Thanks Card

This is a very simple card I made to use as a thank you card.  The flip flops are cut from the Life Is A Beach cartridge.
I forgot to write down which cartridge I cut the "Thanks" from.  I added some bling and a foam flower to the flip flops.
I used pop dots under the straps of the flip flops and some white stitching with a gel pen around the card.

Baseball Layout

I created this layout for my sons baseball pictures from this season.  All of the cuts are from the All Sports cartridge.
I had several pictures for this layout so I kept the die cuts a bit smaller.  I made the baseballs larger as I wanted them to stand out.
I used this fun word collage instead of using a formal title for the page.  I think this collage says it all.
I added faux stitching to some of the die cuts, to the photo mats and around the entire page for extra detail.
Here are some close ups of the baseball players.

Family Layout

I made this layout using the Reminisce Accents and George and Basic Shapes cartridges.  This layout is for some of my family pictures from my nephews wedding reception from earlier this year.
The "Family" title and the banner were cut from Reminisce Accents.  The banner on Reminisce Accents was not designed to go with the Family phrase, however I really liked this banner so I made it work.  The flowers were cut from George and Basic Shapes.
The flowers are just one cut, layered multiple times and in multiple sizes.  I embossed the flowers with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder to add some detail to the flowers.  I added bling to the centers of the flowers.
I really wanted to keep this layout simple because of all of the patterned paper I used.  I did add some details to the title with a white gel pen.
Here is a close up of the large flower, I used multiple layers and sizes to create it.
I apologize for the pictures.  This paper has a sheen too it which makes it very pretty but difficult to photograph.  The patterned paper is all from the same package and coordinates beautifully, however, the colors look really off in the pictures, sorry about that.

Have a Sweet Day Card

I made this card using the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge.  Both the title and the cupcakes are cut from Sweet Treats.
I used the cupcake embossing folder from the Once Upon A Princess set to emboss the background of the card.  I also embossed the title and cupcake wrappers.
I used stickles on the cupcakes.  A white gel pen was also used for detail.

Friends Layout

This layout was created primarily using the Kate's ABC's cartridge.  I also used Elegant Edges for the round doily mat on the two pages.  I cut the mat in half so it would be symmetrical on the two pages.
I think I was in a hurry to be done with this layout and took my pictures before I added a white mat over the beige mat on the second page of the layout.
I added extra details with a white gel pen. I also embossed the butterfly in the "Friends" title and the flower in the "BFFS" title.  A couple of the flowers were also embossed.
Since the "Friends" and "BFFS" phrases did not have a shadow, I cut them out twice in two different colors and offset them for dimension.
Here is a close up of the vase with flowers.  The titles, flowers and the vase were popped up on foam for added dimension.

Coach Card

I made this card for my son's baseball coach as a thank you for being such a great mentor this season. This card was created using the Everyday Paper Dolls and Boys Will Be Boys Cartridges.  All cuts on the front of the card are from Everyday Paper Dolls.  Peachy Keen stamps were used on the face.
I cut the "thanks" on the inside of the card from the Boys Will Be Boys Cartridge.
The only thing left to do is to tuck in a gift card.  Thanks for stopping by.

Our Group Layout

This layout was created using Forever Young, Formal Occasion, and Paisley Cricut cartridges.
The title was cut from Formal Occasion.
The dress on the hanger was cut from Paisley.
Both purses were cut from Forever Young. The extra flowers in the layout and on the photo mats were also cut from Forever Young.  The flowers are multiple cuts of the flower on the white purse.  I added an extra layer to the flowers along with bling.
Coordinating ribbon was added to the photo mats for a little detail.  All cuts are popped up on foam dots.
White and black gel pens were used for additional detailing and for finishing touches.  I used scraps from the layout to make a coordinating card.
The dress and the title were both cut from Paisley and popped up on foam dots.

100+ Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop

Welcome to the 100+ Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop!  You should have just came from Erica's blog which is the beginning of the blog hop. Each designer along the hop is featuring one or more cartridge for their project. Now on to my projects:

"#1 Dad Card"
For this project I decided to create a Father's Day card.  This is a standard A2 size card.  The mats for the card base are cut from the Lacy Labels Cricut Lite cartridge.  I cut each layer at 4.5".
The sentiment on the card is cut from Celebrate with Flourish Cricut Lite cartridge at 3.0".  The title has been popped up on foam for added dimension.
I also used a white gel pen to add some stitching to the card.
"Baby Card"
For my next project, I created this baby themed card.  This is a standard A2 size card.  The card is cut from the Kate's ABC's cartridge.  The baby shoes and layers are cut at 3.5".
The "baby" title is also cut from Kate's ABC's at 1.40".
I added a second layer under the title for added dimension and interest and used pop dots between the layers.
The card is embellished with pink pearls, stickles and a white gel pen.  The baby shoes are also popped up on foam.
Thanks for hopping by my blog and now it is time to send you to Patricia to see what she has in store for you.
