Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Dreaming of a White Christmas

Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps.  The theme for this challenge is "Dreaming of a White Christmas - use snow or the color white".   For my project, I created a card using the Fun in the Snow cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The face was stamped with the new Peachy Keen Snow Sucks Assortment face stamps.  All of the gorgeous papers are from the DCWV DIY Project Stack Ornaments.  I just love the iridescent paper in this stack.
I mixed in some gorgeous Frosty Sequins amongst the snowflakes in the background and added a few to the bucket of snowballs.  The snowballs were accented with some Stickles.  The fun sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Winter Wishes stamp set.  A small bow in Totally White Trendy Twine was adhered to the bucket.

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello everyone!  I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a single page layout to share featuring Holly Berry Trendy Twine.  I created my layout using some beautiful papers from the DCWV Hand-Painted Christmas Stack.  The adorable penguins are from the KaDoodle Bug Designs Trimming the Tree cutting file.  The penguin faces were stamped with the Wintertime Buddies Face Assortment stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps.
I accented my entire layout with some gorgeous Holly Berry twine which coordinated perfectly with the papers.  A Chevron Trendy Page Dot was added to the large tag tied to the photo mat.  The scalloped circles were punched with the EKSuccess Scalloped Circle punch in 2 different sizes, hole punched and stamped with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Christmas Cheer stamp set.  Some bling stickers were adhered to the Christmas Tree as an embellishment.
Head on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to check out all of the gorgeous twine colors available for those Christmas projects.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have an awesome day!

Elf Tags

Today I am sharing a couple of gift tags I created.  I found the Christmas count down paper in my stash and cut out a couple of tags with it.  The elf feet were cut from the Christmas Feet cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I accented them with some gold Stickles for a bit of sparkle.
The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Merry & Bright stamp set.  I punched out the sentiment tag with a 1 inch circle punch and adhered it to the center of my tag.  A bit of stitched ribbon and a bow in Cranberry Trendy Twine were the finishing touch on my tags.

Snowflakes are Kisses Sent from Heaven

Today I have a project to share which I created for a couple of challenges I had in mind.  I created a fun card using the sketch challenge for December over at DCWV.  I used the 6x6 "DIY Project Stack Ornaments" for my card.  Even though this stack is designed to create 3D style projects, I love the gorgeous papers it has and I couldn't resist using those sparkly snowflakes.  I trimmed down a couple of snowflakes so they would fit better on my card.
My card looked a bit plain so I added a punched circle to the center of the large snowflake and stamped a snowman face from the new Peachy Keen Everyday Character Snow Faces stamp set.  The sweet sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Winter Wishes stamp set.  This has been one of my go to stamp sets lately, I love all of the sentiments on it.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Sending Holiday Cheer!

Today I have an easy gift idea to share.  I used my Cricut Explore to cut out this hot chocolate pocket. A packet of hot cocoa fits perfectly inside the pocket.  This file was shared in one of the Cricut Facebook groups and unfortunately I couldn't find who to give credit too.  I used some pretty snowflake paper from the DCWV Hand Painted Christmas Stack.  More snowflake paper from the same stack created a fun belly band.
The large snowflakes on the center of the belly band were cut from the KaDoodle Bug Designs Snowflakes cutting file.  A circle was layered in the center of the snowflakes and stamped with the Peachy Keen Frosty Friends stamp set.  The handle of the pocket was accented with another snowflake and some Cranberry Trendy Twine. The finishing touch was the sweet sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Merry Kissmas stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day!

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello everyone!  I'm over on the Trendy Twine blog today with a fun project featuring a Candy Tin from Annie's Paper Boutique.  I was trying to find a creative use for my tin so I packed it with some Candy Cane flavored Hershey's Kisses and decorated it as Santa.  I used the Christmas Feet cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs to cut the Santa feet for my tin.  The D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder was used to accent the fur on the Santa feet.  I attached some black paper along the center and cut out a buckle with my Explore.  A few buttons were added along with a scalloped border punched from the Scalloped Sentiment Fiskars Punch.
The scalloped border was accented with some Holly Berry Trendy Twine.  More twine was used to accent the sentiment tag.  The tag was punched with the Fiskars Tag Punch.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Christmas Cheer stamp set.
Head on over to Annie's Paper Boutique to pick up these Candy Tins for those holiday projects.  You will also find lots of crafty goodies in the store along with some gorgeous twine colors.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Tag It!

Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps.  The theme for this challenge is "Tag It - use a tag".  For my project I created a tag which can be attached to any gift.  I hand cut my tag and adhered a large snowflake to it.  A Swirly Trendy Page Dot was added to the tag as an accent.  The sweet snowman was cut from the Snow Cute Snowmen cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The face was stamped with the new Snow Happy Face Assortment Peachy Keen Stamps.
The snowman's hat and tag were both embellished with some Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine.  I also used some Stickles along the snow at the bottom of the tag.  The sweet sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Merry Kissmas stamp set.

Holiday Hugs!

Happy Monday!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I know I enjoyed the long holiday weekend with lots of food and family time.  Today I have a fun and festive card to share which was created with the Cool Snowman cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  I just received my new Peachy Keen Stamps and used the Snow Funny Face Assortment stamps for the snowman's face.  I popped him up on some foam dots for added dimension.
The "Holiday Hugs" sentiment seemed to be the perfect fit for this guy who is ready to give a big hug.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Christmas Cheer stamp set. The finishing touch on my card was a small bow in Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine.

Happy Thanksgiving!

The Trendy Twine Design Team is finishing off this month with a special post to wish our fans a very Happy Thanksgiving.  For my project, I created a very simple card with some fun goodies from my stash.  I started my project off with a basic kraft card which had the festive polka dots printed on it.  I simply popped up a couple of acorns on some foam dots which were embossed with the Houndstooth Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The acorns were then finished off with twine bows in Totally Kraft Trendy Twine.
I ran some coordinating ribbon along the base of my card and attached a hand cut flag with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms A Holiday to Remember stamp set.  The finishing touch on my card was a few sequins from the Autumn Sequins Mix from Annie's Paper Boutique.
Don't forget to head over to the Trendy Twine blog to check out all of the awesome projects from the design team.  Also, stop by the store to check out the products I used on my card and so many other crafty goodies.  Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Thanksgiving!

Gobble Till You Wobble

Hello, today I am sharing a project over on the KaDoodle Bug Designs blog.  I created a Thanksgiving card using the Cutie KaToodles - Turkey cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  The Cutie KaToodles are one of my favorite lines from KBD since I love their big eyes and this file is no exception.  I gave my turkey some fun criss cross eyelashes to make those big eyes pop even more.
I stamped a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms A Holiday to Remember stamp set on a scalloped circle.  A bit of doodling was added to the scalloped circle with my white gel pen.  The scalloped circle was adhered on some pop dots for added dimension.  My card was finished off with some Pumpkin Spice Trendy Twine on the base of my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day and a Happy Thanksgiving!
