Have a Fairy Nice Day!

Hello!  Today I have another card to share over on the Scrapping Cottage blog created with the new Magical Garden die release.  The design team has been showcasing the most adorable cards with fairies, gardens and gnomes from this release.  My card follows the same theme and was created with the new Cottage with Petal Roof and the Fairy Garden Flowers die sets. All of the die cuts were shaded with my Oxide Inks in coordinating colors.

I created a magical garden scene by adding all of the die cuts to the Nested Wacky Stitched Rectangle base.  I used a printable sentiment and added it to the speech bubble die from the Telephone set.
Here are the die sets used on my card, available in the shop:

The Ocean Is Calling Card

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a card created with some fun stickers and dies.  I recently discovered the Momenta Mermaid Extra Puffy Stickers and was inspired to created this whimsical card.
I created the background panel with a combination of Distress Oxide Inks and layered it with the Mermaid Scale Mat.  The white card stock created a stark contrast between the layers.  Next I cut an a oval with the Momenta Nested Oval Border, inked it and layered it on top.  The mermaid stickers and some bling was scattered on my card base to finish it off.

Home Sweet Home

Hello!  I have another card to share today showcasing the new Cottage Cutz Magical Garden die release over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.   The Mushroom House could not be any cuter with all of it's details. The colors of the house were inspired by the patterned paper and it was layered on a Stitched Rounded Rectangle die cut.
I stamped a simple sentiment from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Writing on the Wall stamp set to make this card perfect for a house warming gift.
Here are the dies used on my card, available in the shop which are currently on sale:

Journey Book

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a couple of pages from my Journey Book insert.  It will be perfect for memory keeping.  The Explore Your World collection from Paper House Productions was perfect for this project. All of the papers, cut apart tags and stickers coordinate perfectly.
I created an insert pocket for tucking in keepsakes.  The pocket was embellished with stickers from the same collection.  The cut part tags were tucked into the pocket for journaling.  I popped up a few of the stickers on foam dots for added dimension.
The second page of my Journey Book insert is all about memorializing that special trip.  The travel notes tag is just the right size for adding a picture or for journaling.  The tag was adorned with a vintage camera sticker.
The airplane was the perfect finishing accent.  A few enamel dots were adhered as a decorative element.

Gnome Sweet Gnome

Hello!  Today the Cottage Cutz design team is showcasing the new Magical Garden die release over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  These dies are absolutely adorable!  When I saw the Gnome on a Tree Stump I knew he would be perfect for the focal point of this sweet card.  He was added to the center of a Stitched Circle die cut which was layered on top of a another circle from the Circle Set.  The double circles provide some dimension and contrast behind the gnome.
A border created with the Picket Fence Border die was adhered on the bottom of my card.  A hand cut sign with a printable sentiment adorned the fence border.  The sign was tied with a bit of Totally Blue Trendy Twine.
Here are the dies used on my card, available in the shop and they are currently on sale:

Happy Father's Day!

Hello!  Today I'm sharing this Father's Day card over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  These masculine dies made it easy to create this fun card for celebrating dad!
I created my card by cutting the pieces from the Hats, Glasses & MustachesHappy Father's Day Phrase and the Nested Stitched Scallop Square die sets.
I found this mustache themed paper in the Doodlebug Day to Day paper pad and coordinated the solid colors with the patterned paper.
Once I created my card base, I layered the background with the larger Nested Stitched Scallop Square.
The smaller Nested Stitched Scallop Square was turned on it's side and adorned with the die cuts.  I added some Glossy Accents inside the glasses.
While the Glossy Accents were drying, I worked on the inside of my card by adhering the sentiment along with the hat and mustache.  I also stamped a sentiment on a hand cut flag from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Fun Celebrations stamp set.  A piece of solid card stock was also added as a decorative element.
Finally my card was ready to be put together by adhering the die cut pieces to the card base.
To finish off my card, I added the stamped sentiment at the bottom portion of my card.  The whimsical design of this card will be so fun for Father's Day.
Here are the dies used on my card, available in the store:

Oh So Sweet Layout

Hello!  Today I have a super fun layout page to share in honor of Donut Day!  The Paper House Productions Beach paper pad had the perfect chevron patterned paper for the background.  I broke up the pattern with some basic card stock and a couple of strips of Paper House Productions Washi tape.
The top of my layout page was perfect for framing my donut picture.  I set up the letter board and donuts for my husband on our anniversary since it is his favorite junk food.

The donut, cupcake and coffee stickers are from Paper House Productions Sticky Pix Faux Enamels, Playhouse Vanilla Donuts and the Sticky Pix Stickers.  I layered some of the stickers on die cut circles and popped them up on foam dots for added dimension.
A few stamped sentiments were tucked into my layout page.  The small card with the sentiments will be used for a bit of journaling to memorialize our anniversary.  My layout page was finished off with a sprinkling of enamel dots.

Hello Card

Hello!  I'm sharing this CAS card for my design team day over on the Scrapping Cottage blog.  This card came together very quickly with a few die cuts.
The patterned paper inspired the colors and rustic tones of my standard A2 sized card.  The scraps left over from other projects worked perfectly with the patterned design.
The Telephone is absolutely adorable with the coordinating speech bubble.  I used the Hello die cut for a larger sentiment.  The sweet tag is from the Love Tags Set, I added a strip of brown behind the heart cut outs.
Once I created the base of my card, the tag was offset to one side of my card.  I adhered the tag directly on top of the patterned paper.  I love the striking contrast of the colors.
The next step was to add the speech bubble with the sentiment onto my card base.  The rustic telephone was adhered in the center of the tag creating a "happy hello card."
As a finishing accent on my card, I added a small bow created with some Totally Natural Trendy Twine.
Here are the dies used on my card, available in the shop:

Celebrate Card

Hello!  Today I have a fun card to share which was created with some amazing products from Momenta.  To create my card, I used the Momenta Butterfly Cut & Emboss set.  I inked up the base of my card with some Oxide Inks, splattered it with some water and embossed it with the butterfly folder in the set.
Next, I cut out the butterflies with the dies which have an embossed finish.  The sentiment is from the Momenta Hello, Smile, Celebrate Set.  A few sprinkled sequins were the finishing touch on my card.
