Hershey Bar Treats

Happy Halloween!  Today I am sharing some simple Hershey Bar treats.  To create these special treats for my favorite trick or treaters, I wrapped a full size Hershey bar with a 6x6 sheet of paper.  I used the EK Success Jack-O-Lantern punch for the face.
The treats were finished off with some Trendy Twine in Lime Licorice and Orange Licorice.

Treat Bag

I have another fun treat to share today.  I repurposed a small glassine bag and added some candy inside.  The bag was closed off with some ribbon and a Lime Licorice bow.  I tucked in a small spider punched from a Martha Stewart border punch.  A sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set was stamped on a hand cut flag.
The treat bag was finished off with a spider web border punched from the Martha Steward Spider Web punch.  I added some more Lime Licorice twine to the ends of the web and wrapped it behind the treat bag.

Cookie Treat Bag

I used a Martha Stewart treat bag to create my cookie bag.  I created a topper for the bag by using a strip of polka dotted paper.  The topper was embellished with two doilies cut from the My Craft Spot Tiny Doilies set.  I added a spider to a pop dot and placed him in the center of the doily.  The spider was punched with the EK Success Spider Link punch.
The bag was finished off with some Orange Licorice Trendy Twine and a small hand cut flag stamped with a sentiment from My Craft Spot's Tasty Treats stamp set.  I thought the sentiment was so perfect for those yummy Oreos.

My Craft Spot Guest Designer and Giveaway

Happy Friday, this is Sukie from Scrappin Dhilly and I am honored to be a guest designer for My Craft Spot today.  For my project, I created a single page 12x12 layout using My Craft Spot's Tiny Doilies metal dies and the Tiny Tags 3 stamp set.
The cat was cut from the October 31st Cricut cartridge and the banner was cut using the Pretty Pennants cartridge.  I cut the banner flags at 3.5 inches and embossed them with the Darice Spider Web embossing folder.  Next I layered the doilies from the Tiny Doilies dies using 3 of the doilies and adding foam pop dots between one layer for added dimension.  I also embossed the top doily using the same embossing folder.
I used Totally Kraft Trendy Twine to join the banner together.  A few paper flowers with bling centers were added to the ends of the banners.  I used a small pre-printed "candy" tag next to the photo mat which is a die cut from the Recollections die cut paper pad.  The photo mats were embellished with a fence punched from the Martha Stewart Crooked Fence punch.
I added a small hand cut flag with another doily and added the "Sweet Treats" sentiment stamped from the Tiny Tags 3 stamp set.  My layout was finished off with a spider tag which was created by using a doily and adhering a spider tag on top using foam pop dots.  The spider tag is also from the Recollections die cut paper pad.
My Craft Spot has generously donated a stamp set (winner's choice) to one of my followers.  All you need to do is:
  • Check out My Craft Spot and pick out your favorite stamp set.
  • Leave a comment on my blog telling me which stamp set is your favorite.
  • I will announce the winner on October 24th.
I just wanted to thank My Craft Spot for having me as a guest designer, I loved using your metal dies and stamps on my project.

Trendy Twine Design Day - Boo Layout

Today is my design day over at Trendy Twine and we are sharing projects featuring the Trick or Treat Halloween Twine this month.  For my project, I created a one page 12x12 layout.  I tried a new technique using the twine to write the title.  It was fairly simple to create the letters with the twine and adhere them with glue.  I only have a sneak peek of my project, pop over to the Trendy Twine blog for a closer look and more details.
We have many Halloween colors of twine to choose from, check them out in the store.  Also, come link up your projects with our new challenge this month.

Boo Card

The idea for my card was scraplifted from Pinterest.  I used the Tiny Doilies metal dies from My Craft Spot for the "Boo" on my card.  I cut 3 different doilies and layered them on top of each other using foam dots between the layers.
The "Boo" letters were cut from the Hello Kitty Font cartridge and the ghost was cut from Happy Hauntings.  A small bow made from Orange Licorice Trendy Twine finished off my card.

Trendy Twine Design Day - Halloween Tag

Today is our group design day over at Trendy Twine and we are featuring Trick or Treat twine this month.  This color is a vibrant orange twisted with grape which is perfect for those Halloween projects. For my project, I created a Halloween Tag.  I added a small spider web to the tag which was punched with a Martha Stewart punch.  I created the spider by cutting an oval and adding twine to it and then adhering twine for the spider legs.  Some Black Licorice Trendy Twine was used for the spider web.
At the bottom of my tag, I adhered strips of the Trick or Treat Twine to create a fringe bottom.  Some Studio G washi tape from Annie's Paper Boutique created a border between the web and the fringe.  My tag was finished off with some tulle and a twine bow.
Check out all the different Halloween twine colors in the store.  We also have a fun Halloween challenge going on this month so come link up your projects.

Disney Magic Layout

This Disney layout was created using the Mickey and Friends cartridge for Mickey and Minne, Mickey Font for the title and the Mini Monsters cartridge for the lampost.
The Mickey and Minnie die cuts with the lamp post reminded me of Main Street at Disneyland and were perfect for the pictures I have for this layout.
I twirled some Berry Trendy Twine around the lamp post as an accent and to add some color to my layout.
The Mickey ears silhouette were also cut from the Mickey Font cartridge and added above two of the photo mats.
The kraft tags came from my stash and were stamped with the Scrappy Moms "Mini Messages" stamp set.
I used my white gel pen to add some doodling to all of the die cuts and to the tags.
Some metal stickers, bling and felt flowers were added as embellishments to my layout.
