Birthday Fishes

Hello!  I'm sharing another project for the Cottage Cutz Black Friday die release as their guest designer. The design team has been posting the cutest projects with these dies over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.
My card was created with the Goldfish & Bowl die set which is just one of the 16 new dies in this release. I used the Nested Stitched Eyelet Circle set over the chevron card base.  I adhered the goldfish bowl to my die cut circle.  The goldfish and bubbles were accented with Glossy Accents for a shiny affect.
The adorable sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms (retired) "Little Critters" stamp set.  Some Cranberry Trendy Twine was tied along the top edge of my card for a bit of texture.
Here are the dies used on my card available over at Cottage Cutz:

Meow are You?

Hello!  Today I'm participating in showcasing the Black Friday Cottage Cutz die release as their guest designer.  This set of dies includes 16 new pet designs and they are absolutely adorable!  These dies will be the focus of the Scrapping Cottage  blog over the next 3 days.  I know the design team ladies will have some amazing creations to share!
I created my card using the whimsy Fancy Feline die set.  I used the Nested Stitched Scallop Circle set over the plaid background card base.  The circle was slightly trimmed on the edge for a better placement on my card.  I adhered the "kitty condo" to my die cut circle.  The sleeping kitty is perched on top.
I couldn't resist adding the adorable mouse and ball of yarn.  My card was finished off with a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Party Animals stamp set.  It was a fun play on words!

Baked with Love Layout

Hello!  Today I'm back over on the Scrapping Cottage blog for my guest designer post.  When I saw the adorable Measuring Cup Snowman die, I was immediately inspired to create a layout page to memorialize our holiday goodie baking event.
I found the perfect papers in my stash with the oven mitt background. The rich colors are so beautiful.  I cut out a few of the measuring cups and an additional snowman for extra embellishments on my page.  All of the die cuts were inked on the edges for a bit of dimension.
The Stitched Circle Set was used for the different sized die cut circles.  The hearts are from the Stitched Heart Set.
I tucked in a journaling tag behind the photo mat accented with a die cut heart.  The sweet snowman was placed on the die cut circle and adhered next to the tag with some Glue Dots Adhesive Tape.  A bit of Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine was the perfect accent on my photo mat and tag.
A line of measuring cups hanging along the edge of the paper provides a fun element on my layout.  The hearts were adhered to the measuring cups with some Memory Book Glue Dots.
The whimsical title was placed on the double die cut circle so it would pop on my page.  I simply added the the measuring cup snowman next to the title for a cohesive look.
I placed the title on my layout page and tucked in heat embossed sentiment from the Scrappy Moms (retired) "Filled with Love" stamp set.  A few enamel dots and die cut heart were the finishing accents on my layout page.
Here are the the dies I used to create my layout page available over at Cottage Cutz:

Thanks Card

Hello! Today I'm sharing a fall themed card created with some dies from Momenta.  My card started with a basic wood grain paper for the background to which I added some leaves left over from another project. The leaves were cut from the Momenta Cut & Emboss Leaves dies.  I used some Oxide Inks to add the depth and dimension on my leaves.
The "thanks" sentiment was cut from the Momenta Alphabets cutting template and inked on the edges.  I tied some Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine on the edge of my card.  A few scattered sequins were the finishing accent.

Trendy Twine Birthday Surprise

Hello!  Today I'm participating in a special birthday celebration for Lesley over at Trendy Twine.  For my project I created a coffee themed birthday card.  The base of my card and doily were all cut using dies from Gina Marie Designs.
The focal point of this card is the coffee cup with a heart from Cottage Cutz which was layered on top of the doily.  The dimensional details of the coffee cup makes it a fun element on my card. The sentiment is from the APB Smile stamp set.  Another sentiment was added to the inside of my card from the same stamp set.
My card was finished off with some sequins, gems and a tiny bow in Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine.  The pink and brown color combination of the twine was the perfect compliment to my card.
Head on over to the Trendy Twine blog to check out all of the wonderful birthday wishes for Lesley! Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Have Yourself a Cozy Little Christmas

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a project over on the Cottage Cutz blog for my guest designer post.  I have a fun project idea to add a personalized touch to those holiday gifts.
I started my project by cutting out the pieces from the Ugly But Cute Sweater die set.  I cut the tag with white card stock from the Nested Stitched Scallop Rectangle Set.
I dressed up my tags by adding a colored reinforcement punched with the We R Memory Keepers Hole Reinforcer Punch.  The cheery sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms (retired) "A Holiday to Remember" stamp set.  The tags were topped off with some Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine.
The die cut sweaters were put together with bright, colorful card stock.  I ended up creating three different sweaters combining the elements from this die set, the possibilities are endless.  The pop of colors is perfect against the basic white tag.
These tags will be perfect for adorning holiday gifts.  The handcrafted touch will be great for personalizing those packages.
Here are the dies I used on my tags available over at Cottage Cutz:

Travel Memories Layout

Hello!  Today I'm sharing the second page of a double page layout.  I initially created a single page layout with the same papers.  I loved this color combination from the DCWV Travel Adventure Stack and the DCWV Maps, Text, Ledgers stack.  The photo mat is from the Momenta Watercolor Splash paper pad.
I used the Momenta Alphabet Cutting Template die for the "travel" title, the Momenta Cut & Emboss Arrows die for the arrow and the Momenta Romance Cutting Template die for the vintage key.  The Momenta Vellum Shaped Message sticker pad was used for the variety of sticker on my layout.  I added a few Momenta Stencil die cuts as embellishments.  Some Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine was used on the photo mat and tied to the key.

The sentiment is from the same set and was stamped on a die cut circle from the Cottage Cutz Stitched Circle Die Set.  A simple enamel dot was added to the center of the sentiment.

Fall Pumpkins

Hello, today I'm sharing a card for my guest designer post over at the Scrapping Cottage blog.  I adore Cottage Cutz dies and the Autumn release is one of my favorites with so many inspiring products!
I found the perfect fall themed papers in my stash from the Recollections Harvest Delight 6x6 paper pack. I wanted to break up the background pattern so I cut a couple of strips of paper from the same paper pack in the solid colors. All of the pieces were adhered with Glue Dots Adhesive Gluetape to the kraft card base.
Next I cut out the pumpkins and leaves from colored card stock using the Pumpkins & Vines dies. The pumpkins were inked on the edges for added dimension.  I cut out the oval using the Stitched Oval Set and also inked it on the edges.  The whimsical "fall" sentiment is from the Fall Phrases die set.
I adhered the oval to the base of my card which is a standard A2 size card (4.25 x5.5) and layered it with the set of pumpkins.  The pumpkins were overlapped a bit so they would fit perfectly on my card.
To finish off my card, the leaves were anchored around the pumpkins along with the sentiment.  The rustic look of this card is definitely the look I was trying to achieve.
The dies I used for my card are available over at Cottage Cutz:
