faces stamp set. The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms A Haunting We Will Go stamp set. The finishing touch on my treat project is the coordinating Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine.

Batty for Sweets Layout
Hello, today I am sharing a project over on the KaDoodle Bug Designs blog, this will be perfect for some Halloween pictures. I used the Cutie KaToodles - Batty for Candy and the Creepy Treats cutting files from KaDoodle Bug Designs for my layout page. I found this fun candy themed paper in my stash and thought it was perfect for my layout page.
I embossed the candy on the title and the pumpkin with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder. A bit of Stickles were added throughout the page for a sparkly effect. The Martha Stewart Spider Web Punch Around the Page punch was used to create the border on the background of the layout. All of the sentiments, the tiny webs and bats are from the Scrappy Moms Bewitched stamp set. Some Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine was used to accent few of the die cuts and the large tag.
